  1. I'll look at the supplements part. It's just something I read about not caring, was the topic and it made sense to me then I thought what's the point in caring?
  2. Hi everyone so for the last couple months I have just stopped caring about almost everything. Why? I just thought to myself "What's the point in this?", there are so many things which I don't see the point in, so I won't make an effort, on one hand this is good because I have made life easier. But I feel depressed recently as I have stopped caring. I don't know why this is, I feel confused not sure why but I do. My logic was "the more I cared the harder I made my life for no reason", so I stopped caring about a lot of things but it's come with it's downside. What should I do?
  3. I have this issue of constant research, if I need to learn a new skill I will just read on it endlessly and read a ton of books, courses you name it. And when I try to implement the information I'll google what I'm after and read a blog on what I'm after and I feel like there is no information that I can implement so I go to get books in hopes of finding this information, but still run into the same issue. I hear its called analysis paralysis, I don't know why this happends. It's obviously a habit because I do it over and over. So why does this happen and what is a step by step process that I can follow to end this? I think I do have uncertainties when learning something, I want to make sure that I learn in the best way possible. I do have a fear and that's the fear that I am doing it wrong.
  4. @YaNanNallari Hey, so you are trying to say it's not something that really motivated me in the first place? It's weird because it did motivate me for a short time but then I quickly gave up. But changing it, I don't give up.
  5. So I used to have the motivation of money and success and it got me nowhere, every time something was hard I'd give up. But when I changed it, suddenly my life improved. Just wondering why is this? Is it because money isn't a good motivator?
  6. Yes its interesting. But it has nothing to do with the interest of the topic. I'm not doing something right but I just can't figure it out.
  7. I've had this problem forever. Whenever I want to try to learn to do something almost whatever it is, I always get stuck immediately. I would start looking for tutorials googling it for hours, but never to find one that suited me. Like one thing that frustrates me is if I'm searching how to do something and it says "Make sure you do this", or "Include this" but never shows an example, and I'm thinking "How am I supposed to make this perfect if I don't have an example?". But even when I do have an example, it doesn't suit my exact scenario now this is understandable but just leaves me frustrated not knowing what to do. How can I defeat this issue already? I always feel like I need help and that I can't learn by my self, I hate that. I want to be self sufficient and not always relying on others to constantly help me, it just makes me feel useless.
  8. @Sahil Pandit I see so its asking my self in scenarios "Can I go without this?". Is this correct?
  9. So I always read about delaying gratification, I do look for cheaper alternatives in life for example I want my dream car and technically I could take out a loan and buy it now, but I know its not a good thing to do, so instead I'll get a cheaper car. I try to think with the end in mind. But what about things like for example you feel like having a coffee or buying chocolate in the shopping centre or something like that? Should you always say no, to practice gratification or does it depend on your goals? I read something that said not to reward your self until you earned It , like for example I can't have that piece of chocolate until I complete my project.
  10. @thehero Thank you for the advice.
  11. I am quite interested in the self help book department, I've read a lot of books. How should I implement what I have learnt in the best way possible? I assume the whole point of help self books is to become the best version of your self, which is what I am trying to do. Should I be settings goals from what I have learnt? Or should I take notes of what I have learnt and just try to apply every concept that I learn provided that its who I want to become? I had the idea of making a checklist of applying everything, this way I don't forget and I make it a habit to do all these things.
