  1. I understand that hehehe... I never paid attention to that. I think that is implicit in his message, but maybe it's me. When he went to a meditation retreat he spoke about being in contact with nature, going out to meditate. I feel is his way of doing things. Maybe you can post it on ideas for his future videos, so he address and talks more about nature.
  2. @MsNobody What's the difference between "God" "The Absolute" "Brahman" etc... and Nature?
  3. An eye for an eye will only make the whole world blind. Mahatma Gandhi
  4. A lot! You know that you are helping me in that I didn't notice how it goes to the "most important worry" position. Lol.... You are right! Thanks! Money is "real" problem for sure! hahaha.... Thanks again!!!
  5. On a second thought. This is what happens. I feel the character of me more and more like something that is not really me. I am most of the time observing my body/soul/whatever how it acts and reacts. But I don't see his worries as mine. But anyway sometimes I am caught in the illusion and fear arises. For example, I am having some problems with money (who doesn't right?) and I am worry of not being able to pay the rent, etc... things like that. Mostly money problems. Lol... I am trying to open a business online to offer services and solve that problem. But as I said, there's a part of me that is not worried about anything that happens. And sometimes seeing what my "character" does can make me get caught in the game, but every moment that passes I feel more like an observer of him with his worries and anxiety... there's a pain in the chest (not a pain exactly, like a discomfort let's say) at the level of the chest. Like angst that is trying to get out but it can't... I think is all money related.
  6. @Jack River thanks, that was a very helpful insight. Thanks a lot for that. @Shin I think you are right about that. It's as Jack said, the ego/thought that thinks it has to get or achieve something in "time". @Nahm Do you know that fear is more and more disappearing and I am finding more and more trust in what is. That it doesn't matter what happens everything will end the way it is supposed to be. This is happening lately, I think it can be a little bit of spiritual grow in that sense. Not being worried about anything, but anyway I continue working, and doing stuff that my "character" is supposed to do.
  7. Maybe that's what I have to do. I was trying that too, but maybe not enough. I try to see everything like new, no labels. I was practicing that lately.
  8. I don't have a plan really. I know that to do something will go against what I have to discover. So, I only have to wait for "grace" or a non-event to happen that is not in my hands. That's one part of the thing. The other part is that I know that stories sometimes can help to get liberation, so I meditate... pray... I don't really know what I am doing really. Maybe I have to be quiet the whole day Lol... :-P
  9. @Jack River @Shin Thanks a lot for your comments. I was reading the book that @Outer posted Happiness Beyond Thought by Weber and what he says that enlightenment is I have that. I had that insight long time ago. Maybe the ego still needs to surrender more that's why I am looking for more. I will post part of the book here so you see what I am saying: All this, I know beyond doubt. But I am still looking and seeking. People who is enlightened say that once you are enlightened you know it without a doubt. Why I don't know it? If all these that Weber says happened to me. I know without a doubt that I am not my thoughts, that I am not this body that the only thing I am aware or that I can be sure that it is IS awareness.... so why I still have doubts? Maybe it means that as they say, enlightenment is only the beginning. And I already know what is needed for enlightenment, but I only need to discriminate more to know what I really am.
  10. @Nahm I just want to know or "see" directly what I am...
  11. I am meditating on this. But I seem to be blocked about that. My intuition tells me that the desire to become is because thought says that I am not that. So, it wants to become what already is. I understand that, but I can't seem to see it clearly... I don't know why. :-P
  12. I am not sure if my path is following Non-duality or Christianity I feel lost as usual. I found Non-duality to have a lot of common things with Christ sayings, but I feel that somehow focusing in Christ and praying makes me more aware than meditation. But I am not sure, maybe is time to practice and see via direct experience.
  13. Here you can find some interesting books that in my opinion are closer to what Christ wanted to say: http://www.christianmystics.com/Ebooks/Christian_Mystics.html
  14. No one is going to tell you that, and if they tell you what is true. Are you going to believe it? The most important thing is "What do you think?" or better yet... "What's your direct experience with Satan?" What is Satan? Look into yourself for the answers.
  15. Maybe that's the problem, I call consciousness the universal consciousness and the personal consciousness. Nis makes a distinction, he calls consciousness the personal one, and awareness the impersonal or transcendental/universal consciousness. The OP thinks that there's not such a thing as universal consciousness, so matter is something outside of consciousness in a world "out there".
  16. If I am conscious it is in relation to being unconscious. If "I am" it is always in relation to the "not-me." If I am conscious it is always conscious OF something. Consciousness always has an object of which I am conscious. So while the realization of my identity as the "I am" is very much closer to reality than the idea that "I am so-and-so, a person" it is still a step away from the final realization of the absolute, that I am the non- dual awareness which is allowing the consciousness to be conscious. Awareness is that which is shining through the consciousness, but it is beyond the consciousness itself. So " awareness" is different from "consciousness" in Nisargadatta's talks. The pure awareness is the absolute, without which there can be no consciousness. More here: http://www.prahlad.org/disciples/premananda/essays/NISARGADATTA CONSCIOUSNESS AND AWARENESS.htm
  17. Skipping? I am telling you that awareness does not need a brain to function. It's all around everything, it pervades everything. I told you I had an experience that showed me that, but you still think that my experience is not good.
  18. If you didn't have consciousness. How did you body continue breathing, blood circulating, all the functions were working... how this happens if the consciousness is not there? The brain creates consciousness? What is that consciousness that continues operating in your body when you are in a coma or deep sleep? Is the brain that continues working while consciousness has gone? Where has it go? Maybe consciousness went shopping while you were asleep and then it came back, so you "regained it".
  19. So, you were aware that you were unconscious. Do you see that? You are awareness.
  20. Were you conscious of nothing happening when you were in a coma? You are aware that nothing is happening when you are in deep sleep, aren't you?
