  1. I have to delete the hard drive, format it and install a new operating system.
  2. I think I did the wrong question. I was trying to find out what is or who is the one that creates the thoughts. I perceive them, I just see them appear. But now I see that thoughts appears in me, because I AM. So in some sense I AM (awareness) creating them, but the ego (the idea of what I THINK I am) doesn't have any control on them. Awareness allows thought to be created, but is not the creator and is not the chooser, is the observer.
  3. @cetus56 and @Faceless explain to @Ether about who is doing the decision... I don't have that so clear. :-) Thanks!
  4. Well, that part maybe @Faceless can give us some help Lol... I am still investigating that, because there's people that says that thoughts only appear in awareness. And that's all.... like the rain which falls from the sky. Thoughts are like rain. I have to go, I will write again later!
  5. Ether! You did awesome progress!!! It took me years to accept that. There's two points of view in reality. One is from the ego, the other is from awareness. When you talk from the ego point of view, that pov is false. The real pov is awareness. You are not in a body, the body is in you!!!!
  6. That's very good! If you are not your thoughts, you are awareness which observes the thoughts. But when awareness gets involved in the thoughts, when it attaches to the thoughts it believes that is a person, but... it is not a person!!!
  7. Who is the one who decides? Isn't that another thought? How is the process of deciding? Is there a "chooser"???
  8. Pay attention to that... you don't have any control. I am not typing this, it's a kind of "program" called ego that runs by itself. thoughts make everything. How do you know you are jumping? When you want to jump a thought appears and say jump!... is you who jump or is the thought that is telling you to jump? Are the thoughts created by you? If that is so, tell me if you can predict what you next thought will be.
  9. No, there's a body. But the body is not separated from the universe, from the environment. The ego creates de idea that this body is "mine" and there's a body which is owned by other person. Now I have to defend myself from the other who can harm me, etc etc... the body is not the "self"... your Self transcends the body. You impose a limitation yourself by thinking "I am the body" "I am a person", etc... The physical world is there, but the ideas and concepts about it are not true and are created by thought.
  10. The ego is a mental construct. The person does not exist, is a concept in our minds. A thought. There's no person.
  11. It is, but there's no one who "has" or "acquire" that knowledge. Everything you talk is a thought. Where do your ideas come from? Thoughts... reality is controlled by thoughts, no by "us" (you or me or individuals).
  12. When you arrive to the conclusion that "thoughts" cannot know anything, you will begin to get awakened and there will be no more questions. @Ether
  13. How are you going to be sure about that?
  14. Lol! That's true hehehe... we need more of that!
  15. I found it... thanks google and wikipedia. :-) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_of_Providence
  16. @Faceless I don't know why I always liked that symbol hehehe... it's like funny but I think it was done with serious intentions at some point in history. Not sure about the origin of it.
  17. This is the proof that God exists! I have a drawing of him.
  18. Something very similar happened to me! I had an epiphany or awakening, and I got into religion like crazy. Because of wrong understanding and I ended in a psychiatric hospital too. The interaction with other people in the same situation as me helped me to understand reality. Then I found this website that it helped me to focus more on what is real and not so much on my thoughts.
  19. I think what @Matt8800 said about the God of Espinoza is interesting to study here:
  20. Everything depends on how you view the world. We have different points of view about the world, that's why there's so many beliefs, different and that's why we fight each other in wars, etc... but there's something that is true that not depends on us to interpret it.
  21. Lol... "Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life" Amen!
