  1. The “I am” is existence, basically God. I am means I exist. It’s not a self. (But everything I say it’s just words trying to explain what can’t be said explained.) So there’s a big I am that is God and inside this I am, you can find the little egos that also think they are and have existence separated from the big I am. There’s no me or self means those little I am really don’t exist, they are just manifestations of the big One. God, I am or whatever you wanna call it.
  2. Matthew 43 - 48 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
  3. Thanks for sharing. Awesome experience :-)
  4. For my those are concepts. We create the duality. If there was no duality we wouldn't be talking about nothing and everything. We can know there's nothing because we know everything. But the reality is oneness... everything has nothing included. I know, words suck to explain Lol...
  5. Consciousness is always there, even in deep sleep. I agree.
  6. That’s the biggest trick the Church. Basically they continue believing in the ego (devil) instead of what Jesus said.
  7. Yes... he knew the Old Testament like the palm of his hand. :-)
  8. In the Psalms it says the same https://biblehub.com/psalms/82-6.htm
  9. Einstein once said : Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one. Albert Einstein
  10. There’s two different “I” (not really but just for the sake of explaining the situation). Lets say the big “I” that is existence, God, consciousness, Brahman, Allah, Jejovah etc etc etc and then there’s the small “I” the small I lives inside the big I In Buddhism they call it the Big Mind and the small mind. The Big Mind being what creates all appearances and the small minds the characters we play inside that Big Mind. The cosmic joke is that the small minds are really the Big Mind who disguises itself to experience itself. As a unity it cannot know itself.
  11. Well if that’s all … I am enlightened because I think that’s the case. But sometimes I see in the forum people talking about seeing the void, dissolving into it, that your idea of the self disappears. That didn’t happen to me yet. The closest I was happened once where I didn’t know who I was and I was falling in a black hole while I was asleep. But I wasn’t ready to not remember who or what I was, and I had an episode I ended in the hospital. After that I couldn’t think well, I forgot things almost immediately and I had to go to therapy. They diagnosed me with depression. Losing my identity was like the worst nightmare. I wish it happens again with what I know now. Not sure if that’s the void everyone is talking about.
  12. THAT is you, who wanted to experience what is to have a predictable life, going to work, having to eat, getting sick, being vulnerable, and then feeling tired and going to sleep. It's not a machine, is just you that you are the creator of everything, you are God, the universe, that, consciousness, Jehova, Allah, Brahman... whatever you wanna call yourself.
  13. Yes, I think that was the meditation. It was long time ago. You had to lay on the floor to do it. I think … it was long time ago but I remember the sensations. I agree with you, in the end everything we do is a step towards enlightenment even if sometimes it doesn’t seem so. 😊
  14. We are just trying to explain with words what can’t be explained. That’s all. Some call it philosophy, religion, theology, whatever but the truth can’t be said. I think everyone here in this forum understands that. Otherwise we wouldn’t write anything. just a silent forum… not a bad idea 💡 😋
  15. It falls from inside you when you stop thoughts because you were always there. Thoughts come from others and from external things. So stopping the thought stream makes you find yourself. What do you think those zen masters are doing in their monasteries? When people says I want to find my real self, that’s what you should do. Thoughts judge and create the idea that you are a person separated from the world and the truth is you are everything.
  16. I did one a meditation technique shared by Leo and I become aware of many internal things happening in my body like I could feel the blood running through my veins and many other things. Maybe someone can become awakened after that, who knows?
  17. And make the sun shine everyday
  18. When you say this? Do you mean you are god alone surrounded of millions of avatars living different experiences and such? I ask because everything is one so you are alone and not alone. If we go deeper alone is an idea. There’s no alone or multitudes or anything like that. Just you playing a big game.
  19. Reality is infinite. It was always there. No created with a beginning or an end. Just pure consciousness Time is an illusion. There’s no time. Matter is not what we think it is.
  20. Thanks for your comment. Right now I had to stop all I was doing and coming back after a strong ego attack after that awakening experience.
  21. Maybe is the meaning we give to the word. For me awakening is when you begin to realize that there’s no separation, or that everything is consciousness. That’s what happened to me but I’m not even close to enlightenment. But if you equal both words that’s Ok. I give different meanings. No problem. 😉 Maybe I’m wrong and that’s how ppl use it in general. Awakening = enlightenment. Not sure. In my case it came back in one of the most terrible experiences I had to live. I almost end crazy.
  22. I think for awakening experience the OP is not talking about enlightenment. I had an awakening experience but I’m not enlightened yet.
  23. True. The best thing is to focus on the outside. Not so much in your thoughts and pay attention to everything around you without judging. Thoughts are the problem. They are not real.
