  1. @Leo Gura How is it a bit of a dangerous idea? I stopped fighting for equality at least a year ago.
  2. By starting early. By committing to it 100% without giving yourself a wiggle room. Ideally, you should start before you are admitted into a middle school.
  3. @Strikr It is difficult to read your comment because of your bad english grammar. I agree that leo seems to contradict his own videos about non-duality and devilry, though.
  4. Are you on stage coral? How do you know you are on stage coral? What is Coral? Is it possible that you are actually on Yellow?
  5. My impression is that you haven't worked hard enough on forum comments to be effective enough. Your creative genius reveals itself in videos. An example of ineffective move is calling trump a fucking moron on the forum which doesn't help much to deconstruct BS but caters to people who already hate trump. I know you can't put as much effort into comments as you put into videos, but it will be better if you do a bit more.
  6. To a lion, a rabbit's value is that of toy and food. To a rabbit, its life is priceless. To a human, a rabbit's value might be as a cute pet. Some people value bunnies as food. To me, my life is priceless. To others, I am only as valueable as how much I benefit them. Worth is relative, but I know what kind of worth you are talking about.
  7. I just remembered that this thread is not really about actualizing oneself. If I was Leo Gura, I would close threads about jordan peterson and trump and whatnot to prevent people from being distracted by social issues.
  8. @SOUL According to your logic, you could already have been cucked by others. How do you know you are not cucked?
  9. Was I cucked by Leo Gura? I recommend watching If you have problems with Leo Gura, you should ask him. I'm not the best person to discuss his philosophy.
  10. For me, going to bed early and waking up early takes care of most of that. I just need to make sure that I set an alarm and go to bed early and fall asleep as soon as possible. If you do that, it takes far less willpower to bootstrap your day. Go to bed around a specific time, and wake up to an alarm. You should sleep for 6 hours or 7 hours and 30 minutes. It takes 20 minutes to fall asleep. So, you will lie on bed for 6 hours and 20 minutes or 7 hours and 50 minutes. To fall asleep as soon as possible, you should do the following things for 3 hours before you go to bed. Keep the environment dark. Reduce monitor's blue light with softwares like RedShift. Don't do anything that stimulates you such as watching movie or engaging in angry arguments. Don't drink caffeinated drink after 1:00PM. It can take 8 hours for caffeine to wear off. If you don't want to exhaust your willpower during day, you need to keep a few things in mind Don't create a wiggle room for distractions. 1% wiggle room will kill your work for the day. 1% wiggle room creates a room for a distraction that leads to another and then another and then another. You will be distracted for 6~8 hours without being aware that you're distracted. Work even if you could die. Don't distract yourself after eating meals. It will kill your day. Don't distract yourself when you have nothing to do. Just sit with boredom. Not being able to sit with boredom will kill your day. Train your focus muscle, or strategize your life whenever you have nothing to do. Whenever you are distracted, strategize about the thing that distracts you. The strategy about the thing will kill the distraction. If there is nothing to strategize, just remember to not give a wiggle room for distraction. Be ready to negotiate workload with yourself. Don't overwork yourself. If you think your mind and body are going to react violently, you should negotiate with yourself to reduce workload for the day. Do not take break from distractions. Take breaks from concentration. You should schedule time for distractions at least 5 minutes in advance. When you feel an urge to browse the internet, schedule an internet session at least 5 minutes later. That should give you 5 minutes to train your focus muscle. Set a time limit to your distraction. Schedule your entire waking hours so that it is easier to fend off distractions. Your ego will fill free time blocks with distractions. Schedule hours of time for reacting to unexpected stuff. I call it reaction time block. You should schedule something else to do during reaction time block if there is no unexpected stuff today. Chunk your work in pomodoro(25 minute) sessions interrupted by 5~10 minute breaks. It is great for keeping your concentration at high levels and preventing your body from suffering due to lack of exercise. I do light exercise during breaks. Set aside time for meditation, positive affirmation, and visualization. Leo has videos about those topics. Create a morning ritual to motivate yourself after you wake up. Here's my morning ritual. Make bed, brush my teeth, take a shower, eat breakfast, and brush my teeth again Prepare a cup of water and check weather Positive affirmation for 5 minutes Meditate for 20 minutes Visualize for 10 minutes Plan what to do today Take a 5 minute break before starting work. Recently, I forgot about not creating wiggle room. So, I will remember to not create a wiggle room tomorrow. I will try to execute it so repetitively that I will embody it and it will be done subconsicously. I embodied waking up early months ago. Nowadays, I really don't want to sleep in. So, I know I can embody not creating wiggle room, given enough repetition. I guess it will take a month to embody it and two years to make it fully subconscious. You have to have a clear life purpose to motivate yourself to execute hard work hygiene for years and decades. Leo's life purpose course helps with that.
  11. @SOUL That's what a human ego does by default. 99% of people do similar things. We are not very different from Jordan Peterson. Similarly, we are not very different from nazis. As leo said, human ego doesn't really want equality. It wants to obtain and maintain massive unfair advantages. Saints are very rare. Most people are no saint. People at the bottom and the top are all jockeying for power by default. When you climb social hierarchy, exploitation happens automatically. You don't have to exploit other people. It happens automatically. That's a property of pyramid. Automatic exploitation gives people at the top plausible deniability. When people at the bottom blame people at the top, those at the top will say they are victims of blame. The daughter of bill gates will inherit a lot of money, but she did nothing wrong! The pyramid is not going away anytime soon however you feel about it.
  12. I'm not sure where my center of gravity is recently. My center of gravity moved away from solid Orange. Material possession and progress don't excite as much as before. When Leo explains Green, lots of things resonate with me. At the same time, I nowadays care about practicality more than ever because life purpose requires it. Both Orange and Green don't impress me as much as before. However, I see lots of what seems to be Purple/Red/Blue people in supposedly Green movements. Purple(tribal) and Red(predatory) people are often the vanguards of some of those movements. This makes me cast doubts on the future of Green politics. I'm starting to recognize futility of pursuing group ideals and care more about self survival and practicality. I also recognized that I pursued equality and fairness for everyone because I wanted to reduce risk of becoming disenfranchised and dying early. It seems human egos care about equality to the extent that it helps ego survival. It doesn't matter whether you are Green or not. When anyone talks about equality, most of the time, I can see that it is about ego survival. But, they are in denial about this. An ideal Green movement would care about survival of every egoic creature including AIs, animals, humans, aliens, and so on. I haven't seen one, yet. What I often see is that feminists and transgender activists fight each other to death. Feminists and MRA are arch enemies. Not really inclusive at all. To me, they look like special interest groups in denial of pursuing special interests. My recent sentiment is "equality, my ass". It seems leo's videos made me more cynical. His video about ending wage slavery shattered my naive beliefs about equality. Futility of everything runs through the back of my mind. Am I in the process of going back to Orange and integrating Orange more properly before going back to Green? Or, am I graduating from Green? Or, have I been Orange all along? Is it the case that I'm an Orange person who resonates with Green and Yellow values only when Green or Yellow overlaps with Orange? Do I just care about psychological evolution to the extent that it overlaps with Orange progress? However, I shall not be too neurotic about not knowing where I am. I will revisit Spiral Dynamics after I succeed at life purpose.
  13. You should ask your parents to allow you to drop out of school. Tell your parents that you want to figure out life purpose. You should figure out your life purpose before you decide whether you want to go to college. College is not the right education model for many fields. For programming and engineering, college is good. Leo's life purpose course can help you with developing your life purpose.
  14. News helped me recognize con artists before. I could lose tens of thousands of dollars if I didn't recognize con artists. Recognizing threats and con artists is practical.
  15. At least, I know what to avoid and how to avoid it. It is like vaccine. It helps me build up an immune system. By the way, if everything was pre-determined, would I remain as a lazy asshole until death if that was my fate?
  16. Shit. Jordan Peterson's worries about radical left were kind of justifiable. It happens that in my country, some judges put a man in jail for months when a woman claims that the man touched her ass without any convincing evidence. There was a trial, but it was no proper trial because the man was assumed guilty without a convincing evidence. It happened recently. The CCTV footage shows a man passes by a woman, but does not show his hand. At best, I can guess that the man didn't see her, and his hand slightly bumped into her ass accidentally, or the woman is a con artist and pushed her ass toward his hand on purpose. The woman demanded the man give her about $10,000 USD for touching ass. The man resisted. The judge eventually put him in jail for months. In this country, punching a woman is a lesser crime than touching a woman's body. The legal system is broken. His wife is now very very very angry. This kind of loose legal standard for women is what women who claimed to be radical feminists demanded for years in my country. Now, it seems that their demand has already been accepted years ago. Practically, if a woman accuses me of touching her body even though I didn't, I should run away. I'm not going to be involved in this kind of hot mess. This weird trend can continue for some decades. Whatever feminism or post-modernism is, allowing this kind of loose legal standard for certain special interest groups is deplorable. It is quite possible that in the future, a worse version of trump will become the president of my country. I should not expect much from politics.
  17. Some people believe capitalism, anarchism, socialism, post-modernism, feminism, communism, or any other ideology will solve a lot of problems. People expect too much from politics, ideology, and ideologues. I think unrealistic expectations make people dysfunctional and dogmatic. Open-mindedness seems more important than any ideology. Once I stopped being dogmatic about many things, I started becoming more functional and far more pragmatic.
  18. @Leo Gura Perhaps, you should make videos about feminism someday so that we can at least know what is and is not feminism.
  19. On https://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-us-canada-38191313/no-truth-in-journalism-trump-voters-cast-wide-net-for-news, trump said there is no truth in journalism. He said that probably because some news media attacked him. On https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-45241838, trump's lawyer said "truth isn't truth". Trump and his lawyer demonstrated that relativism can be abused. They figuratively slapped post-modernists in their faces because post-modernists used to say there is no truth, too.
  20. @Leo Gura What about murderous bitches? Do I need a book to know that I should avoid them? I mean, practically it's enough to know that I should avoid murderous bitches and their public allies especially when I'm one of the targets of their murder fantasies. What most people care about is practical safety measures. You are focused on nuances. I'm focused on practicality and what to do about them personally. My personal policy is to avoid them and not assume they are actual feminists because feminism is a deep topic. I'm passionate about my own practicality for most topics. My real passion is reserved for a few topics related to my life purpose and my job. What can you speak in a practical point of view? Did you not say we should practically cut toxic people out of our lives in one of your videos?
  21. @Leo Gura Are you implying that radical feminists on media could be actual feminists and they actually make sense as feminists in feminist point of view? Are you implying that actual feminists have valid reasons to support so-called radical feminists? What am I missing? I don't need to read those books to understand game of thrones in disguise of (radical) feminism. I cannot imagine on my own how murder fantasies can be sympathized with by feminism. I was once a nationalist and fantasized murdering foreign people who invaded us in the past, but I never talked about my fantasies. I eventually realized foreign people are just like us. Oh my god, I fantasized killing innocent people. I recognized myself as a murderous asshole that I was. I am a completely different person now. Is feminism like my version of nationalism? Can you summarize what you want to convey in a few sentences or a few paragraphs? I don't want to wait until I read 5~10 books. I'm quite bogged down with my own work. I will need some serious motivation to even consider reading feminist books or post-modernism books.
  22. @Leo Gura I don't deny that I am reacting to it from my ego agenda. It just appears that radical feminists are successful at suppressing other kinds of feminism in my country. They performed a lot of publicity stunts on media recently. They are good at making people believe that radical feminism is the mainstream. There weren't publicity stunts a few years ago. Radical feminism is a fad in my country for now. I can say that they are working very hard to expand their influence. It looks like game of thrones to me. It's just that radical feminism is in throne at the moment. All I can relate to is game of thrones going on in media. This game of thrones has almost nothing to do with feminism. I also heard some rich people funded radical feminism to divert people's attention from important issues through publicity stunts. Many young women think radical feminism is hip and cool. I'd like you to consider the possibility that people who claim to be feminists are also following their ego agenda. Most people are sheeps that just follow latest trends. Feminism is in big trouble. I think actual feminism would be different from media queens who claim to be radical feminists. I don't think I need a book to talk about game of thrones played on media by self-proclaimed radical feminists. I think it's not feminism but game of thrones. I'm not a fan of JP although I was impressed by his verbal skills when he conversed with Cathy Newman. I watched only a handful videos of JP. My first impression of feminism came from publicity stunts, not from JP. I live very very far from USA and Canada where people don't speak english. JP doesn't have a lot of influence here. I'm not against feminism or post-modernism per se. Post-modernists made mistakes such as believing there is no truth until trump became the president and said there was no truth. There are people who are dogmatic about feminism or post-modernism. But, I don't know much about it to have a strong opinion about it. What I am against is self-proclaimed radical feminists who are big on media. I also don't like dogmatism which is like believing that black hole is absolutely real. There are always holes in a theory that expose a theory's fictitious nature. I intuit that feminism and post-modernism are ultimately fictions as much as black hole theory and science are. I don't have absolute trust in fictions.
  23. @Leo Gura Zero. I don't claim that what I described is real feminism. All I can say about feminism is people who claim to be feminists in real life. At least, I know that those radical ones and their allies are not real feminists according to dictionary or in an academic sense. I perceive it as a serious impostor problem. However, some feminist or gender-study professors also expressed verbal support for radical feminism. It seems impostors reside in academia, too. It makes sense because some biology professors spout bullshits like "Vitamin D generated from the sun is not the same as Vitamin D from Tuna." It is said that most self-proclaimed feminists didn't read any feminist book, either. I heard radical feminists in my country work very hard on suppressing other kinds of feminists. Sturgeon's Law states that 90% of everything is crap. Bad currency drives out good because it is so easy to produce bad currency. Trolls and psychopaths drive out good people through sheer force of arguments when there is no proper immune system. Islam was supposed to be like actualized.org, but fundamentalists hijacked islam a long time ago. I suspect infinite intelligence is forging a worse version of trump for my country.
  24. @Leo Gura You're right that they are at the fringe. But, they often launch street demonstrations where 10,000 of them protest. They said 30,000~70,000 of them joined the protest, but the number was somewhat exaggerated. 10,000 is the right number. Some major newspapers sympathize with their nature. And, less radical internet feminists have their own communities. Those less radical ones don't have murder fantasies, but they think of radical feminists as useful idiots who would benefit their own egos. It's typical egoic selfishness. It's not limited to feminism. American government agencies were caught funding islamic fundamentalists in the middle east because these agencies thought those fundamentalists were useful idiots. I thought USA was better than this. Those less radical ones say they are a few millions in number, and the number seems approximately right since they manifest the numbers in online votes. They gladly use feminist fundamentalists as useful idiots in bids for supremacy. The center of gravity of feminism in my country(e.g., some political parties) has often been seen showing support for radical feminists. The center of gravity is not necessarily in mainstream politics, though. However, they are slowly trying to deny ties with radical feminists because the public opinion is getting worse due to support for radical feminism. But, I'm not yet seeing the center of gravity try to clearly demarcate itself from radical feminism. Feminism as a political movement is as disappointing as government agencies waging proxy wars through foreign fundamentalists in foreign soil. I think that radical feminists and those numerous feminists who use radical feminists as useful idiots are mutants that Green needs to get rid of or detach from. It seems there is no saint in political movements. In the end, feminism cannot rise above the developmental level of its constituents. I might be wrong because radical feminism and its numerous public allies may be the loudest and the most conspicuous, but not necessarily the most numerous. I don't think I'm necessarily cherry-picking because their media presence has been growing quickly recently. It seems like a fad. It could very well be a bloated publicity stunt designed to make radical feminism look bigger than it is.
