  2. No, in one case, when you are enlightened and recognize your true essence you are ready to merge with God. In the other case, you will be still attached to an idea of what you are (a body, a mind, an ego, etc) so all those attachments will create again a body to where be born until you learn the lesson and become really free. You won't be ready to be one with GOD because of those attachments. In fact, you will reject God because it will scare the shit out of you (your ego-body-mind).

Now, tell him that Sagan is giving the Universe a property of GOD, he is saying that the Universe always existed. So, he is saying that the Universe is GOD, is just a matter of what name he uses to say GOD, in this case Sagan called GOD "The Universe"... Easy peasy!!!

  14. There's a trick to do that, it's a bit complicated but it can be done... You have to add some emojis or text before the quote and after, then select everything and voila! LoL... I had the same problem before, there was even a thread about how to solve that. It's a problem of the forum itself, we must contact the programmers to fix it.

  22. Words will always imply duality. That's why I think Leo is right when he says we need extreme "Open-mindedness" and not to be so attached to just words. I like to call it God, Brahman, Reality... Buddha nature, Christ... IDK

  25. The problem is what we consider God to be. IMO God can't be denied, God is pure existence all around us. But for some, God has religious connotations, they don't like the word. But God is simply reality, what is happening this moment, right now.
