@Leo Gura wow, thanks for the quick reply! Yes, it seems to be a lot of other stuff in his teachings, not just enlightenment. I will follow it a while more and see where it takes me while also doing other exercises. I will try to find more great and direct teachings I'm planning to go to an enlightenment intensive this summer, looking forward to that. An enlightenment experience is definitely what I'm most interested in but other esoteric experiences is also welcome. -
I just watched the movie I am Thor the other day, on Netflix. An incredible tale about the bodybuilder who became a naked waiter and then a rockstar in the 80s and makes a comeback 20 years later. I thought it'd be a silly thing for laughs but it reeaally moved me and inspired me. He really did what he loved even though it was weird and few people gave a shit and he struggled against so tough stuff and had some crazy obstacles that happened. He has a great attitude through the entire movie and will inspire you to do what you love today twice as hard! So go see it! It should be on the recommended films of the Life Purpose course. Just wanted to share this. Cheers!

I have an autistic brother, he really wants a girlfriend. I have a girlfriend and we recently had a kid and I'm not that great at the dating game, my first gf Whom I later married was a friend of mine and we decided to have a relationship but ultimately I had to leave because it didn't work out. Then I met my recent gf at a tantra-festival and it was just the mood and magic of the moment and then we couldn't let go of each other for the months to come and shortly afterwards she was pregnant and we've just gone along since (and it's going quite great!) so that's my story with women. I can't really give him any hook up-techniques since I've never used any. He's fairly tall and strong so that's good about his looks, and quite extrovert for an autist but his social game that is so crucial when picking up is not at all functioning. either he talks only about himself or he thinks about something else. i'm curious if somebody knows of any autistic well functioning relationships. What can he aim for? Are there any dating opportunities for people with autism spectrum? I want to help him and tell him what to work on. tldr: anyone ever heard/know of an autist in a relationship? How did it happen, how does it work? What's a good starting place to work? Any tips/ideas?

Hi! I made another forum post where I asked how people with small children find time to meditate and got zero replies so I wanted to see if nobody has kids here. It'd be interesting to see what the general crowd here is doing atm. Living with your parents? University? Midway through your career? Appartment/house/crashing couches? Kids/spouse? Retired? Are you a monk? I'll go first! I'm soon to be 27, work in the games industry as an artist, living in an appartment in the city with my spouse and she recently gave birth to my first son, he's 4 months now.

I've recieved tons of hints that my girlfriends wants to get married and we recently had a kid and I intend to build a solid lifelong relationship with her. This summer I'm planning to ask her to marry me in as well executed a manner as possible. She's an extremely old fashioned romantic type lady and likes 50 shades of gray so I was thinking something like helicopter ride / champagne / fancy ring / kinda thing but feel free to add whatever ideas you have!

Hi! I was wondering if there are any parents here who have kids and are still trying to meditate. My son is 4 months old and I need to help my partner with him in the mornings, I just can't meditate for 30 mins. Sometimes that might work, but usually I'll get interrupted. Share your best tricks for being a spiritual family folks! How do you solve this?

I'm bumping this to see if there really are no parents here -
What about music therapy? become a psychologist for money while keeping at the music and then you can do research on how music affects people in many ways and merge it all together! Nice interests, I like them also

I'm at the end of the course and I've noticed that I just stop watching it. I see it as resistance, fear of finishing something that requires mr to take action. It's very interesting how those mechanics work. I'll make sure to finish it soon! I really like my results after four fifths of the material so stopping now is really stupid!

To anyone who liked Leo's video about free will I'd like to recommend watching this clip: It's the last chapter of a Gurdjieff (who was a great spiritual master) book, a very long and peculiar book that I just finished for the first time. In this final chapter he summarizes a lot and gives a lecture on how we are asleep. The clip is two hours+ and a great listen IMO!

I have an anger problem. It's not that I don't know how to express it and it then gets pent up inside - usually it just completely goes below my radar. I don't become aware of it as it is happening or even afterwards. I realise it days later when it's passed and it's too late to do anything about it anyways. There has been some improvement since I started to work more with awareness and mindfulness and read a book about emotions. I try to do an emotion check everyday to verbalise how I'm feeling internally and that also helps. Mostly it isn't that much of a problem, it helps me keep my cool and instead of fighting (in a relationship for example) I just talk calmly and factually about whatever needs to be discussed, or I become silent and need to think. It's a real problem because sometimes I would love to have that instant fiery response and just be authentic and say no when somebody is treating me ill. That feels lightyears away right now. I Don't know how to get closer to that. Most people I've talked to say it's a good thing and that I shouldn't change it but I want to work on it. When I google it I just find people with the opposite problem, and pages telling me how to control my anger. But I need to GET FEISTY! Any help greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the tips! I will think about my anger triggers and get back to you when I make any progress! And that vodka technique sounds very advanced! I like how you think

The correct answer is obviously George Harrison

Im currently reading mantak chias books about taoist meditation. He talks a lot about how you should refrain from ejaculation when you start your practice. Apparently a lot of energy goes to waste with only one shot of semen. Kinda makes sense given his example that one shot if given one egg for every sperm could populate the entire US. The reason I'm reading it is because I'm interested in tantra and spiritual sex, and using his techniques to sublimate my sexual energy when I wouldve normally fapped has taken my meditations to levels I never reached before! It's really something I didnt even know existed. Also, I find myself being more outgoing when I stop ejaculating, the change becomes noticeable after around 10 days for me.

Not any particular order to my mornings but things they often include are: neti pot to clean sinuses. I loved it from the first second and do it every day! Dancing with my girlfriend. We do this like 3 mornings a week. We choose 2 super upbeat songs every time and dance like crazy, to get the heart pumping to the max in a short time. You get so much endorphins, and connect to each other, it's great! I read my Life Purpose Me Sheet while I brush my teeth aaand I do Uddiyana bandha, a yogic technique were you massage your bowels by creating vacuum in the stomach. And I try to keep the breakfast vegan as often as possible.
