  1. Thanks for sharing @mostly harmless
  2. @blazed No, it's only boring work Lol... I just check the files that are sent to us, they are already designed so I just have to check that the file is Ok to print and then I do the imposition for big presses. We do mostly magazines. It's not bad, I really enjoy my work, but I would like to do more art, I really like comics. Were are you located? I am in New Jersey and I am planning to go to the New York Comicon in October. I want to have a table there in the artist alley and if everything goes well I will have a printed comic to sell or to give, not sure about that.
  3. @blazed Nice stuff! Who knows? We have to do that anyway hehehe... If I really can do what I am doing at the printing office I am working now I would be happy anyway hehehehe...

  5. Cows are very peaceful, so that's a good name for WHAT IS.
  6. Thanks! If truth does not exist, I don't think that's possible. Maybe I am wrong, but my logic tells me that whatever it is that created everything or whatever is conscious is the truth, it doesn't matter how did it happen. Even if nothing really exists, well... the truth will be that nothing exist, right? Whatever is happening or being, that's the truth. Even the idea that thruth doesn't exist, if that's true... then that's the truth. Truth must exist because any option will be the truth. I don't think there's an scape of that. Well, I think that is what is happening right now. If truth exist and we cannot grasp it. It will exist anyway. On the other hand, what I am doing is following the advice of other persons or enlightened persons that say almost the same things (with different words from different cultural backgrounds) which say that is possible to transcend our limitations and have a direct experience with what is. And what I am doing is not believing what they say, I am just being open minded about their messages to humanity and trying to look by myself. Not because they say truth will make me free, I just believe it. I will find by my own experience if that is true. In the meantime I just have it in my mind as a possibility among other things. We are all free, but we don't think we are. We can't see that we are free. And I tell you that through my experience. I know that all the problems we have is because of not knowing who or what we are. We have an identity problem. How do we create our identity? By reflection on others. If someone says to you, you are brilliant. You will believe that you are. If some other person, that has more influence over you says you are an idiot, maybe you will change your mind and you will think you are an idiot. So, we are not free because we don't know who we are, and we let our thoughts, ideas and beliefs dictate what we are. You study medicine, then you are a doctor. But you are also a father, or son. You like to sing, so you are a good singer. You like maths, you are smart... etc... We try to be a lot of things, some of them influenced by our relatives, friends and some others by our environment. That's why we are not free. The truth (what we are) shall make us free (free from concepts, from other's ideas, from our thoughts, etc). That's why Jesus said "I am the truth", because what we really are is the ultimate truth. You are welcome. I am just sharing my experiences, but keeping the options open (I mean not to discard or disregard anything until having a direct experience) in my opinion is the way to learn in this process that it never ends, we are always learning new things. And nothing I said is absolute, I find everyday new things that make me think again old paradigms. :-)
  7. Thanks! I will try it tonight and I let you know anything I notice. I like to be a beta tester hehehe...
  8. You are welcome Nahm! I really didn't understand the deeper meaning until I was like 30 I think hehehe... But it helped me anyway to get out of trouble as a teenager.
  9. The phrase that changed my life was on a bracelet my grandmother gave to me and it said: Truth shall make you free
  10. Nice, I will try it! What software did you use to code it and what language? Very interesting!
  11. Totally agree with that. I think he didn't want to manage the community but he loved the attention from the Sannyasis...
  12. @Leo Gura I forgot about Mu. I remember being in the Zen reddit once and someone answer me "Mu". I thought they were kidding, then I find out about Mu reading Zen books hahaha... I was a noob!
  13. She is 11, and now I think influenced for the guys that do Aikido is reading the Dhammapada hehehe... she wrote something about it, I will post it later.
  14. Lol!!!! It's a mix with Abracadaniel (my real name is Daniel) from Adventure Time and mouse because of the book "who moved my cheese". I always talked about that book and someone said I should be a mouse, then someone wrote my nick name in a chat mowse, and finally I changed the k instead the c and that's the story Lol... You can call me Daniel hehehehe...
  15. Knowledge is coming to me in the right moments. I went to my daughter Aikido class, they have a lot of books and I found one from J. Krishnamurti full of transcripts of his talks about Fear. Really enlightening.
  16. @Faceless Cool. I have to meditate on that and pay constant attention to what IS.
  17. @Faceless Tries to keep control through Fear, fear needs to be accepted or seen, observed as what IS.
  18. I found out that this is what scares us (or our ego) to lose. If we lose that "perspective" the mind goes crazy in the sense that it has nothing to grasp "reality". It's a shock for the ego. That's why I think a slow path to assimilate the new concepts that will substitute old ones is necessary sometimes. for a sudden enlightenment the person needs to live experiences that open him to that more truth and shocking reality. It's like jumping to a vacuum, or to the unknown. But I may be wrong.
