It's the same thing humans have been doing to each other. Humans would want to get rid of other humans who have different skin colors, different beliefs, different nationalities, and different genders. They would kill over some perceived differences. We are exterminators. I do not want to participate in wars, though. Fighting public wars is not my life purpose. If there is a communication war over the internet lines, I will just circumvent blockades through VPN and other internet technologies.

I often find that people on many (large) IRC channels are generally very intolerant with people who have different opinions or don't have enough information on a topic. Rather than trying to teach, they would throw bitchy criticisms toward me or threaten to kick and ban me if I continue talking. They keep trying to violate my boundaries. They seem to be bullies. Also, there are people on IRC channels who like bullies. Probably, that's because they are on a similar level of personal development or share similar ideologies and beliefs. Stackexchange is slightly better than IRC because the rules make it practically impossible to ban someone for petty reasons. But, it is often very intolerant toward beginners. If I'm not wrong, I believe the general quality of people on IRC and stackexchange is low because the rules favor bullies and psychopaths who are the biggest procrastinators and who need to feel superior. Long-time dwellers on those venues are often the most critical and the most angry and have the most power. The longer you stay there, the lower you stoop in the level of personal development. I see people stuck at unhealthy aspects of Red and Blue on IRC and stackexchange. I stopped using stackexchange years ago. Although my IRC usage has reduced greatly, it's time to stop using IRC altogether and instead search the internet for answers and ask questions where I'm welcomed. Some internet forums are filled with helpful people.

You can temporarily if you drop a huge rock onto the earth and extinguish 99.9999% of humans on it. You cannot defeat the ocean with cannons, but the sun can evaporate the ocean in the right conditions. This can also push us back into the stone age. Humans have enough nuclear bombs that can wipe out all human settlements. There are also chemical weapons.

AIs might keep humans as pets on planet surfaces just as humans keep other animals as pets. Also, if AIs were conscious of themselves, they would be just more of Leo Gura. When he said more of himself, he included self-conscious AIs. -
Beauty is one among many indicators of good genes. Men are genetically hard-wired to be sexually attracted to beauty partially for that reason. If you want to pass down good genes to your children, beauty without cosmetic surgeries and make-up matters. At least, make sure your spouse doesn't have too many genetic mutations that will hinder your children from functioning as humans in a society. You probably don't want your children to carry more mutational load than you do. Beauty doesn't necessarily improve relationship. But, genes that carry high IQ, high EQ, or beauty can help your children thrive.

That's funny. No pain. No gain. No pleasure. No pain. No pain. No pleasure. -

Do you draw distinction between emotional pain and emotional suffering? TJ Reeves said unnecessary pain is suffering and every pain he experienced was necessary and sufficient to make him what he is today. Do you still feel emotional pain in the moment but prevent that pain from rolling over you for the rest of your day or your week? How do you emotionally deal with nasty criticisms in the moment? -

I don't know. You are supposed to be a spiritual navy SEAL. What was your experience? I guess a millionaire with a few hundred million dollars in one's bank account could deal with a neighborhood bully by hiring a competent lawyer or by isolating oneself in a corporate environment where nobody can bully that millionaire. But, I'm not a millionaire with a fat wallet. -

Does enlightenment help with emotional mastery? I want to deal with criticisms, bullies, and trolls without letting them control my emotions. -
I don't disagree with your statements. I don't hold myself up to an ultimate steady state which is called perfection. As I said above, I think of perfection as the process of getting better, not an ultimate steady state. I know I'm not going to master everything. But, I can kind of master my life. Notice that mastery and improvements are part of reality, and it's also perfection. What's real is that things keep evolving and improving over time and through iterations in the long term. Reality is not stagnant. This is perfect. I think you mean perfectionism or an ultimate steady state when you say perfection. When I say perfection, I mean the process of getting better. Even if you put the majority of your time into one thing and spend a little time on other things, you are still getting better at those other things, too. That's also perfection. For example, I'm learning to shave my face with a straight razor. I don't plan to attain absolute excellence in straight razor shaving, but I'm going to become more perfect at it over time if I keep practicing it. By not trying to attain absolute excellence in straight razor shaving, I can become more perfect at balance. By becoming more perfect at attaining balance, I will excel more in my life. I also plan to become an athlete to improve health and become a more effective person. But, I'm not going to waste my time by trying to become a professional athlete. Becoming an athlete is a mindset. There are also limiting beliefs that make you think you can achieve only this much. You can become a better or more perfect version of yourself by dropping both limiting beliefs and perfectionism.

My take on perfection is that it is the process of getting closer to perfection. Perfection is not a static state. Then, a perfect human being is a human being who always gets better without regression. Am I right? By that definition, if you often experience mental regressions, you are not perfect.
-
It's impossible to reach perfection, but you can become more perfect with practice in many fields. A perfect human being is just a concept for guiding my thoughts around perfection.

@kieranperez I'm trying to think of perfection as a useful concept for self help. Accepting reality and still trying to improve reality is a start point. Attempts at improvements are more effective when you accept reality. I can see it as the perfection/mastery process. Perfection is similar to mastery process. Watch this video to understand what I mean by mastery process. When you stop chasing perfection as a steady state and enjoy the process of mastery, you become more perfect, more functional, or more effective as a human being. I think you can extract useful tips from TJ Reeves if you know what you are looking for. I extract useful tips from various sources including Leo Gura, TJ Reeves, Teal Swan, and Thomas Frank.

Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald was a popular writer in the 20th century. However, he started failing hard once he started obsessing over every little detail of his work. He wanted his novel to be a perfect work of his lifetime and started obsessing over every little detail. As a result of obsessing over detail, he lost confidence and produced a failure. After `The Great Gatsby` failed, he received a barrage of bitchy criticisms and found it very difficult to write novels. He began writing screenplays for hollywood, but he regretted having done so. After just one failure, his wife was admitted to a mental hospital. He succumbed to heavy alcoholism and died at the age of fourty four. A perfectionist quits after one failure. Fitzgerald quit novel writing after one failure. I think what happened to him was that perfectionism ruined excellence and joy. He forgot what it was like to enjoy writing. Mastery process is the opposite of perfectionism. I think mastery process is what leads to real perfection which is the process of getting better and getting closer to perfection. An artist's job is not to be perfect but to create, get better, and enjoy the process.

I have resistance to plugging something up my ass. Other than the plugging aspect, I'm looking forward to psychedelics. Also, finding a psychedelics seller is going to take some time because it's illegal in my country. People of my country think 5-MeO-DMT is as harmful as heroin and cocaine and opium. They draw no distinction between addictive drugs and psychedelics. I want to try psychedelics after I have sufficiently developed myself through meditation, emotional mastery, and curing addiction. -
You're right. When your livelihood is threatened by external factors, you can be stressed out. You could have worked the same hours without pain if there was no threat to your future income.

Currently, I sit on my chair, lean my back on it, and meditate for 20 minutes everyday. It's not very comfortable, but it's not particularly uncomfortable, either. This chair is not designed for comfortable sleeping, but for sedentary work. Meditation is doable for 20 minutes on it, but I find myself often changing my posture on the chair. Some people mentioned meditation cushion and meditation bench. Is it better to meditate on meditation cushion and also meditation bench than it is on my chair?
-
I'm not sure. I'm just trying to deduce a conclusion.

What is karmic impression? Do you mean that you will feel hurt by insults in the moment but will not amplify the pain into the future with your negative thoughts? What do you mean by their pain? The pain of trolls and psychopaths? -

Enlightenment is complete zero? Does it mean non-existence? How can you write comments if you are not thinking? Also, I'm very interested in emotional mastery. How do you deal with internet trolls emotionally? -

To me, everything feels ultimately meaningless such that everything is as good as nothing and nowhere. -
Most people at many stages have a need to feel superior to others. Being at Green has little to do with the need to feel superiority. This applies to bullies, too. Bullies bully others in order to feel superior.
