It's not spoon-feeding. It's called specific instructions. Lots of people give specific instructions without feeding them to people with spoons. Leo focuses mostly on what is. What works is different from what is. What works can be boiled down to narrower theories and specific instructions.

A hero is someone who puts extraordinary effort into the ordinary stuff for oneself and others. A superhero is a hero who does so at superhuman levels.

If you go to a solo meditation retreat, you don't move for hours. That's not good for health. I meditate for 20 minutes a day because one hour meditation is not good for my neck and my back and my blood flow. If you want to meditate for extended periods of time, involve some bodily movements. A better option is to turn your life into meditation. When you focus on one thing deeply, you are meditating. You can meditate about urges, insecurity, doubt, fear, and uncertainty. You can meditate about your questions, too.

Maybe, a couch like this can help me meditate for one hour. I really need good support in my back and my neck. -
I can understand you. I also found some porns on twitter although they were not exclusively on twitter.

The parts of the brain responsible for an activity is repurposed for activities that you do often Reading a book promotes the brain to develop the parts responsible for focusing on a single task for extended periods of time. The internet promotes the brain parts for distractions. The internet seizes our attention just to scatter it. The internet is built for distraction. You ultimately need discipline, but there are things that make it easier to focus on one thing at a time. Tips to help you get back deep focus Promote healthy activities that build top-down attentional control Like reading books Make some environmental changes that make it easier to shake our bad internet habits When you watch videos on youtube, watch them in fullscreen (I just use uBlock Origin to hide distracting elements. You can also use CSS to blur youtube video list.) Read articles in reader mode so that you don't see distracting UI elements. Limit heavy internet distractions to a certain window of time during a day. (Every day, I allocate 15 minutes to checking emails and notifications.) Hide visual clutter on your desktop and your web browser. For example, bookmark bar. Have more in-depth in-person conversations Watch more movies. Pay attention to it for hours. Don't check phones while watching movies. Commit to longer periods of time doing one thing. Like watching movies and riding a bicycle.

You're doing it wrong. Exercise is important. Not moving for an hour is not particularly a good way to develop yourself. I meditate for 20 minutes. Don't prioritize meditation over health. Although you should push past fear, doubt, anger, and uncertainty in the short term, you should work on reducing them in the long term. Although you should be willing to push past those for many years, reducing their intensity should be done, too. Push for balanced personal development or personal development in all aspects of life. Cross training will develop you faster.

If you avoid them, you cannot develop discipline. Expect to live with them for years, and accept living with them. Once you get used to urge, fear, uncertainty, and doubt, you will make rooms to navigate and develop your life without distractions. When fear, uncertainty, and doubt arise in your mind, tell yourself that they are just a natural part of growing up. It's important to have correct expectations. If you want to develop discipline to a superhero level, this is necessary. Another tip is to not treat yourself after a bit of success or after hard work. Treating yourself prevents you from reaching and raising your true upper limit. Get used to not treating yourself, too. For example, don't treat yourself with ice cream or porn after hours of hard work.

I think Leo explains the secrets behind insights. Maybe, you are so busy writing journal that you forget to ask high quality questions and let them work your mind in the background. At this point, I think that watching (Leo's) personal development videos and actually working through concepts is the best way to grow for me. I also watch TJ Reeves' personal development videos. Leo and TJ are a powerful duo. I had been pretty lazy, but I was doing some sort of cross training and learning across many fields that led to random insights. Once I get the hang of discipline, I am going to become a superhero. I'm getting the hang of discipline. The secret behind discipline is explained in my latest thread.

Have you seen very enlightened buddhist monks? They are not exactly excellent at implementing visions or garnering respect from others in ways that people like Elon Musk are. Although there is some correlation between emotional mastery and enlightenment, you can learn to master your emotions without maximally raising your consciousness. While raising consciousness is good, I decided to prioritize becoming a legend or a superhero. I'm still going to work on raising my consciousness, but I'm going to focus a lot more on becoming stronger mentally, physically, socially, financially, and creatively. I want to push beyond the limits of human creativity. I want to see how far I can push beyond the limits of human form. Psychedelics still have uses for people like me. I will use psychedelics to motivate myself and upgrade my motivations.

Keep asking high quality questions about sex. You will eventually get all the answers in months or years. You just need to collect answers opportunistically.

Live a deathproof life.

Becoming financially stable is not good enough as a motivation. Aim for becoming a mythic superhero. Unless you live an insanely inspired life, you are likely to end up as an uninspired corporate drone. Upgrade your motivation. Find ways to inspire yourself to insane levels.

I think you mean Deep Work by Cal Newport.

I expect those urges to come back again and again for months and years. The urge to eat junk food. The urge to treat myself with food, porn, internet, ... after hard work. The urge to masturbate to porn when I'm horny The urge to randomly browse or search the internet The urge to quit or procrastinate due to fear, uncertainty, and doubt. You would have to settle with mediocrity if you cannot push past fear, uncertainty, and doubt for years and decades. Get used to urges, fear, uncertainty, and doubt. Get used to pushing past them on a daily basis.
-
Shall I expect to have urges to randomly search the internet, eat junk food, waste hours of my precious life on criticism, and so on after many years of proper personal development? What kinds of expectations shall I have about urges? What shall I do if urges hit me while I don't have a certain amount of positive momentum? While I have momentum, it's not that difficult to ward off urges. When I don't, I experience difficult challenges. For now, the only imaginable way to practically ward off urges is to find ways to maintain momentum and remove obvious distractions that I have allowed in my life so far. If I don't remove obvious distractions, it could take more than 4 decades to clean up my mind.

Do you watch porn on twitter?

I feel more connected in an abstract sense. More specifically, I feel more connected in the sense that I do not reject people. I don't feel intimacy physically and emotionally. Perhaps, that's because I spend most of my time in my cave. Being isolated is not healthy.

Don't waste your money and time on university if you just want to learn something as a hobby. If you want to meet young girls, going to university might be helpful. If you pursue more than one life purpose, you are likely to spread yourself too thin to do anything useful. My advice // Train yourself across many aspects of life such as sleeping, food, and relationship. But, have only one life purpose.

Yes in the long term. But, awareness alone doesn't correct everything in a reasonable amount of time. I need a lot more than awareness to correct things in reasonable amounts of time. Plus, it's difficult to maintain awareness over hours. In a competitive game, one needs every competitive advantage.

Vipassana and sadhguru inner engineering sound credible, but I'm skeptical about selfless activity. Selfless activity is not particularly known for improving discipline.

Can you be more specific about it? I want to try specific things.

During world war 2, people added armor to places where airplanes were hit. Actually, vital places were the ones that weren't hit. If vital parts were hit, an airplane wouldn't make it back to the base. Only airplanes that were hit in non-vital places made it back. You look at old buildings of high quality and assume that people used to build houses of higher quality in the past. Actually, high quality houses survived very long, and poorly built houses were scrapped. So, you can't judge the quality of housing of the past just by looking at old survivors. When you look only at survivors, your samples have survivor bias. Look at the whole sample including the failures. By the way, people look at him as if he were a chimp in a zoo.

Leo Gura has had DEEP enlightenment experiences. He still has sexual desires, and he realizes sexual desires are natural and good. The need for sex is not there for me. But, I still feel deep sexual urges. Also consider the possibility that you actually need something other than sex when you feel the need for sex. Perhaps, eating food can quench the need for sex? Do you just need some sort of stimulation rather than sex? Or, is one of your goals to fuck the hottest woman possible?
