  1. I've been listening to a book on Audible by Adyashanti called Resurrecting Jesus. He talks a lot about the Gospel of Thomas which was only discovered in 1945. Adyashanti says that it is in effect a guide to enlightenment and that at the very beginning says (and I'm paraphrasing here) "If you can crack the code of what Jesus is saying in these words then you will discover the kingdom of heaven yourself"

I wanted to share the following quote from it too, just because I thought it was interesting and maybe a little inspiring

"The disciples asked Jesus "What can the kingdom of heaven be compared to?" He said to them "It can be compared to a mustard seed. Although it is the smallest of all the seeds, if it falls on fertile ground it makes a plant so large that it can shelter the birds of the heavens."

Just thought it might be of interest ?

  2. @Muhammad Jawad I would second what others have said here, you need to do the work to find out the answers.

I made the mistake too of trying to find the answers from other people. I know that you think that if you just ask enough then you will "get it". It isn't like that. What you are looking for is prior to thought and what is revealed doesn't come in the form of "knowledge" in the traditional sense of the word. It's so counter intuitive. Nobody can give you the answers, period.

The best advice I can give is to stop wasting years (like I did) and do the practices.

Watch some of Leo's videos, get yourself on the right track and then meditate, do self inquiry, yoga, shamanic breathing, psychedelics, buy Leo's book list. Whatever it takes. You really need to put the time in. Nobody can unravel this for you.

Sorry to be so blunt and good luck ?

  3. @Muhammad Jawad Watch Leo's videos called "What Is Actuality" and then "What Is Truth".

I'm sure that both will help you. Try to pay attention to what is right here and right now.

I come from a Christian background and found it difficult initially to let go of the dogmatic idea of God that I'd been taught by the Church and the surrounding culture. It's hard, but you have to try and drop all of those ideas before you can start to make progress. Imagine coming into non-duality like a child, with no preconceived ideas of what you're looking for.

Check those videos out though, they changed everything for me. ?

  4. @Intraplanetary It made me learn to appreciate what I'm doing and why. I used to spend time lusting after what and where I thought music production might get me. It was all about massaging my own ego.

I understand what @alden has written above as well. It nolonger bothers me what I imagine people might think of what I create. I create simply for the sake of being creative. I enjoy the beauty in the music and the process. It's nolonger about where it might get me (fame, money etc)

I also realised there's nothing "wrong" with anything I'm doing. I used to follow rules that I'd heard others talk about being important in production. (I don't mean the basic principals) Once you learn to drop any ideas and concepts about rules, the true creative expression begins.

    Hope that helps ?
