  1. @tsuki These words helped me understand - maybe they can help you, too? If we want to break the cycle of the "Never-ending story", don't we=you=I have to clean our inner-most mirrors constantly? If we don't do that, wouldn't history repeat itself over and over?
  2. How could we possibly synchronize our clocks & efforts more? This is the question, I'm asking myself these days. (I'm tired of feeling lonely*). ??? *don't project anything dramatic into these words. It's really not that bad actually.
  3. @tsuki How do you=I=we perceive the difference between teacher and pupil? You don't want the difference to be there, right? What if you=I=we change our perspectives?
  4. @Feel Good you have some points there, too! Will o wisp has finally arrived at the tower now, too.
  5. Could it be like that, that once you speak, you are automatically back in the relative domain? Could it be like that, that once you think about what to say, you are back in the relative domain? Could it be like that, that once you silently observe yourself thinking, you are back in the relative domain? Could it be like that, that once you silently observe yourself silently observing yourself thinking, that you are back in the relative domain? Could it be like that, ....?
  6. *******busy, cleaning my inner mirror******
  7. I think @tsuki actually has a very good point there. To me it's the paradox of all paradoxes though. But what do I know.... sometimes I feel like I'm in some sort of mirror forest here in the forum*.... I guess it's time to go and clean my inner-most mirror to see clearly again though. *I know this statement implies for some of you that I'm trying to blame here, but maybe you can see it as an expression of my feelings though? ;-) P.S. Wait a second, I thought I had just learned to rather ask questions instead of giving answers. Damn it. So, let me re-frame: Could it be true that the distinction between relative and absolute is the root cause of the hierarchy of people with respect to consciousness?
  8. I wanted to comment a bit more, because I think it matters deeply what kind of books/films/games our kids are exposed to. Lately, I have been paying a lot more attention to what kind of books we are reading to our kids. @waking_dreams I totally agree - plus, for me as a parent, it is also a special bonding time with my kids, too! It took me 39 years to come across concepts like spiral dynamics. If we would be able to introduce younger generations to concepts like this earlier, maybe then there is a greater chance for earlier healing? (I understand that everyone has to go through the different stages and I understand that it takes time.) But if people would be able to understand the nature of thoughts & emotions in earlier stages of their life, and also learn earlier how to reflect & recontextualize, show emotions in a healthier manner and find their unique passions earlier, wouldn't that be awesome? Thanks to @now is forever, I started to dive deeply into the books by Michael Ende and I realized how much wisdom is packed into his books. I had seen the "Neverending story" as a child, but when I listened to the audiobook yesterday, I realized how fully this book is packed with wisdom and possible recontextualizations! For the Germans around here, check out: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inhalt_und_Interpretation_der_Unendlichen_Geschichte (as a start) if you are interested. Isn't it an act of wisdom itself to put so much wisdom into children's books? Unfortunately, the movie for the "Neverending story" didn't turn out as well as Michael Ende would have liked it to turn out. But I think "Momo" is probably quite ok to watch:
  9. @ChimpBrain I like the idea of creating a list - would it be useful to try to pin down the spiral dynamic stage(s) of a book, too? Or is that a bit too freaky? Do you want to include movies and songs, too?
  10. It's not just projection, it's also reframing or recontextualization ;-) You can also go deeper and ask: Who told you (or where did you get the belief from) that stuttering is actually a "problem"? Could it be that the society is having a problem? What could you do to contribute to solving this problem?
  11. I'm not sure if it can "fix" it - but it might help with healing. If you contemplate: How does it make others feel if they see/hear your stuttering? and then: Is that their or your problem? ?
  12. The integral leadership equation HOW should WHO lead (motivate/manage/teach/influence etc) WHOM to do WHAT for WHICH people (culture/group etc.) living WHERE and WHY (Don Beck et al. (2018) "Spiral Dynamics in Action")
  13. The strange thing is - I painted this a year ago. Now, I feel like I'm done asking questions and looking for answers (at least for now... ;-) and I feel like I can go straight (back) to 50% nihilism (enjoying lovely moments during the typical daily chores, playing with the kids, simply enjoying life!) and 50% actual work (which involves creating, learning & loosing track of being in the moment - but hey, that's completely fine - as long as I inspire others!!!!).
  14. My ego wanted to trick me again and make a big deal out of this, lol...
  15. Yeah, I know - I shut up now for a while until I find my center again for this pirouette. I'm at the darkest of all places right now
  16. I guess I'm in the middle of learning how to play. I know I will stop blaming and the bliss will come back! It's just a bit much to sink in right now (bla, blaming again, I know, lalala).
  17. @tsuki I think you should totally see if you like creating? Circles are a good starting point, you know? I'm feeling so sad right now - am I really ready to leave green behind? Feeling so nostalgic all of a sudden...
  18. Oh that's a good one @tsuki! Nihilistic towards nihilism ? Love that! And haha - I can post a rabbit ? from my phone ?. And off I go again to digest the dandelion you guys/girls fed me. Still can't believe what just happened. Wait, I can choose what to believe, daaaahhhh ?
  19. @Tom Daniel D Are you involved in effective altruism by any chance?
  20. I kind of feel sooooo observed - so freaky! Too bad that there is no rabbit emoticon ... But yeah, I actually used to synchronize skate - but I'm not ready to share those videos here yet, lol! Would love to do it again but with better posture...
  21. @now is forever yep, totally - this is recontextualisation live! To all the silent readers out there - hope you are observing and learning along! ;-)
