  1. @cetus56 thank you lol that was cute:) kids really are the only ones who can believe so wholeheartedly. It is beautiful.
  2. @Nahm lol my husband was giving me the same speach yesterday. That I need to just have fun with it.
  3. @Nahm thank you that's really beautiful and I want to express all of what you said through my music I will remember that and do my best to hold onto it
  4. @Peaches9 hey, just want to say that based solely off of what I've read, it sounds like you need to stop blaming yourself.. you aren't making him flirt with other women, HE is making that choice. You aren't the only one that needs to make the relationship work. If your therapist hasn't pointed this out, then either you aren't being completely open and honest with them, or you need to get a better therapist. I wish I knew some literature to recommend, but I honestly don't read too much lol Maybe try to have a private counceling session, just you and the Dr. So you can express your concerns and tell him how you are really feeling without you husband glaring down on you. As far as your job. When I start to hate my job and especially if it were to ever get as far as bullying in the workplace (which you should report to your supervisor or their supervisor) I would think it's time to maybe switch jobs... Love yourself girl! I promise you are more amazing then you currently think you are you just have to believe it. I know it's hard, believe me. If relationships were easy, there'd be no divorce. You need to love yourself before you will be able to love others. You can't give what you don't have I'm here for you if you need to vent or anything I'm only 24 so I will not say I'm in any way an expert. But I'm a great listener (Sorry for the long post!)
  5. Lol my husband would probably go to church if they did that lol I was never taught God is all or stuff like that. I will say my view point of "who" He is has definitely changed over the years. And I'd probably wager it'll change in the future as I learn more. Right now, I believe He is an all powerful, all knowing being that created everything down to the very design and functions of molecules. He made a system of how things would work and then gave us free will which allowed for evolution in everything. My husband gave me the best metaphor for it. He's a clockworker God. He designed the clock and every cog and gear (no clue what clocks are made of lol) but once He turns the clock on, He just lets it run and do its thing That's at least the way I see Him for now
  6. @Applejuice Lol my church is definitely NOT for it lol I think that's where I get my insecurities about it.
  7. @ctzonka I was diagnosed with it back in high school. I do believe it is a real diagnosis. I thought my issue was Bipolar disorder but was informed that the main difference was that there is usually a pattern to Bipolar Disorder as opposed to BPD where the individual has no control over their mood swings and they can last for the most random amounts of time. If you follow my posts you probably could see what I mean. Today I am feeling very good and energized. My goal is to try and hold on to that. But like I said, you can't really control it. I've been triggered into depression by the most random things. I think that is one of the key differences between Bipolar and BPD. I hope I was able to help in any way Praying for you!
  8. I don't think it's weird or crazy at all Personally, when I smoke I think about God and spirituality a lot I think I feel my closest to Him when I'm singing praises to Him while high lol I use to (and occasionally still do) think it was a contradiction to worship this way, but it can't be too bad if I feel close to Him, right? lol
  9. Yeah I don't really know anything about Buddha, but I think Jesus definitely was able to make a difference as far as changing the way a lot of the societies back then thought and treated laws. Also, He was able to show us the way to live a truly Christian life through Him and love. But I can understand if some people are unable to see the good through the bad. I mean we call them pessimists for a reason lol
  10. @MarkusSweden Yes, I understand I know when it comes to the music industry, depending on how "big" you want to get, there may be a level of selling out you might have to do to get to where you want to be (like singing absolute crap just to make yourself known) I'm not looking to be Madonna famous or anything lol I just want to be out there enough to be heard and in a position to really make a change Like I said in a reply to another post, I think it is really disgusting to have so many people with the money and power to fix every inch of this world but they feel the need to donate the bare minimum (even if it's $1,000,000) I don't feel it's right. They don't need there vacation homes or 5 cars. It's just sad to me. I watched a Bob Hope special and he talked about how important it was to give back. But I feel even he didn't go far enough. You can get fancy stuff if you have the money, of course. You worked for it. But I think ONE Rolex is enough lol and whatever is left over, belongs to your community. They wouldn't be where they are if it wasn't for us. And the World needs their help. Sorry, I started to ramble a little bit there. lol
  11. @BjarkeT wow thank you I know how to read sheet music and I know a good amount of music theory lol although I do need to master those some more. It's been a while since I had to use it (7 years ?) but I will definitely look into all of those links and courses
  12. @Tom Daniel D First off, I think it's absolutely beautiful that you want to make a big difference. I have felt the same way. I think in order to change the world in a big, real and tangible way, you're either gonna have to drop everything and join one of those groups that go out and try to help the suffering (like the peace corps or something) Other than that, you would need a lot of money. We have celebrities and rich folk that think their occasional $10,000 or even $1,000,000 are worth anything to the world when they spend triple that on 5 summer homes and 8 sports cars. If you have a special talent or are able to work up to a very important position in a company, I think you can change the world by living in a NORMAL persons means and giving the rest back. ALL of the rest. It really makes me sick to see these people on TV in a position to fix so many issues, like hunger alone, but they don't. I don't care how much they donate, if they still have anything in there possession worth more than what is logically necessary, they aren't giving enough. If you want to start small though, I would focus on children. No matter what is wrong in the world, they shouldn't be aloud to suffer. I'm sure there are plenty of programs near you for that.
  13. Wow, that sounds pretty cool I will definitely keep that in mind next time I meditate. Thank you!
  14. Weird. I smoke all the time and never experienced anything like that. Maybe I'm just used to it already. Lol
  15. @Artimus wow I love your hair adorable
  16. @Faceless yes it is. But I am very interested in learning more
  17. I have been doing my best to understand all that I have read on here and other sources. The thing I think I best can identify with is maybe how we should view issues in our life. Me personally, I try my best to keep the best attitude I can because I feel like the way you start your day is a foreshadowing of what's awaiting you. Ex. Wake up in a pissy mood, you probably aren't going to be open to any positive influences and you are not giving the day any kind of chance. OR Wake up and tell yourself "today is a new day, with new possibilities" and stay open to them. If the day gets worse as it progresses, at least you didn't start at the bottom of it. So I guess my question is: Do you think Attitude is important in this journey? or is it just another Illusion created by the "ego" to distract again? I am genuinely curious. Sorry if I didn't explain very well. Thank you in advance!
  18. @Faceless okay lol man this is confusing sometimes lol
  19. @Faceless it is very interesting. I understand some of it. I have to stop allowing memory and experience get in the way of me just being now. @who chit thank you for the video. It was such a big thing to grasp. I have the power and ability to do anything if I just believe in myself. Reminded me of a Bible verse talking about if you have the faith of a mustard seed, you can look at a mountain and say jump, and it will. The human side of me is thinking "well of course it won't actually jump, it's just a metaphoere" so it won't happen. @aurum yeah it is complicated lol I need to stop worrying about it though and just go with the flow of things Thank you guys.
  20. I know lol TRUST ME! It's so hard to stick with. You just want folks to like you
  21. I think that's probably the biggest thing. People suck sometimes. You'll meet people that will actively try to screw you up because they just aren't happy unless you are suffering. But here's a little secret: of the 7billion folks on this blue marble, these aweful people are in the mass minority. I truly believe most people just want to help each other and lift each other up. But these aweful people are so loud, it can be hard to really notice the good ones. Try to cut yourself and others some slack.
  22. Yeah. It's weird. I'm able to understand, but when I try to imagine how to apply it, I get confused again. I don't really know how else to explain it. I'm sorry if I'm making no sense I know I'm not supposed to over think it. I'm supposed to do the opposite, "no-thought". I know the goal is supposed to be that, but I just can't see it.
  23. @RichardY i loved that video lmao thank you! @who chit I feel like I understand what your saying, but the application is still lost on me. I feel like the more I work on this and the more I understand, the crazier life seems to get and it throws me off.
  24. @who chit lol right? @John Iverson I agree. You can't measure your consciousness with a number. Some folks may score themselves too low because they are humble or bullshitting. Or score themselves too high to "boast their intelligence".
