It's not difficult to quit masturbation, but it's difficult to quit every addiction sustainably. Masturbation cannot be quit sustainably if you have other addictions. Other addictions often lead to masturbation. All addictions are interconnected. All addictions are based on fear of existential void.

I set it up to make me think twice before I access the addictive parts of the internet. However, blocking doesn't increase awareness meaningfully. It seems blocking websites is not helpful without awareness. If you already have awareness, uMatrix can help you avoid being sucked into distractions accidentally. However, most distractions are not accidental if my awareness is low.
