  1. The thing that I liked about Leo is that he's very direct and he goes straight to the point. Thanks again for this forum, Leo! Keep up the good work!!!!
  2. Good to know it works for you.
  3. Very enlightening @DanoDMano Cool.
  4. I think she's cute Anyway, I checked her video for spiritual enlightenment and I think it's not bad.
  5. @OWL I hope the red pill work fast, because I'm beginning to get a bit nervous... hehehehe...
  6. Very deep indeed. I must say that I agree with you, at least at this moment.
  7. Learning that we have no purpose in life helped me to do whatever I want to do. I see it like if we were a blank paper where you can do whatever you imagine. And then, if you are not happy with what you just achieve, you can change!!! hehehehe.... Try to do whatever you enjoy, there must be something you enjoy. Make that your purpose in life. :-)
  8. @Khin Thank you very much, I didn't understand it that way. Very clarifying, cool.
  9. Christ when he said we must learn to love even our enemies seemed so powerful to me... Now I have a better understanding of it :-) "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same." Jesus
  10. @Spacious I am practicing to be a comedian, I hope to get better with time. Anyway, there are successful comedians that are as bad as me hahahaha
  11. When other people come to lurk here at the forum to see what we are talking about, they must be thinking, those are just a bunch of nuts!
  12. @OceanJjb that means we are wiser hehehehe
  13. My dream is to be able to live full time of my drawing. I like illustration, comics, animation, video game programming, etc.
  14. I don't know everything, we know only from our experiences, and that can be helpful to others sometimes. It's like a reference in our path. We help each other to grow. No one pretends to know everything. Besides, reading about others having similar difficulties like the ones we face is also helpful and enlightening.
  15. @Luna Wilde I am actually using one of the techniques shared by Leo, it is called mindfulness meditation. Probably you saw it already. Here it is in case you didn't. http://www.actualized.org/articles/mindfulness
  16. Very interesting @Khin . One thing that it came to my mind was that Leo said that we are "reality", if I understood that well. And we basically are nothing. That part is the most difficult to understand for me at the moment hehehe.... Thanks for your comments!
  17. Little Buddha (1993) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107426/
  18. @Genghis Khan very true, I am still in the process of accepting that there's no "me" or "I"... that's a hard one Lol. Accepting there's no free will took me a lot, I hope it doesn't take me so much to accept the absence of "me", thanks for the insight.
  19. I had a similar problem before, if you are very depressed maybe you will need professional help. The problem is the same that I had, overthinking. We think too much, is better just to enjoy what you are doing and not think about anything. I know is hard, in my case being so down helped me to come back again to the real path or to my path. Try to draw, or do anything that you like and when you are doing it check how you feel. If you enjoy doing it and you are not so depressed you will find the way. finding the things that make you feel good is a good start, like @The Alchemist said, think what are your favorite hobbies.
  20. I am 47 if that makes you feel better hehehe...
  21. There's some good things, I still need to work others... Root:open(19%) Sacral:under-active(12%) Navel:open(50%) Heart:over-active(69%) Throat:open(56%) Third Eye:under-active(0%) Crown:open(62%)
  22. There's no free will, that is true. But we don't know it. It's good for you to understand it from a theory perspective, right now we are not aware of that so we just do whatever we need to do. The important thing about free will is to understand that nothing is under our control. Not even enlightenment. The best way is to let it go, stop controlling things, try to be mindful, aware of what's happening, observing your actions like someone who is not you, like if you study an object and let awareness come to you by itself. Don't change nothing, continue doing what you do, and meditate a lot. The most useful meditation that I found is the one that Leo posted who is called mindful meditation. http://www.actualized.org/articles/mindfulness-meditation
