  1. @Elysian Can you explain the Samadhi concept more clearly? I don't understand your jargon. Do you say I just need to do "do nothing" meditation 2 hours on weekends and 30 minutes ~ 1 hour during weekdays? Every morning, I write down things to do today. I stick to this list everyday. While it helps, obsessive thoughts still leak into my mind.
  2. Thanks. I'll keep doing visualization and positive affirmation. I will change what I visualize and affirm.
  3. You're right. Calling a psychopath a psychopath is a bad idea. The psychopath will use group politics to launch a witch hunt against you and label you as a psychopath, changing the meaning of psychopath as a result. If you tried to purge a psychopath out of a company, the psychopath would label you as a psychopath and falsely accuse you of all the things the psychopath did. You are underestimating psychopaths. Psychopaths do not care whether you feel compassion toward them. You are just a food to them. What you want to do is to collect evidences and present people with object evidences instead of calling a psychopath a psychopath. People will come to their own conclusions. A psychopath cannot wish evidences away.
  4. What I wanted to say was that those psychopaths were not eating people in order to meet their survival needs. Instead, eating human is bad for their survival because they have to not get caught. Pieter Hintjens wrote about this phenomenon. Some psychopaths have broken brains and do things that harm their long-term survival in order to have fun(i.e. satiate their predator instincts) at the moment. Those psychopaths might have brain damage. The damage could be genetic or physical. Hit a psychopath's head hard to incur brain damage, and the psychopath might become a clumsy serial killer who gets caught very soon. I think it is related to the brain parts involved in impulse control such as prefrontal cortex.
  5. They weren't starving. Were they doing it for fun? I guess they are psychopaths. From pure economic perspective, it would be cheaper to just buy food than to murder and eat people. So, it was not done for economic reasons or out of hunger. I heard psychopaths do not feel disgust when they see dismembered body parts.
  6. You definitely sound like an honest devil. Are you trying to make people more honest?
  7. @Leo Gura Do you want to eat human corpse? That's not palatable.
  8. Do you mean the one by Sam Seder? I just watched one of his videos. I think Jordan Peterson will like talking with him. Maybe, I should tell Jordan Peterson about Sam Seder.
  9. I think a post-statist world is possible in some future configurations. To a degree, I understand what you mean by anarchy. An actual post-statist world may not be the kind of anarchy you talked about. To me, a government where basic freedom(my standard of basic freedom is far higher than the current standard) is almost guaranteed is almost as good as your ideal anarchy.
  10. I'm really hyped about Leo's future video about post-modernism!!
  11. @How to be wise Why does your life purpose involve programming? Programming is useful, but not necessarily the way.
  12. I don't know much about sex scandals, but I can say that turquoise doesn't prevent you from enjoying sex. An enlightened person can have and enjoy sex.
  13. I was doing a sort of psychoanalysis with TJ Reeves. He combined a set of psychoanalytic tests into one test called CODE. The result hurts, but it is actually helpful. Not sure if you acknolwedge it as psychonalaysis, but it was helpful. Thanks for recommending psychoanalysis.
  14. Do you still have a human ego? What is your relationship with your ego?
  15. It'd be good to live in your vision. But, your vision doesn't account for psychopaths. Psychopaths do not feel loved. They feel appetite toward humans. They are intraspecies predators that practice wielding power for fun and profit.
  16. Pol Pot ended up removing about a third of cambodians although most of them were serving vital functions in cities. People can evaporate anytime even if they are not expendable. Cambodia is still suffering due to Pol Pot's deeds. About half a million iraqis evaporated during iraq war. ~80% of young men evaporated during world wars. I think expendability as a concept is not very accurate or predictive. Supposedly expendable creatures can outlast non-expendable creatures in some cases. Sometimes, vital creatures are the primary kill targets because they are vital to something.
  17. I don't know. Because my self discipline has only recently become good enough to stave off a lot of procrastinations and distractions, I had been busy dealing with consequences of procrastinations at night or busy distracting myself with various shallow stuff for my entire life. Because I had been a slave to distractions or to consequences of procrastinations, I don't know what to do. I like having free time at night.
  18. If you think that you don't want to live in a shitty house, you imagine a shitty house. When you think that you don't want to get beaten, you imagine others beating you. Law of attraction says you get what you imagine in your mind. Your imagination deletes `not` from your words. Thus, `I don't want to live in a shitty house` becomes `I live in a shitty house` in your imagination. This goes on.
  19. I don't know what you are talking about. Anyway, I'm too tired to think today.
  20. I didn't presume that. I only assumed the reality doesn't care whether or not humans survive. Humans can care about other animals. AIs might care about humans as humans care about animals. To AIs, human rights == animal rights.
  21. @now is forever I haven't learned much about pets. So, I can't define it for you. But, you know what I mean.
  22. I said 'pets'. Pets are not used for scientific experiments or eaten as food or beaten to death for fur. Also, the animals that are eaten or beaten to death for fur don't exactly work. They are merely exploited.
  23. Do you and Leo Gura have different opinions on why one should become enlightened? Why shall I care about enlightenment?
  24. Do you mean that enlightenment by itself doesn't necessarily change how you deal with subtle addictions and distractions?
