If I view that woman as a potential sexual partner, then I may act awkwardly. If I view her as a business partner, I can do fine. Actually, I've interacted with women more naturally after desire to actually have sex vaporized.
-
I may have developed prejudices by meeting a lot of weakly developed women. Usually, weakly developed men and weakly developed women write in distinctive styles. I can distinguish them by style. There are distinctively female writing styles, but I cannot clearly define them. I know them when I read them. Your writing style is neither female or macho. It feels neutral.

I do not see how this can be true. Unless you have examples, I'm going to forget about it. Plus, I don't know whether it's actually suppression. I don't suppress sex on purpose. I'm not going to refuse sex when the opportunity arises, but I'm not going to proactively seek it, either. I'm just not inspired with regard to sex, dating, and marriage. When you are uninspired, sexual desire is not enough to drive you toward exerting tremendous efforts to have sex with hot women. I'm far behind the curve. It's probably going to take a lot of efforts just to get started.

Sexual desire is there, yes. But, the opportunities to have sex won't present themselves unless I put a lot of efforts into it. Unless the activation energy (a chemistry term) is lowered by a catalyst, it is not going to happen. At this point of life, my life has been optimized without sex for decades. Homeostasis is a strong force. Unless opportunities to have sex present themselves, I'm probably going to be distracted by other things. I think it's possible that I go all out on my life purpose and forget about sex for the rest of my life. I'm already busy figuring out how to launch my career.

If you haven't had sex for more than 3 decades, desire for sex vaporizes, and I feel that it's too much hassle with a lot of risk and little upsides. When I was in my early 20s, I was curious about sex. Not anymore. If you kept up with your good food habits or have quit smoking for more than 10 years, would you ever think about eating junk food or smoking cigarette? Sex, cigarette, junk food, etc, ... are the same from a mind's perspective. If you don't do it for long periods of time, you simply stop wanting it. You stop thinking about them.
-
But, if you quit masturbation and have no sex, you are going to have wet dreams and wet your underwear. I hate wetting my underwear. I don't have a sex partner or a girl friend. I don't pay for a prostitute, either. You have a wife. I don't. I don't think I'm going to have sex anytime soon. I choose masturbation because it is a cheap realistic option. I just tightly regulate when I masturbate. I decided to masturbate once or twice on sunday every two weeks so that I don't waste any more time and energy on it than necessary. Plus, masturbation feels good. If there is no guarantee that you would ever have sex, porn is a realistic option. If you are not going to have sex anyway, amazing sex doesn't matter. I think it's possible that I could die as a virgin. Don't mistake me with an incel. I'm not an incel. I just have more urgent priorities than chasing women and having sex. You can't have sex while metaphorically running away from a tiger.

My acceptance is far from being unconditional. I still have a lot of selfish agenda. I just have a little less of it than I used to, but I can still feel the little difference. Only god is capable of unconditional love. I'm not. I see threats, and I feel the need to protect myself from threats. By the way, are you a woman? Judging by your profile picture, you seem to be, but you don't write like most women that I've encountered in my life. You could be a man who uses a female profile picture. My profile picture on youtube used to be a cute anime girl. Perhaps, I'm wasting too much time on this forum. I may try not visiting this forum for a while.

Yesterday, I was distracted by youtube, and I turned youtube into a monastery. If it's out of vision, it goes out of mind. This is my youtube home. All videos are hidden. This is a youtube channel. All youtube video lists are hidden. This is a youtube video. You can see that the comments are collapsed into one line called "SHOW MORE" and there is no suggested video. I achieved this with ImprovedTube and uBlock Origin ImprovedTube extension Appearance -> Sidebar -> Related videos = Hidden Appearance -> Comments = Collapsed uBlock Origin Options -> My filters (This contains cosmetic filters that hide UI elements on web pages.) You can show UI elements temporarily by disabling cosmetic filtering in uBlock Origin. I personally never need to see lists of videos on youtube home page. uMatrix // This adds another layer of protection I can temporarily unblock youtube by clicking the upper half of "1st-party" twice.

Think of Spiral Dynamics as a score board where each stage has sub-components, each of which has a score. You can average the scores of sub-components to get the score for a stage. -
The purpose is to hide suggested videos. I only temporarily display video lists in youtube channels because I sometimes need to. Video lists on youtube home page and youtube videos are traps.

It's not a movie. It's educational videos. I care about blind spots and biases when I learn educational materials such that I know how to complement weaknesses with other learning materials.

Leo's videos often focus on general topics. General topics like journaling and purpose of life can adjust your mindset and have tangible effects in the long term. However, they are often too general to be effective in the short term. The problem is that if you remain clueless and keep backsliding in the short term, you can easily screw up personal development in the long term. It's also often too general for a person's specific circumstances. There are specific ways to work on certain areas of life. Most people are similar to each other. For example, how can one build proper foundation in various aspects of each stage of Spiral Dynamics? How to build proper Green idealism? Which areas of life should people pay attention to? What are specific concrete ways to work on those areas of life? Talking about specific instructions to improve areas of your life can sound restrictive, but it can help in many cases. I understand that Leo doesn't have enough time to cover every topic and prefers to speak about generic topics. Thus, if you want instructions that are more specific, search for other personal development teachers. I find that specific personal development topics dovetail well with Leo's general topics. When long-term personal development meets short-term personal development, I see powerful results. Leo prefers to live in isolation. So, there may be some biases when he talks about relationship topics. He told us that he had problems with asking help to co-workers when he had a job. That was because he wanted radical responsibility. So, relationship may be one of Leo's blind spots. A personal development teacher who maintains deep relationships could talk about society differently because one's view about relationships can affect one's view about society. Contrast Leo with other teachers so that you become aware of biases. Leo has relatively conservative biases in personal development. He expects to become unable to work at 65 so that he can finish all his major projects by the age of 65. That's a conservative estimate. He tries not to scare people by talking about things conservatively. But, that can be less inspiring than inspiring people to become superheroes. As he said, losing 5 pounds doesn't inspire much, but losing 50 pounds inspires people a lot. He doesn't advocate going all out on personal development, but going all out can be inspiring.

I don't think statistics is relevant because the scores are not relative to the population. Your scores don't go up just because the average of the population goes down. I think SAAFE is a good measure of spiral dynamics. I haven't seen other tests that do this extensively and as well.
-
A more accurate model for Spiral Dynamics is a score board. You can have low scores across tier 1. Each stage has sub-subcomponents. Each sub-component has a score. You can average sub-components to measure the score at each stage. You may have incredibly low scores at Purple and mediocre scores at Orange. Your Green scores may be higher than your Beige scores. Low scores are unhealthy. Let's say each score is on the scale from 0 to 100. 70 is minimally satisfactory. For example, does Sam Seder actually have high Green scores? I don't think so. He's seen demonizing a lot of people. This means his compassion score is below 70. You can also develop yourself across tier 1 and tier 2 simultaneously if you are aware of sub-components of each stage.

It's called SAAFE. TJ Reeves created the test. I have SAAFE report that tells me scores.

There are two meanings for realization. Making something materialize Figuring out something Which one is it?
-
Explain?
-
So, self-immolation is only intensity of some stimulation?
-
Do you have bad ego?
-
That's bold statements without results.
-
I've learned better theories. I think TJ Reeves is substantially better. I think you place too much importance on a single piece of personal development. I don't resonate with your approach. What is your track record? Do you stick to regular sleep schedule? Do you meditate everyday? How good is your discipline? How many hours do you exercise a week? How capable are you of creating innovative ideas in your field of work? Do you have impressive muscles?
-
No. I just wanted to share Leo's blind spots and biases. For example, the fact that he is a lone wolf already injects biases into his comments and his videos.
-
I think it's Leo's style. Although every person's maze is different, most people's mazes are similar. That's why specific instructions or narrow concepts can work for most people although they are not general concepts. For example, sleep is not a general concept, but it applies to everyone. You can boil sleep down to a few key principles or rules that most people can apply easily. In a recent video, Leo boiled resourcefulness down to a matter of asking a lot of high-quality questions consistently over time. As Leo explained, different teachers have different preferences for cons and pros of each approach.

I usually use vision logic or vision thinking when I motivate myself. Critical thinking is counterproductive when I want motivation. Critical thinking is but a minor piece in the big picture of personal development. Critical thinking alone can easily make you depressed and distract you from the big picture. It is not enough. There are other things like relationship, sleep, water, food, breathing, drive, power, respect, discipline, vision, resourcefulness, money mindset, creativity, etc, ... Going all out means developing yourself in all of those areas of personal development to superhuman levels. It will take many years. But, that's what I'm aiming. For example, just by improving sleep, food, water, exercise, breathing, and relationship, you gain a lot more clarity than you would by focusing on critical thinking. So, I don't focus much on critical thinking.

Little goals like saving a day at McDonald's don't motivate me at all. Personally, I aim to become a mythic superhero in my field of work. To me, the alternative to aim ridiculously high is to live an uninspired life. Lesser goals aren't worth heroic efforts. You can find superheroes in marvel movies. Real-life superheroes would be superhuman in their human abilities including discipline, resourcefulness, charisma, etc, ... They would also want to help others unlike supervillains who would use their superhuman abilities to their own selfish ends. I think this explanation is detailed enough. I think you have doubts about using superhero as a powerful tool of personal development. If you are against this idea, it's likely that you are going to keep doubting or questioning. I don't feel like convincing a person who is going to keep questioning. Leo will not mention superhero. That's not his style. Different people say different things. It's diversity. I don't want him to change his style. I merely wanted him to be aware of his biases.
