@Someone here hahaha... I was just kidding. But you nailed it very well, I really didn't understand well why time was an idea and not real. And the way you explained helped me a lot to understand that. It's true, everything is in the present moment. The Ok was more like, "you are right!" hehehe Thanks! -

@Breakingthewall In my case it didn't happen in meditation. I was attracted a lot to Christianity and I was praying like asking in desperation to have a sign that I was saved Lol... I didn't know anything... and it happened the next day when I was waking up, that's why I thought I was a nightmare, I was totally unprepared, didn't have any idea about what was happening. I had an epiphany some weeks before that it also happened just randomly. And everything was with a lot of my interpretation with biblical stuff, and Jesus, and so on hehehe... I saw reality, all was God, a lot of love, etc... but it was very confusing but powerful. Then when I was trying to integrate what did happen to me I discovered non duality, advaita vedanta, and I began to understand. Christian Church have no idea about enlightenment, they are doing nothing really. Maybe someone can become enlightened by accident hehehe... but they have no idea about what entails to become enlightened. I am not sure if I will be able to reproduce the event (or non-event) without chemicals, lets see... Good to know that is was helpful for you. Thank you also for sharing your experience. -

I think is a good idea to read everything @Breakingthewall the part I sent you is about the void but he has like a map of a lot of warnings of the path. I find some of his teachings with some ideas similar to Leo advice. Like creating first balance and a having a good foundation in philosophy and other aspects of life...here is the link of the whole book online: https://paulbrunton.org/notebooks/ in the first section "overview of the Quest" in the self development section there's some notes about the dangers, is really good to read them. It made me understand some problems that I had... https://paulbrunton.org/notebooks/1/5#section8 -

I am very glad that you find it useful. This is the only guy that I saw openly talking about the void. I found it by chance, don't remember how. I think it was when I was searching to understand what happened to me. I don't understand why others teachers don't talk about that... it is very important. IMO. He has some books published, I think I am going to buy some of them to understand that better, next time it happens I want to go and stay there... and if I get courage go completely into it and don't get scared. What is scared me the most was the total loss of identity, that was it was to me (to my ego) super terrifying... OMG... It is hard to stay there without memories, no reference to anything. But, it needs to be done when we are ready. -

@Breakingthewall @James123 It happened to me but without psychedelics. It's absolutely crazy. When it happened to me I didn't have any idea of what entails to be in the path to enlightenment. I was confused, and I prayed God to saved me and that happened. That void, it happened by itself, I wasn't meditating, anything... I just asked to be "saved". The void was in front of me, but I thought I had a giant nightmare, after that I didn't remember a lot of things, my memory didn't work well so I thought I had a panic attack or something like that. I ended in a hospital in the mental health ward. I didn't know what did happen. It took me like 5 years to know what it was really happening. Now I am praying/meditating to have the same experience and to have the courage to go beyond it and Love it as @James123 says. Hope we can all see truth and become One, but there's not really anyone and we don't become anything, we just are it. Or better said "I AM" before anything and I AM the source of everything/nothing. -

I agree with @electroBeam that when you are full enlightened you must leave your body. Otherwise you are like masters and teachers, you still see the truth or you are very close to it but you still have to believe in a body, etc... even if you say "I am not a body or mind, etc etc"... Because full enlightenment is when GOD reaches the point that it comes back totally to the source and then it begins again in an infinite loop. What I am not sure is what you are saying about being afraid of something that GOD doesn't know. Maybe I am wrong, but I always considered GOD and TRUTH ALL KNOWING. But I can be deluded too... Anyway this post is really powerful. And it makes us think and contemplate crazy ideas that the ego doesn't like. :-) -

@electroBeam This is something that I was contemplating long time ago. I have a co-worker friend that he is all the time taking care of his health, like eating healthy, he always tries to tell me that refined sugar is bad, that you shouldn’t eat donuts, that anything that is very sugary is dangerous, he doesn’t use the microwave because the waves affect the food, so he brings something from his home that warms his food up with electricity so he doesn’t warm up food in a microwave. And he is very non-believer, he is an atheist I would say. And he thinks that believers, believe in God because they are afraid to death, and they want to believe in a heaven where they will live forever, etc… And he is right from some POV. I understand his beliefs, I was there too. I did all those things too hehehe… not at the same level as you @electroBeam, but I was also atheist, in fact I was agnostic. And I know he is right about eating healthy and all that… but… I was noticing that he is also afraid to death. Because why is he eating healthy if it is not because he thinks he will live longer? I also had a preoccupation, I wanted to be healthy to live longer. It is not that I don’t want it now, but… I realized that I was fooling myself. Every time we eat something, we are killing ourselves. Is a paradox. When you eat something unhealthy you are killing yourself slowly, but isn’t that truth also if you eat healthy? The only difference is that you do it more slow than if you eat not healthy. Everything around us is making our bodies die, so we slowly go to union with God or the source. I was thinking a lot also about that for example in the case of Jesus. In my opinion, Jesus was the most enlightened guy because he knew he was God. And Buddha for example, he didn’t say he was one with God. What a fool I was! Hehehe… Not even Jesus was completely awaken and probably he was doing everything to get him killed so he could be united with God. I agree also about the idea that you are not completely awakened until you die. Because if you really really see through the illusion, where there’s no body nothing, masahamadhi must happen. Otherwise you are still believing that there’s a body, probably a weaker belief than the rest of the people or a subtle belief, I don’t know… but is still a belief. You have to die to be one with God because that’s what God is. There’s no body and nothing. Even when you think that you are not the body, that you are not the mind, bla bla bla… is all BS. So, I AM God but I have chosen to live this human life and try to enjoy it the best I can, or suffer it or whatever. If I want to try to become awaken or explore consciousness or doing whatever you think you have to do, is all good, because I AM God and what I decide is whatever it is. No need to change anything. Thanks for sharing your views, this is something I was contemplating long time ago but now that you shared your experience with us, it makes a lot of sense. Having said that, I will continue exploring consciousness and playing the game because is fun and beautiful. Now I am curious about that San Pedro Cactus hehehe…. Thanks for sharing that. Thanks again! -

That's true... I want to try but I don't have a sitter. Not sure if it is safe to do it without one. hehehe... I have a tendency of doing crazy things when epiphany's or true revelations arise ... -

@James123 Thanks James! The more I learn the more I want to be in silence... it's amazing. There's no words to describe and there's also no need to do it. But anything that happens is Ok. And nothing happens at the same time... a paradox. -
