@Water There is not much you can do to demonstrate your hard work or prove to them anything. You're on 2 different levels. However, if you'll be understanding and fare to them they will appreciate and slowly grow next to you weather you want it or not. The key is not try to prove anything even though you might want it the most at times...Have fun, at some point you'll realize that they re like kids who need guidance, care and passion.

You need to find a reason behind loosing interest and depending on the reason make a next step. Example: let's say you got depressed cause you couldn't find your life-purpose. Understand, it's not easy. Most people never find it throughout whole life. There are lots of changes within you need to happen to get there. Start with making yourself happy without harming others...than make people around you happy. I know it might sound stupid but it should help much to bring you back to life. Some people consider not moving toward self actualization is a short death...consider it and think if you really want to die even for a some time

@Algi Perceiving some higher ideas doesn't mean you can't be understanding and compassionate about your family or friends interests, ideas and so on. You can realize they are on a different level from you and plant a seed for them to start looking at same things from a bit different perspective. No need for dramatic explanation to them how they are not body and mind but nothing more than nothingness. You can just point out to them things which help them to do next step in their life and have interesting discussion there as well. I actually found to be more close to my family after raising my conciseness and could better feel them and find common topics for discussion.

TruthSeeker, you remind me of myself many years ago. Keep it up man. It's Ok you don't have all the answer today or you feel different from what Leo's video stating. We're all different and have various ideas of who we truly are. In fact I can give you a different explanation which your mind will like much better and it will feel more right, but guess what? It will not make you more self actualize or self-aware. All it will do is just satisfy ego questions but won't do any good to your higher self. Get to the practice and start experience it all for yourself. You won't be able to get beyond some point by just listening what other says. You get some ideas here but most of your work is your own practice. So shut your mind and go meditate, do some chakras related work, clean food and thoughts, see how you can be more aware and conscious about Universal laws and live by those laws. Live in the present moment as often as you can with focusing your awareness on just 1 task you have in this present moment...

@bazera you're totally right. There are people who drink occasionally and there are alcoholics. Alcoholic can't get to the state of occasional drinker - doesn't work. He'll become alcoholic again. The only way is to fully quit and never come back to it. Keep it up MAN!

@Ayla your thinking would be more appropriate to more advanced world. In the world we born, most of human learn to appreciate money and power and are affected by fear. For 99% of human there is an urge to make lots of money. At some point it becomes an urgency to multiply money and eventually it will be an emergency that all these money can't bring you enough power to do 1 thing or another. If you take random 1000 people and offer them 1 million dollars or self-actualization, I'll be surprised if even 1 of them will choose second.

He is pretty solid. All he says is pretty much based on his experience and pretty much is in alignment with the idea of enlightenment.

I double that. Experiences I've had are very similar to what Emerald describes. You have a state of absolute happiness just because you exist and everything around you seems to make sense. You're highly aware of where you're and what you need to do and these are just such strong feelings that your mind doesn't even bother to question things it would normally question sending you millions signals. It becomes quite, and you're in a pure state of feeling and understanding everything around you starting with a small stone and ending with the whole Universe.

I had similar experience on shrooms 20 years ago or so, it's really an eye opener if you just relax and let it be the way it's...no thinking analyzing or any other crap brain does... really helps in the beginning to grasp how different live can be....

If material world, You and free will doesn't exist, how can One become enlightened? Does enlightment experience exist and if so who is to experience it? someone who doesn't exist?

Can One even define in words what it means to be enlightened? If yes, let's entertainment continue... but if not, how can something without meaning or definition be discussed on the forum?

@Kelley White It's nice to communicate with you as well. No need to thank me. I don't think you understood my comment, but it's normal. YOU - divine you, isn't the same as your body or your mind. All that, described above, comes from your mind and includes emotions, some of them are stronger than others. All this is heavy and leaves very little room for YOU. YOU - lives outside of time, emotions and other things created by society (or you can call it matrix). Divine YOU isn't known for most of us, just because the way we're raised and all the garbage pushed to us from different channels. And there is a reason for that which you can understand later, but let's try to keep it clear for you and get to important part. YOU - needs to be discovered, listened and followed to be happy. And I'm not talking about temporary happiness like when you eat chocolate or having sex, junky food and so on... I'm talking about constant joy you can live with throughout life. It can't be described and need to be experienced. However, to get there you need to think and apply what needs to be done to make all the luggage gone and you will see that suddenly YOU will be discovered. You will need to apply coordinal changes on perception to YOU, you(your body and mind) and life. It's possible to do it 'Right Now' and not to wait for the future. The idea is to work on self development and realize what YOU really is all about. After that, work on overwriting your subconscious mind with negative and not needed for YOU. It's not easy but you go step by step and if you can at least identify how much garbage you have inside your mind ,you'll be already ahead of 99+% of the world population.

Can your heart be just an organ and soul or intuition or whatever ppl call it is what you referring to? You'd listen to what you trust most and most of us don't have intuition developed to the level they can trust.
