  1. What is your definition of better?
  2. There are a lot of things you do to hold yourself back. There are also a lot of things that you can do to increase intelligence, mastery, and other aspects of personal development.
  3. You're perfect, but you can do better.
  4. If I were him, I would figure out and then prepare for life purpose while on that government job because it required very little work from him. I would secretly prepare life purpose on work hours. His Orange regressed or didn't improve at all. His Green also didn't improve much. Being tired of a meanigless but cushy job can happen at any stage.
  5. I think if you want to become the best version of yourself, you have to learn to hold yourself accountable without external pressure. If you become lazy without external pressure, once you make it to the top, you will be taken down by others very soon.
  6. I think you assume a specific kind of social organization. In north korea which is a kleptocracy, bureaucrats just take businesses from entrepreneurs they don't like by sending soldiers. I think money is not everything in hierarchies.
  7. By love, I mean acceptance and growth. I accept and love more than I used to. Yet, I do not feel or express intimacy. In the past, I used to be able to express intimacy. I have come to accept lack of intimacy a long time ago. I must have done personal development wrong.
  8. I took SAAFE which TJ Reeves created. SAAFE report shows me a score board where I can see scores for sub-components of each stage of Spiral Dynamics. The scores are on the scale from 0 to 100. 0-50 is red flag. 60 is coping with life. 70 is minimally satisfactory. 80 is satisfactory. Above 90 is excellent. By analyzing the scores, I realized that my scores are evenly low except at Beige. My Beige scores are not satisfactory, either. That's why I have been backsliding over and over. I thought I was at Orange. I will make plans to raise scores across the board as fast as possible. I guess many people may mistakenly believe that they are at Orange or Green or Yellow because they don't know their scores.
  9. That would be me. But, my Orange is weakly developed. I think Yang values liberty and autonomy more than other presidential candidates.
  10. Being born as a gay is a choice to be born as a gay? Did I choose to be born as a lazy guy?
  11. You take freedom and rights for granted. They won't be automatically given to you.
  12. In the final episode of game of thrones, tyrion lannister said there is nothing more powerful than a good story. Nothing can stop it. Nothing can defeat it. Communism is a delusion but a good story. Muslim terrorists have a good story.
  13. Is Absolute just another perspective or the sum total of all perspective or something else entirely?
  14. You also need a good job. If you had a terrible job to maintain all that, you can easily become unhappy. Leo Gura has a good job.
  15. The fact that the thread creator doesn't want to be a part of hierarchy doesn't mean the postor denies social hierarchy. You can become an independent force that floats around hierarchies. You don't have to follow orders from hierarchies to interact with them. Living outside hierarchies is possible when you make money as an independent artist like Leo Gura.
  16. If I eliminated all excuses, I would just say I don't have much interest in sex, dating, and marriage. I'm far more interested in my life purpose.
  17. I talked with a gay man. He said their sexual preferences never change. So, in practice, sexual preferences don't change. I'm not playing a victim. I am perfectly fine with my sexual preference.
  18. If aging is not cured, I would rather die alone than marry someone. If it is cured, I can easily wait for hundreds of years until I figure out life and start considering sex. As I wrote before, I don't feel a need to marry. I'd rather get a kick in the nut than do it in a hurry.
  19. That doesn't mean gays are going to become bisexual or heterosexual due to environmental changes.
  20. I choose to love my computer and my speakers and my life purpose. Because you have hard time accepting what men are attracted to. What men and women are attracted to is out of everyone's control. No one has control. If you think you can control it, you will be disappointed.
  21. Of course not. But, we are attracted to physically attractive genes that are passed down generations. Whether you like it or not, men and women are going to care about passing the best genes possible down MANY generations. To pass your genes down many generations, you need money, power, physical advantages, resourcefulness, etc, ... which have to come from somewhere. Genes account a lot for physical attractiveness, intelligence, discipline, impulse control, etc, ... If you ever cared about making children, you cannot escape the physical advantage of waist-hip ratio of 0.6 ~ 0.8 which men are attracted to. Nothing, not even me, can stop me from being attracted to waist-hip ratio of 0.6~0.8. I know that you don't like evolution. I didn't like it either at first. But, it is going to be what it is for many years ahead. People's love is not unconditional.
  22. First, hot women are real women. Second, I don't feel sexually attracted to roughly 93~95% of young women I encounter on streets. I feel really attracted to less than 0.5% of them. I don't feel sexually attracted to every man. My sexual preference is narrow and specific. Third, I don't care much about intelligence in women. Rather, I care far more about discipline and loyalty than intelligence in a woman if she's going to be my wife. I mean I care more about balanced personal development than intelligence. For me, appearance is the primary attractor with personal development as the secondary. Poor personal development is a repellent. If I really wanted to marry someone in a reasonable amount of time, I could probably settle with a mediocre woman. But, I am ok with waiting for hundreds of years before I begin to consider sex and dating.
  23. That's an unchecked assumption. That might be true for you. You don't know that for everyone. 99% of women I encounter look just plain to me, and my business model requires discipline a lot more than interpersonal skills. Even if there is a business partner, business will be conducted online without seeing face most of the time. It's just not going to be important enough as a factor to consider.
