The problem is that you still looking from the ego POV. Let me correct what you wrote: You choose everything, you are not aware or conscious enough of that fact. So you think you are a little ego trapped inside a bag of meat. And about the last part, you are aware of the feeling of being a puppet, but... who is the puppet?. When you wake up you will see that there's no puppet and no one subjugating that puppet. There's no-self.

Abortion is a difficult topic, because on one hand you are killing a embryo and on the other hand people who want an abortion no matter, what will go even to any means to get the abortion, putting in risk the life of the baby and the mother too... so, is like choosing the lesser evil. I think is worst not to give the option of a controlled abortion than to leave it in hands of unscrupulous "doctors" who perform abortions illegally. I have no numbers to support that, but I will take a look at that.

I was just meditating. Mostly just focusing on my breath and there was a thought that arose that said "pay attention to every detail" and it happened. Very short but powerful. It made me want to cry really. Very emotional. ☺

This is happening after I meditate everyday without missing anyday during 4 weeks. Is just the beginning. I always meditate but no so consistently. I will keep doing the work. I'm also considering trying some mushrooms. Not sure which one will be better for someone who never tried any kind of entheogens. ?

@traveler the morning wood happens because of that. So, it's not embarrassing. When we are sleeping we are with consciousness only, in bliss. So blissful that morning wood happens hehehe... Meeting with our true self brings a lot of "ecstasy" so that's not weird or bad really. :-)

We are awareness without content. That's the core. If there's no content there's nothing to desire. It's not that we (I) can't desire, I don't need to desire anything to do it. You desire because you lack something. But what you are is complete. You do things because that's what you are, not because of desire. Desire is for the ego self.
