  1. @Victor Mgazi What made you think that I beat myself down if I act unconsciously? (What are you reflecting? ;-) If I were you (which I am, of course), I would read our texts again and replace every "You" with "I" or "We". I=you=we know it's unbelievable!
  2. @Emerald I just watched your video and it makes a lot of sense to me, hopefully to others, too! ?
  3. Never mind that he is obviously advertizing to get a brain scan at his institute. I figured I would post it anyway because I'm fascinated by Neuroscience and wonder what impact it will have in the future.
  4. Yeah, those simple thoughts - are we able "to catch them" when they arise?
  5. The people I feel closest to are "self-actualizers" and "seekers". Why do I feel closer to them than to other people? Because I have not yet healed my loneliness, have I? If I would be able to heal my loneliness, I wouldn't make a difference between "self-actualizers/seekers" and "other people", would I?
  6. Observing of the present moment is the key to realize that there is no division between thinker and thought , I would say ? Once I get overwhelmed with a situation and fail to observe, I fall back into the subconscious ego-programmed mind.
  7. As long as I observe myself criticizing other people, I'm not done with self-inquiry. But I know I can make a difference, if I stay humble, honest and brave.
  8. After many years of implementing Byron Katie's "The Work" into my self-inquiry, I have become a "lover of what is". Today, I wanted to take my 89-year old grandmother (who has Alzheimers) into town for a little shopping tour, because I know that she wanted to do that for a long time and nobody else seems to have time for it or wants to do that with her. When I checked in with her this morning, she had already visited her parents grave at the graveyard and looked very tired. So, I sat with her for a while and she fell asleep. I was able to just be with her in the present moment - and everything was OK. I'm a lover of what is.
  9. July 12, 2018 - 10pm European Day Time: My conscious part of the day today is almost over... In the evenings, I like to ask myself this question: If today was my last day as human being on this Earth, would I have done anything differently? No, I wouldn't. My day was filled with precious moments.... beautiful trees, beautiful clouds, beautiful flowers along the corn fields, birds, caterpillars, ants and rocks. Rocks that were transported many miles by glaciers in the past. Rocks that can tell many stories if one just looks closely. My day was filled with precious moments... looking into my kids eyes when they were joking with me, giving them a shoulder to cry on when they needed one, listening to their stories, playing and running and laughing. My day was filled with precious moments... I drove many many miles to meet a friend I hadn't seen in 2 years and we both had tears in our eyes. My day was filled with precious moments... I saw so many solar panels, wind mills and a bridge for wildlife to cross over a major German "Autobahn". I saw so many upcycled items today, I almost couldn't believe it! When I look closely, I can see that many things go in the right direction. My most precious moment of the day: My kids singing Narayan Shabd together with me in the car. My 4-year old daugther knows the text so well, I had goosebumps. And then we arrived at our destination and my son asked me if we could sing it until the end. And so we sat there and sang another 5 minutes or so. Healing my soul: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRnts2rtr4g
  10. Zweistein translates to "two rocks". Any other interpretation is likely some issue I=you=we haven't resolved. P.S. I encourage comments - I will answer them between the lines ?
  11. Uhhh, I love this stuff! How about drawing this as win-win-win circles (Eben Pagan style)? It was the first video Leo posted in the stage yellow Megathread.
  12. @tsuki Yeah, I love asking questions, too. I have come to the conclusion that if I find myself giving advice (without being asked for it), then there is something inside of me that I still need to work on ;-) I typically write advice also in a hidden form talking about me rather than about the other person. I assume you understand what I = we are talking about, haha.
  13. I just wrote a few lines - maybe you find them helpful?
  14. @pluto love this image ? @Artaemis Oh don't worry, I won't shut up. Now, I know why I = we are here. My intuition told me ?
  15. Here is another video with Emma Watson (can't help it, Leo's list had too few women for my taste ;-) And here are the reasons why I think that she is one of the first feminists who sees the bigger picture: - she realizes that the word "feminism" is a problem - she sees the complexity - she is openminded - she can put herself into the men's perspective and is very understanding - she is doing research and analyzing, connecting the dots, pulling ideas from different sources - she is able to provide concentrated information (-> UN speech) - she is able to act quite neutral and is building bridges - she has a vision Convinced?
  16. @tsuki thank you! I=we must have had a quite unconscious moment asking this question, lol.... ? Wait, that was a judgement now, wasn't it? I better shut up....
  17. You can find the whole movie on YouTube actually!
  18. Oh jeeze - that sounded arrogant again, didn't it? I know I'm more of a masculine woman and I need to show my emotions more, too.
  19. @Emerald Now I had more time to take a closer look at what you had written. Thank you for all your explanations! I still have a lot to learn obviously! I don’t want to come across as arrogant or as a moralizer / know-it-better - I’m aware that I probably do, so I want to apologize for that. Of course, I’m a feminist, too and I agree with many things you said! And yes, probably the word “Feminism” was (or still is) needed as it strikes more at the core of the movement than the word "Equitism". I assume that my problem is that I’m still a bit too impatient – maybe it can be called “Equitism” once humanity, or let's say enough people, have reached stage yellow/turquoise? Maybe we could agree on that? You are absolutely right here! At the moment, men are still learning about the issues women are facing. And women are learning about the issues men are facing. And white people are learning about the issues black people and other minorities are facing. And so on... let's not forget about LGBT! And let's not forget about people with all sorts of disabilities/impairments! Then the question becomes - how do we actually learn this? Apparently, one thing that works quite well, is when we seriously attempt to step into each others shoes. I remember that there was a Twitter thread at some point, where a male coworker answered the emails a female coworker got: https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/what-happened-when-a-man-signed-work-emails-using-a-female-name-for-a-week_us_58c2ce53e4b054a0ea6a4066?guccounter=1 I will probably get a lot of BS for this statement now, but I openly admit here, that I have put my husband on purpose in situations, where he had to take on the female role, i.e. making dinner with two screamy/hungry kids surrounding him while I was working in another room. It may feel like moralizing big time, but to me it seemed like I had no other choice. I tried to talk to him about it (so many freaking times, seriously!), but I didn’t feel understood or even heard! But guess what, since ever I decided to do that – things are actually changing! Plus, may I dare to say that I have a much better understanding for his side as well. So yes, I wish more men would discover their feminine sides! Please, men – start crying! Show us your feelings! I’m quite sure that most women would actually appreciate that (I guess especially once a woman has reached stage green). Ok, so now I will go and read some Jean Benedict Raffa ? Just downloaded the "Dream theaters of the soul".
  20. @Emerald I will get back to you - let me do some research first. I wanna take a look/read the books you suggested. ? In the meantime, I also found these lovely videos:
  21. Haha, I just read it all now ? But think about it, a picture says more than 1000 words. If you have time and Photoshop ready, take the graphic and change it. I think the boxes should actually be included, too. It shows the disadvantages better.
  22. In my humble opinion, it would be great if a huge number of people could at least minimize their Ego so we can have less suffering in the world (note, that I didn't say any, but less!!! would be good)! And yes, I know, in the end, it doesn't matter AT ALL if we manage or not.
  23. @Emerald hehe, here we go again, aren't we? ? Can you tell me=you=everyone in one sentence why we "should" (?) read it all? (I know this sounds mean, I'm sorry ?)
  24. I agree with much of what you said, but can I ask why you are here? ?
