  1. Yeah, it's a magical place to be - this forum, this world, this infinite illusion!
  2. Life is magical for me when I'm out in the nature, making art, singing, AND when I'm hanging out with small children (I have some of my own though ;-) Then one can deeply dive into their world and be a child again.
  3. Here is a nice video about the faith of our sun and Earth: And this is a nice one about the formation of our solar system:
  4. @Leo Gura Does hate exist in an enlightened stage also? ;-) (Yeah yeah, I'm back at moralizing in green, lol. I will go and do dishes now...)
  5. Skunks are incredible creatures. They can do magical things...
  6. Do you guys realize how far we have come? Thank you, Leo!
  7. @Leo Gura And today? And tomorrow? Will you be able to keep loving him no matter what happens?
  8. @Leo Gura: Why are you not loving Jordan Peterson yet? Or are you? After all Jordan Peterson = Leo Gura = you (whoever reads this) = me = we.... Right?
  9. http://thework.com/en For me, this has become a practice of meditation throughout the day. It helps me to stay in the current moment and in the big picture thinking. I can observe my thoughts and inquire them - especially in conversations, emails and forum posts ;-) I dare to propose that this is of tremendous importance as we are increasing our consciousness in the "human condition".
  10. I would like to propose that social media are of fundamental importance once the human condition reaches higher states.
  11. @Leo Gura Here I=you=we are back at moralizing, lol. Now turn your statement around ("Byron Katie -style") Can you see the brilliance of it? Have you stopped judging Green? Have you opened your heart? We are almost there ?
  12. @robdl @Faceless Lovely conversation you had there. I enjoyed the entertainment.
  13. To me, this is Leo at his best. Killing the knowledge graph, without getting depressed about it... I mean, in the end we can all choose to not get depressed about it, right? With the conceptual truth, we can make that choice. We are lucky to have brains within our illusion....
  14. @How to be wise and @Leo Gura: He was surely self-actualizing, wasn't he? Plus may I dare to suggest that having children of your own and having your mother diagnosed with cancer may have played a significant role.
  15. ... or it will become something greater than it ever was? P.S. until then I embrace the resistence and practice patience ?
  16. @Emerald Nice, I have two kids as well (4 and 6 years old, girl and boy). I learn a lot by observing them and our interaction with them. The most rewarding moments are those when I realize that they learned something when I was simply a good role model. Precious ? (but yes, it get's tough to remain completely independent from any positive or negative feedback, lol...) I will keep looking for books/references regarding Spiral dynamics and children's development but maybe they need to be written first ? Or do you know of any sources @Leo Gura?
  17. The question for the forum is - what is needed for a change? And is it ready for a change? Can we do a little thought experiment here? Imagine - you have been working way too much and your body starts to tell you this, e.g. you have a stroke, get a burn-out or you get diagnosed with cancer. Really dive into how this would feel and once it feels real - I bet you, you are "crashing" and are ready for the next transformation! But it really has to feel real... it might take a bit longer contemplation. All of a sudden there will be more empathy for others and relationships and bonding will be more important than earning millions of $$.
  18. @Emerald: What's your background?
  19. Marshall Rosenberg - good one!
