  1. How those thoughts appear? Who is the one who has "memory" to create those thoughts? Is it all God's imagination? Isn't it? (Insert Sadhguru accent here)
  2. A man wakes up and looks at his clock. It is 7:07 am. He gets out of bed, goes downstairs and glances at his calendar. It says it is July 7, the seventh day of the seventh month. As he steps outside he notices Bus #7 going by. He walks to a coffee shop and orders a coffee and a bite to eat and the bill comes to $7.77. The man thinks "hmmmm... all these sevens... I think the universe is trying to tell me something." So feeling that maybe this is his lucky day, the man cuts out early from work and goes to the race track. He reads the racing schedule and sees that in the seventh race horse # 7 is called "Lucky Universe". The man can't believe it. He runs up to the teller and bets all his money on the horse. The horse came in seventh.
  3. I realized that when Jesus said, "those who believe in me" he was talking about his teaching, those who believe in what he said. In his advice, those who believe probably will do what he says and "see" (direct experience) what he was talking about.
  4. That's their problem, they think one must be first. They cannot understand non-duality... yet... Maybe this is just a beginning.
  5. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/mysteries-consciousness/201907/what-if-consciousness-comes-first I am posting it mostly not for the content, I think we all know what is the article saying but mostly because it was published on a website that is very "scientifically" oriented and it is mostly focused on the materialist paradigm. What do you think? I hope this kind of articles become more common on those kind of websites. So it can raise awareness in the general public.
  6. What if Karma doesn't think that winning the lottery is a "good thing" ?
  7. @Rilles That's their problem, they talk from the materialist paradigm. But, maybe is a beginning... who knows? They should meditate until BAAAAAAAM!!!!! Lol...
  8. And I would change the title @kev014 for "The Core of Christianity Contradicts Jesus teachings"
  9. @kev014 Listen to this guy Alan Watts "Alan Wilson Watts (6 January 1915 – 16 November 1973) was a British-American[1] philosopher who interpreted and popularised Eastern philosophy for a Western audience. Born in Chislehurst, England, he moved to the United States in 1938 and began Zen training in New York. Pursuing a career, he attended Seabury-Western Theological Seminary, where he received a master's degree in theology. Watts became an Episcopal priest in 1945, then left the ministry in 1950 and moved to California, where he joined the faculty of the American Academy of Asian Studies."
  10. So, you are thinking in being the next generation NEO?
  11. Nice Ivan! There's a lot of users saying that same thing, we are both things at the same time Ego and God.
  12. I got you. Same thing with me. You just have to follow your heart, right now I am more inclined to do meditation than prayer, but sometimes it comes to me and I want to pray a bit. I had really powerful insights and epiphanies asking with prayer. But we have to let our intuition guide us to the best way to know what reality is, we all have different experiences and we will find God (our true self/nature) differently.
  13. Maybe this can help? The Void As Contemplative Experience http://paulbrunton.org/notebooks/23/8
  14. Ok, got you. Share here if you have other lucid dreams. I am trying but not luck yet.
  15. Could you control parts of the dream? In my case for example, I was on a bus and where I thought the bus should, go it did. I could control the bus with my mind Lol...
  16. I think about it in this way, that's why Jesus washed his disciples feet, he was really washing his feet. Because everything is one, and in a sense it makes more logic, you are praying to yourself. It's like a way to wake up yourself of the dream. What do you think?
  17. I prayed to God asking him to baptize me with the holy spirit and I had a really powerful revelation, like a trip but without anything. It helped me to leave the traditional religious beliefs and search for the truth, really. So, it works IMO.
  18. That's why many wise men and women say not one, not two. Non duality means it's not two, but is not one either. ?
  19. I was always curious about who/what created us and I found a lot of interesting things in Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, etc... I began to read books and do meditation and here I am. My biggest challenge is fear.
  20. @Tistepiste Thanks to reading so much stuff and watching Leo's vids Lol
  21. No. Because to have two beings one must have an end where the other begins. So, none of them would be infinite. ☺
  22. @Paul92 Why you don't want to recognize that you are God and that you are the one pulling the strings? What is the difference, if you are pulling the strings anyway?
