  1. Ideologies and movements are distractions to life purpose.
  2. Arete is more powerful.
  3. That is too long. It can be summarized as "What you can be, you must be". It's also known as arete.
  4. My mind is foggy right now, but I can understand this. I'm not a donkey, then.
  5. I doubt that I really understand truth.
  6. I guess you are right. If I have doubts, I don't get it, yet.
  7. Hahahaha..... you order him to get better. That's like telling the cancer to die.
  8. I'm not sure about that. But, there are many things you can do everyday that improve health. Improving water consumption, food habit, exercise, and sleep helps with any health issues. Also, reducing body fat can help, too since he is overweight. I also read that sleeping for 6 hours a day instead of 7 hours a day can decimate the effectiveness of immune system that he needs to fight cancer. What I learned from observation is that people often cause their own sickness through bad habits. They are their own worst enemies. My sister injured her heel by just walking in mildly sloped shoes. She injured herself by not having a sense of balance on sloped shoes. Regular exercise can develop a sense of balance. She often neglects to move her body.
  9. Am I deceiving myself that I understand truth?
  10. You can start with a low amount of basic income. Alaska is doing it. Basic income can start its life as a supplement to minimum wage. Instead of raising minimum wage incrementally, increase basic income incrementally. For example, instead of raising minimum wage from 12$ per hour to 15$ per hour, give basic income commensurate to 3$ per hour. Assuming 40-hour work week, the work hours are 160 hours per month. This translates into 3 x 160 = 480$ per month.
  11. This is a meme, not a high consciousness resource.
  12. As you said in your videos, love and consciousness are more important than the left wing and the right wing.
  13. TJ Reeves is a black man and concluded that what seems like systemic discrimination against the black people is actually favoritism among people who already have various advantages. If you are a white man in a rich white neighborhood, you want to help your nephew or your white friends who helped you get a job in the past. Favoritism is a human instinct. He concluded that black people need to get their shit together and help each other rather than drag each other down. He is preparing to infiltrate the US government and help black people and other kinds of people, too. I think this is a plausible explanation. When one group tends to drag each other down and another group tends to raise each other up, it seems that there is systemic discrimination against the former group.
  14. There are many possibilities. The librarian was a single woman, and the black lawyer was a hot man. She was just looking for an excuse to talk to him. If he was the only white lawyer in a room full of black lawyers, the librarian could have asked his identification, too.
  15. The lesson I learned from Jordan Peterson is that there are so many lies that it's hard to trust any one group regardless of their political positions. There are lies upon lies upon lies. All online political activist groups I visited talked about manipulating public opinions for identity survival regardless of their political positions. Their manipulation tactics eroded trust. Trust is not easy.
  16. I once read about https://www.eff.org/ and some environmental advocacy groups captured by psychopaths. A former president of EFF wrote about internal psychopath infection. Some books about psychopaths present examples of psychopaths who disguise as activists or muslims in order to utilize other people as shield or weapon. No political movement is immune to psychopathy, yet. A person doesn't have to be a psychopath to lie. Since lies are widespread, I think there are people who pretend to advocate progressivism and whatnot. I tend to see a lot of fakery. Lies are so widespread that I lie to myself without knowing. It's hard to believe others when it's difficult to trust myself.
  17. Corporations that proudly advertise that its employees enjoy autonomy give little autonomy to employees. Movements that advocate progressivism, tolerance, and diversity push the opposite. Devils flip the truths. That's why I don't believe empty words. Actions speak louder than words. Oftentimes, a devil advertises something because the devil doesn't have it. If you really had it, you wouldn't need to market it fiercely. A good product sells itself effortlessly and doesn't need aggressive marketing campaigns. That means if you are progressive and tolerant, you wouldn't need to aggressively advertise that you are progressive and tolerant. Some marketing is necessary, but aggressive marketing campaigns are fishy. How do I recognize the devil? One hint is that a devil prioritizes survival of some identity over love and consciousness. Devils can also lie about being virtuous or loving. If you look for fake love and fake virtue, you can find it after some training.
  18. For the last few years, I slid back again and again after trying to force myself to work. I realized forcing myself to work cannot be sustainable for more than two weeks. Forcing myself to do something creates a lot of friction which is counterproductive. Thus, I decided to research laziness by allowing myself to be lazy. I had been consciously lazy for a few weeks. Eventually, I became sick of being lazy and came up with a few keys to sustainable productivity. Do no-distraction meditation throughout each day. Don't allow yourself to be distracted by addictive things or any major distractions. Allow yourself to do something productive, but don't force yourself to do it. If you don't feel like doing something productive, just walk around or drink water or do light exercises. Sedona method is going to automatically kick in. After working productively for a while, taking a break for 5~10 minutes and doing light exercises refreshes my mind and makes me want to do something productive again. Low-effort hack This means just showing up at work without committing yourself to do the work to completion. If you want to work out, just show up at a gym. You are going to take care of yourself once you show up at a gym. Just show up. Don't burden yourself with the need to do the work well. Even if you don't feel like doing it, you can at least show up. Once you show up, momentum is going to take care of you. You can use the initial seed of momentum to build more momentum. I just show up and warm up by doing the work a little bit. If I feel like doing more, I do more. After showing up, if I don't feel like doing it, I just warm up more by working frivolously without expecting any result. Warming up more works well. Pomodoro technique Pomodoro is simply a 25-minute work session followed by 5 minute break. After 4 pomodoro sessions, take 10 minute break. I use pomodoro as a low-effort hack. Build up short-term momentum and long-term momentum. Everyday, after you wake up, you build up short-term momentum by first showing up and slowly warming up. As you build up momentum over weeks and months, you build up long-term momentum. With a lot of long-term momentum, building short-term momentum each day becomes far easier. With a lot of long-term momentum, you can do a lot of work and push yourself beyond your comfort zone more often. Use momentum and discipline to build more discipline. While you keep yourself at work, build discipline. It's going to take years to build a high level of discipline. It's going to help in the long run. To kickstart the process requires some amount of discipline and awareness.
  19. A different word for low-effort hack is warming up. Before you put a lot of effort, you first warm up. Lazy people start with low-effort work and ramp up to high-effort work over time.
  20. What do you mean by "itself"? Does it include me?
  21. Why would you boil a human skull for dinner? I hate eating human skull. That's worse than monkey brain which some chinese people eat. If you are spiritually advanced, why would you rape and eat a human? This reminds me of hannibal lecter. It seems that they belong in prison.
  22. Some people are clinically retarded to the point where they cannot help themselves or maintain a part time job. Some people are too sick to help themselves. Good luck with teaching responsibility to clinically retarded people. Fortunately, we have tools to build great lives for ourselves. I just have been too lazy to do just that.
  23. As far as I know, US federal government sets the minimum price of private health care to a high point. That's why medicare is so expensive. That's why insurance companies can rip off people with poor insurances that cost a lot but cover little. US government works for and subsidizes insurance companies instead of people. If US government stopped setting the minimum price, medicare can become a lot better than it is now.
  24. The accurate term for medicare for all is single-payer healthcare. The government is the sole payer with single-payer helathcare. The sole payer has a lot of leverage to cut down prices.
