The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. It triggered a lot my psychosis it's still worthy. The Way of the Superior Man by David Deida. I was introduced to the concept of life purpose through this book.

Maybe wanting to read many books has something to do with fear of the unknown. But probably Leo is giving the message for those who make excuses and don't want to read books. I think Teal Swan has a video where she explains that teachers give different teachings depending on the place the person finds herself. If you're being lazy, of course you should move your ass and read books. I mean an intellectual laziness. You can work hard at your job, but maybe you're intellectualy lazy and don't want to read a book.

You're welcome There is a Leo's video that talks about loneliness. You may want to take a look at it. Edit: this one here:

I can understand some Yellow concepts but I wouldn't call me Yellow neither Green. I'm learning how to be kinder, so I would say I'm getting out of Orange towards Green.

Thank you! I just watched some Sean Blackwell's videos. I even contacted him. Maybe I'll do a retreat with him here in Brazil (if he accepts me). You're welcome

According to one of my therapists, there are already spiritual communities that address these issues. Once I read about one in USA that treats people in psychosis (even people diagnosed with schizophrenia). But we probably won't see many of these communities here in the Western civilization. Soteria houses may not be considered a spiritual community, but they generally accept the spiritual and emotional side of psychosis. Open Dialogue works this way as well. -

Maybe Ken Wilber is right. A person during psychosis may not get out of fear and her non-dual realization may come with dellusions and paranoia. These people need a very compassionate and present person to help them pass through this process (which can be very transformative). But, again, the psychiatric system can be very, but very traumatizing. Most psychiatrists won't consider the spiritual and emotional side of a psychotic episode. -

I think maybe you can't grasp what a mental disorder means. If the girl was "mentally ill", she was probably passing through a mystical experience (what some people call psychosis). That's probably why Mooji didn't make a fuss about it. Don't trust too much on the psychiatric system. Psychiatrists have a very Orange paradigm and they can't understand entirely what a mental disorder is. Take a look at Sean Blackwell's videos in order to understand psychosis better. He even talks about Spiral Dynamics. You may also take a look at other books about mental health like Rethinking Madness by Paris Williams. -
I would take a look at this video: There is also another video by Eckhart Tolle where he talks about his experience with a drug. I'll see if I find it. Edit: just found it. It's Eckhart Tolle's experience with acid:

I read in the paper version a lot but I also have a Kindle. There are some Kindle exclusives.

Thank you, Leo! Mother Earth will suffer a little bit with this transition (considering that Orange is not so ecological).

Brazil and some other countries of South America have a very socialist political perspective. Despite our current government being maybe Blue with shades of Red, we had Lula as our president for a long period of time. He's in prison now, but, I remember during his government things were much better. Poor people were able to go to universities and there were many policies to allow them to study abroad. You can study at public universities for free here in Brazil, but depending on how things are going on, we won't have it anymore. When Dilma assumed her position as president, things got worse (I can't say if it was due to her enemies attacks or due to the excessive corruption of our political system). Now with Temer assuming as president, we're facing a political crisis. Most Brazilian people are not satisfied with our current government. We are also facing problems with figures like Bolsonaro, who is a presidential candidate that thinks killing criminals is the solution for everything. He's fascist, agrees with torture, death sentence, is against homossexuals, is misogynist, seems to hate human rights and there are many people who support him. Maybe Bolsonaro's discourse is pretty much Red. Brazilian people seems to be divided. From one side we see resented people who support Bolsonaro and, from the other side, we see people concerned about our social issues who want a more loving presidential candidate. I'm worried that Bolsonaro may be our next president and I can't understand why it's happening. Do we still have Red and Blue lessons to learn? Why are our people so divided? Why there are people supporting a fascist presidential candidate?

Hi, guys! Some people really need help in order to deal with their psychological, emotional and even spiritual issues. A therapist can help with it a lot. I have already shared with 4 different therapists and I think it's very important the therapist is a very loving person. Of course we can't find a perfect match and a therapist won't always agree with us. A therapist who helped me a lot just said he had answers for nothing. He would say that I had to discover things by myself and he was there to facilitate it. He was like a brother who was present with me during the process. Unfortunately, I couldn't keep my work with him because he moved to another city. What do you think makes a good therapist? Which characteristics of him/her help you with the healing process?

Is it a list of Turquoise people? I didn't know Stan Grof was Turquoise...

Hi, @Etherial Cat! How are the results you're getting? Sometimes I share some actualization materials with my family in a WhatsApp group, but I have no one answers. I feel some of them just think I'm crazy due to my schizophrenia diagnosis, but I still do have some hope. Do you think studying how to become a Spiral Wizard would help us?

If you had a brain injury, maybe you would need to do a lot of mind work to recover your brain (neuroplasticity).
-
Maybe I have already woken up, but, at this moment, I'm too much attached to my ego due to the medicines I'm taking. And yeah, it's possible to wake up with no psychedelics.
-
You may want to give a chance to holotropic breathing, created by Stanislav Grof. You need to find a professional you trust though.

The book Integral Psychology by Ken Wilber explains a little bit about Spiral Dynamics. There are also the books written by Don Edward Beck. There is a Kindle version of his book Spiral Dynamics in Action.
-
I also had some difficult to understand this idea that brain doesn't exist. What I can understand is that the mind influences the brain and improves neuroplasticity, but I didn't take it from a Leo's perspective.

The problem with schizophrenia is that the person lives in a non-consensual reality. Some antipsychiatry advocates defend that psychosis won't cause you brain damage, but maybe it's not true if the person lives too much time in paranoia or dellusions. Many people who experience psychosis and are in the Green stage of consciousness are passing through a spiritual emergency and they can be transformed by this experience due to their more loving paradigm. But people who are in the the Purple, Red, Blue and even Orange stage of consciousness have a more fearful paradigm and, due to that, experience paranoia and dellusions. But even if you're in Blue stage of consciousness for example, yoú can pass through a very transformative experience, but may be necessary loving people present around you during the process of healing.

Of course we're attracted to hot girls. But confident hot girls who love theirselves is much more attractive than a hot girl who has a low-consciousness paradigm and just want to bitch around. I'm not a poet, but I like poetry. Have you ever read David Deida?

The beauty is better felt by the way she loves herself.

I studied psychosis a little more and it has relationship with the Spiral Dynamics created by Graves. The spiritual crisis has a spectrum defined by fear and love. The more fear the person has, the lower her consciousness. A low-consciousness psychosis may be defined as schizophrenia (it may include Purple, Red and maybe Blue stages). A mid-consciousness psychosis may be defined as a bipolar disorder (it may include Blue and Orange stages). A high-consciousness psychosis may be defined as a spiritual emergency (it may include Green stage). I created this scheme in order to understand it better (it's just an analysis I'm doing and it's not an absolute truth). Yellow Stage --> Love Green Stage --> Some Love (Spiritual Emergency) Orange Stage --> Some Fear (Bipolar Disorder) Blue Stage --> Fear (Bipolar Disorder and maybe Schizoaffective Disorder) Red Stage --> Much Fear (Schizophrenia) Purple Stage --> Too Much Fear (Severe Schizophrenia) The fear may also comes from traumas and repressions the person lived. In his book, Rethinking Madness, Paris Williams shows a similar spectrum to define the spiritual crisis and psychosis, but this spectrum was defined by the ego observance, and not by love and fear. That's why David Deida says we're expanding love all the time. Maybe a legit mental illness doesn't even exist, Leo. And Spiral Dynamics help us understand what's happening to people who suffer from mental disorders. Edit: if you're treating psychosis or mental disorder, it's very important to keep taking your mefications. Don't stop it cold turkey.

There is a relationship between psychosis and the Spiral Dynamics. Psychosis is considered a symptom of many mental disorders like depression, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder and schizophrenia. The way the person experiences psychosis seems to depend on her level of consciousness. For example, a person who is on Blue level of consciousness may think she is Jesus or that she's possesed by a demon during her psychosis. A person on the Orange level, may have a different experience due to her belief system and level of consciousness. A person on stage Green, may have a better understanding of what she's experiencing during psychosis and is less prone to be hospitalized or take medications. But a person on stage Blue and Orange are generally victims of the mainstream psychiatric system and they are generally hospitalized and forced medications. People who experience psychosis may be moving towards Tier 2 (Yellow) and, instead of psychosis being a thing to avoid, it's very positive and will help with your evolution. I experienced psychosis and I'm exploring this new approach of what psychosis may mean. Luckily, there are authors like Ken Wilber, Eckhart Tolle, Carl Jung, Stan Grof and many others who have a much more humanistic approach to people who are suffering psychosis or mental disorder. The best way to avoid psychosis is to take antipsychotics. But taking antipsychotics brings the ego back (ego is shattered during psychosis) and you won't be able to connect deeply with your emotions and your soul. I'm studying more about it. If you have experienced psychosis and want to share with us, please, feel free. Realize also that you may be part of an important process of human evolution.
