@tsuki yes that’s another perspective - manipulation for me is artistry, if i manipulate a cup into being what is it other than art, shaping the cup. but you can’t shape the cup without learning to use your tools. i use the term manipulation therefore as a neutral term - you can shape everything differently, it is about shaping it the way you can like it and still drink from it. and if you can make a cup out of mud you can make it out of a lot of material. even the poisoning ones. the artist can only shape him/herself. am i digging a hole? or are you digging holes? as long it is not a graveyard to hide corpses away into! (that’s actually a metaphor from a really horrible real life story) so better bringing light to the construction site. might be a lion‘s den or a corps hideout.

if controll is part of karma, i try to be not a controller by trying to be a manipulator instead. the term sounds bad but can be seen in different light when we realize - there is no way in not leaving footprints - karma will always get back at you even if it’s just for being - so there must be a way to interact with the world without producing controller karma. and it might be helpful to understand why bodhisattvas and hindu gods have more than one hand - because they are manipulaters, too . (instead of controllers) because my manipulation was mostly about manipulating my physical sourrounding (i‘m not really a mind manipulater, especially not a will manipulater but i tried to manipulate myself, now i have better tools ) so because of that i have always thought it was about having your hands everywhere in your sourrounding - but now i get, it’s about holding the right tools. and that is: holding the right tools to manipulate your mind into holding the right tools and holding the tools right. i learned that because my juggling method didn’t work out - i have to relearn juggling now. differently. that‘s the only ladder i have at the moment. and i also brought a lantern. thank you @Zweistein and @tsuki and thanks to the cat.

so what is the karma cat? the karma cat is about the footprints we leave on the world. the karma cat is about backlashing into addictions or unhealthy behavior. the karma cat is about harvesting the fruits of the seeds we‘ve planted. the karma cat is partly our subconciousness and partly the outside world. the karma cat is where actions and thoughts and happenings come together and build new momentum. the cat can hit back very hard and fast or can purr you into elysium. karma is everywhere and we interact with karma of others and integrate it to some extend if we want it or not. for me karma is part of the spirit of a person but it is nothing unchangeable and nothing completely predicted. we are what we are because we are who we are. and we might not become everything we want to be but we can aim into a direction. and we can become different from what we thought we would be ( we can be in a way where it feels good and a way where it doesn’t ) it‘s all about changing directions. this is not about lions even though they might have karma, too.

@Bryan Lettner if we would leave the money issue out for a while, how could the midichlorian count look like? it would not be just iq and eq would it? how would you measure on what side of the power someone stands? or would you delete that concept completely? for example how to measure the level of corruption in a person? or their shadow side, do you want complete soul transparency? one of the biggest problems is to measure the side one is in isn’t it - by all medichlorian count’s- those are the things that really count.

the european union system is also basically non democratic because the judicative is elected by the governments of the single countries what makes them preoccupied. but more than that it is per definition a violation against the historical idea of division of powers. the roots of a modern democratic system. yes judges should be unbiased and as neutral as possible, without political history and no connections to politicians as well as they should be not corruptible. but unfortunateley is those shoulds were given up. not that the politicians who did that don’t know - they should know, that’s their job.

usually i think most slightly political interested people in europe are concerned about who is sitting in the white house but often not so much with the details. we get the midterm election in the news and for many people that’s it. can we influence something - no of course not, so why bother too much. but it doesn’t mean we are not interested with the bigger picture. europe is more open to socialist views because even west europe had socialist parties all along even during the cold war. in some countries there are even moderate kommunist parties - they have a long tradition. as well as there are so many different forms of democracies in all european countries. switzerland is extremely interesting for example regarding poll systems. but yes we have our own problems as well, and we have been codependent for a long time. how interested are american people in european elections? i think that’s why europeans act out arrogantly sometimes. anf i like this thread very much.

@Jol356 no - never. i mean i have seen some, just happened. but cat videos are similar to porn just in another direction, it trains other happiness centers than porn. i‘m not sure if it will work - but maybe it is something to slowly disconnect from the addiction. and after a while you could maybe even stop that. it was with a mild but who knows. happiness is happiness isn‘t it. and karma is karma. the quality just differs.
