Sadhguru is not doing much sadhana nowadays, since he mastered his energies he's consciously activating his energies for 20seconds in the morning and one cycle of surya kryia for the body. And he also says that he's eating a lot in this life unlike his previous lives. As for Krishnamurti and Leo you say they are fit but they are skinny if you didn't notice. -

@How to be wise if nothing is behind you then you have transcended all compulsions, mastered all life. Hunger doesn't exist for you because all the causation that would have caused it is here for you to see. Is posting here and that the best thing one can do when she sees it all in front of her or does she fails to recognize the behind-the-scene compulsions at work leading to that action ? -
Tetcher replied to SriBhagwanYogi's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@SriBhagwanYogi The advantage of Sadhguru's programs is that they will teach you the practice in a wholesome way meaning that they will demonstrate the practice to you, correct you, you will be able to ask questions, but also they will explains various things around the practice instilling some wisdom to help you establish the practice on a daily basis. Another dimension that personaly I don't experience is the energy, it is said that Sadhguru's energy is also at work on you during the programs, another term for it is shaktipat and Leo paid a lot of money to receive shaktipat from a yogi before walking out of it to work with 5meodmt. All this will impact your system in a lot more wholesome manner than reading instructions from a book. And as Voxun said you do the program and you can directly start practicing without worrying about studying it further from a book. Another thing is that Sadhguru is basically building an infrastructure around the world to help people establish the practices. You will have access to monthly Sathsangs in your area (if present). In his Indian ashram he's also starting a 7 month free of charge program named Sadhanapada where you will be able to work towards yoga in the most wholesome manner possible, giving you access to an engineered way of life, temples and specifically designed food. Without proper food I would say that Hatha Yoga can be a hell for years instead of months (if you push towards full proper postures). That is in addition to the volunteering opportunities that he's creating everywhere as well as in his ashram. Now, to me, since I don't understand the energy side of thing, all this is aimed at establishing and deepening the yogic practices as well as enriching your life in general. If you think that you can reproduce with fidelity the instructions given by a book and practice on daily basis without further help then you may go ahead and work with a book. But I'm talking about a book like JC Steven's who dedicated himself to rentranscribe the instructions from a reverred master like Lahiri. Don't use random books, I think Leo is a decent filter for that. While Leo and other people seemed to be able to establish practices on their own keep in mind that he at least also did Inner Engineering as well as various other workshops (vipassana retreats, holotropic breathing maybe, etc...) at the beginning of his spiritual career. -

I'm not questioning experienced depth, but how transforming and reverberating chemically induced trips are. What I can't rule off with psychedelics is that the euphoria, the experienced depth, the experienced infinite love are just chemically induced effects, not so different than alcohol making some people euphoric and all loving. The transformative effect that Leo is claiming may be caused by the lingering chemically induced euphoria. And it can last a long time, I did LSD quite a bit and I could still feel the emotional impact and instability it had for months after stoping taking it. I know he's going to say that his emotional state is not chemicaly induced but due to what he realized and witnessed in his trips but what I am saying is precisely that this emotional state is not due to that but to the chemical effect of 5meodmt just like alcohol can do that. Basically I'm going full circle because that's extactly how dogmatic people would dismiss psychedelic trips stating that's it's all "just a drug induced trip messing with brain chemistry". After LSD experiences I thought that the euphoria is caused by the truth of those experiences but after witnessing the lack of long lasting, pragmatic, transformation I went full circle hypothetizing that after all this euphoria is indeed chemically induced. Now at the end of the day whether we claim things or not we are still pursuing the same thing, it may be more clever for oneself to give in into the illusion that he's making progress along the path rather than favouring the witnessing of stagnation. Anyway the life is unfolding so better to see the upside rather than the downside but what we really want is truth. Sure it's nice having those trips, but are those trips contained in Leo's life or is Leo's life contained in the truth revealed by those trips ? During the trip it seems that Leo's life is contained in the infinite godhead but when coming out of the trip we wan't to survive to have more of those trips. So which perspective is right ? Keep oscillating between the two perspectives like the cosinus function and tell me if you get the truth of it. -

@Leo Gura Also I have no doubt that you experienced tremendous depth in your trips, however in your sumary video the things that you speak are very similar to how you described your previous may retreat as well as your hawai retreat, the infinite causation is something you already described very similarly. Sure the mind can only express so much and even if your experience deepens it may translate into the same speech output. But the question is how this experienced depth translates into increased reverberation in your system and transforms you in a qualitative and long lasting way. -

@Leo Gura What I don't understand is how can you claim so quickly that those awakenings experiences transformed you ? Personaly when I was tripping I had few powerful experiences that I thought transformed me but after a few time I saw that I was always going back to baseline, so now I never claim that something transformed me, I would have to clearly see a change in my daily experience or behavior for an extended period of time -at least a year- for me to acknowledge a transformation and even then I would have to be honest on whether this change is really organic or artificially maintained through striving. This seems very basic to me, don't you see that ? -

You are not taking into account the physicality of genetics. Even if you have kids your point of view remains centered in Leo and when you die you leave the body, if you keep awareness your point of view remains but not genetics. The enlightened people then say that this point of view choses a womb according to it's tendencies and depending on the womb it will receive a body with certain genetics, therefore it's detached. So the physical memory like genetics is one thing but evidence suggests that there is an immaterial framework that can attach or detach from physicality. We can call it soul for common vocabulary. The point is the soul needs to get enlightened. With enlightened soul you could chose consciously the womb to be born in and be conscious during the foetal developpment. Now can a sick body allow the enlightenment of the soul, apparently this human mechanism is the peak of evolution because it allows enlightenment to happen, so we can say that sickness could impair it. But is there a set of genetics that will make you reach enlightenment faster and easier ? Some sets can remove more difficulties but in the end the soul has to make it, no matter how good the genetics. -
Tetcher replied to kieranperez's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I saw you give some credibility to past lives rememberance, note that if one can remember past lives this mean there is an immaterial framework underlying the physical body from which the brain can download those memories. By working on that framework with yoga and other spiritual practices one may carry his work through lifetimes. Hence the saying that enlightenement may take lifetimes and that genetics are not the main factor in this work. -
What do you hope to achieve wihtin yourself after which you won't have to say "I need to work on myself first" anymore ?

I wouldn't waste too much money on neurofeedback, especially if my wallet is thin. Evidence suggests that neurofeedback effectivity is due to the placebo effect*. In fact placebo doesn't mean that it's useless but that the mechanism at work is disconnected from the neurofeedback method per say. It's all about stabilizing your mind patterns in way that your outcome behavior serves your goals. *source : https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/brain-myths/201302/read-paying-100s-neurofeedback-therapy

Great proposition. I was actually thinking that Leo should meet with Kerian, maybe invite him to his place for few days, they are like big and little brothers.

That is nice but the problem is not to have a glimpse of what you are talking about but to conduct your existential thread towards the ultimate. By existential thread I mean the point of view that stays during the process of birth and death, we can call it soul for common understanding. By ultimate I mean That thing that we are all searching for, that which will settle us for the rest of eternity. Not the experiencial eternity like heaven, hell or eternal bliss but actual eternity. Time is illusory so is actual eternity since there is only this moment so it would be more proper to say that the ultimate is this moment getting to absolute stillness. To stabilize to absolute stillness one important step is to be able to die properly, meaning consciously and blissfully or ecstatically, not panicking or trying to get one more breath. It is unclear whether 5meo helps to that end. Martin Ball seemed pretty advanced but you saw how he panicked when the system went in a certain direction, and that was after he surrendered to permanent 5meodmt effect (as he claims) that would have rendered many mad or dysfunctional. Had he died in this state of sleepless sleepiness it is unclear what it would have meant for his existential thread.

That's not so bad you also use low consciousness marketing tricks when you make an entire episode on kriya yoga only to tell that for people to practice they need to check the book on your booklist. You guys want to boost your income that's understandable.

You are still attached to the RV, it is quite a cumbersome vehicle. You may as well find a place in the nature where there is a shop not far away. RV is nice if you're working, you can change town and job as you please. But if you intend to keep the same job for longer it's probably better to have a flat somewhere near your place of work. Depends on what you seek really all solutions have trade off. If you earn six or seven figures you don't even care you can have both... In fact what you showed on the video seems like luxury. All you need is a car where you can sleep... You don't need a kitchen a top grade bed, a coffee machine and whatever. I lived in a car for a year the only problem is when you need to shit in a town you don't always have instant access to the facilities. But generally speaking you can outsource everything.

Your post is text book blue pill. Long term relationship, "girlfriend" 30y-7y older, she seems to matronize you on your flaws and you probably like it etc. Basically she has 0 sexual attraction to you because she friend zoned you long ago. You are more an emotional validator for her, you are here to listen to her complaining about the relationship with her boyfriend. You should check "Reddit the red pill". It's a community that has a lot flaws they are basically identified with their body, they miss a spiritual component so to them sexual agenda is one of the end goal of life (belief that will make you waste your life). That being said it will teach some basics about how sexual energy work in human and present culture. Leo hates it and may delete this post because he manages his relationships in a different way, a green way while red pill is orange way, but that's only because he delivers on some fundamentals and red pill is good to understand those. That's why they say that green is built on top of orange first you have to conquer orange so in fact it doesn't even make sense for Leo to lock red pill posts, but can you do, we all have our bias.

Leo's arrogance is indeed stunning but I am not going to challenge him any further. After all he went through many maddening trips and endured without breaking. He doesn't seem dysfunctional and holds his course. We will see over the years if existence gives him some lesson in humility or if one can pass like that. I admit so far so good even though I know only of what he likes to broadcast. Apparently in Martin's condition he would have endured (how does this condition ends ?) and not softened ? Or he's too wise for such a thing to happen to him ? Good for him. -
Tetcher replied to Arhattobe's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Arhattobe wait source ? Is he going through these issues now or in the past ? Edit : it seems it's on his Facebook too bad I don't use this. That's a big new for me as I always took him as a proof that 5meoDmt might be a legit tool. Shows that having fancy experiences and insights doesn't necessarily involve mastery or ultimate well being. I read similar things on erowid that long term 5meodmt users started having trouble breathing. It's like all fun, feeling powerful with access to truth until your system starts dysfunctioning at a level you weren't even aware of. -
There is no guarantee that psychedelics won't take you to hell. Some people pull out their eyes or cut their parts in a bad trip. Maybe they feel spiritually healed after going through the absoluteness of such act but we don't know that either. You can also end up mad and spiritually damned who knows. So first you should establish practices, better you follow an established spiritual path rather than stacking up random practices + psychedelics like it's encouraged here. It's safer but if you're itching for results and start trying technics without sticking to anything then there will be risk it goes in a direction you regret.

@MM1988 why do you care ? if you're out of the sexual game this is a tremendous boon as you can invest in other areas of life.. Don't you think we are already overcrowded on this planet, do you really want to pursue the same thing as billion other people in this age of polygamy and degeneracy ?

That is the equation of life that we are all trying to solve. Especially for people still insecure about their physical survival. "With money I will be able to meditate all day without worry", "But to be able to earn a lot of money I need to improve myself first". And of course rare are the people that can meditate full time for extended periods of time. Even Leo couldnt hold more than 2weeks in his one month buddha challenge. To dedicate all your waking hours to your work you either need workaholism or enlightenement. So it's about parameterizing this equation right in your day to day life.

There is someone that did just that on this forum : https://www.actualized.org/forum/topic/4845-1000-hrs-sds-in-6-months/ You can read this account history to see how it worked for him. -
@kieranperez are you using psychedelics ? You keep posting those threads that display ill being, impotency and confusion. Psychedelics or random practices keep energizing this pattern and you may end up crazy, broken down or who knows how it ends. A woman plucked her eyes after some drugs, a man cut his manhood etc. Someone on this forum manifested schizophrenia after 3months of breath watching according to him. So random practices in random environment can also do damage. Also beware of actualized.org, Leo makes videos going in all directions, there is no master plan in his teachings, whatever idea he has in current timeframe he makes a video about it, depending on who you are it may confuse you tremendously which seems to be the case. You need to stabilize your state, quite psychedelics and join an ashram for few months at least. You can volunteer in Sadhguru's ashram for instance but also any place you resonate with that will give you guidance and context.
-
Leo acknowledges that the effect of psychedelics is to warp the various perceptive bodies (psychological, visual or even physical) so that one can even experience hyperspace or such things. He makes a distinction between that and awakening per say which is something I can relate to. Now for people that experienced awakening using psychedelics how do you phrase or frame the fact that it seems more likely to awaken using psychedelics despite the fact that another outcome of their consumption is not to awaken but to make hallucinatory ? What are the mechanics of awakening in your experience ?

Don't call Leo a cult you'll be flattering his ego...
