  1. There's a guy I know that he says he bless people with the holy spirit. He uploaded some videos to youtube. He put the hand in the forehead of the person and the person lose consciousness and falls to the floor. What do you think about that. If you believe he's blessing you with the holy spirit you will act as if that was the case. Same thing with these Sadhguru's people. IMO.
  2. All Things Were Created Through Him and for Him
  3. We are talking about something that can't be "talked"...
  4. Same here! Thanks for sharing @ivankiss
  5. @Flatworld Crusades It's like when you have a negative thought and you fight against this thoughts. Other thoughts arise like "I shouldn't be thinking like that" etc... that is the violence, trying to stop those thoughts from arising. The let go of the thoughts or surrender, is just observe the thought. Be aware of it and let it go. When you are aware of the thought you will see it lose its power. If you fight (violence) against it, you will see that it gets stronger (the negative thought).
  6. I think surrender is the only option, even if it doesn't work. My idea of surrender @Flatworld Crusades is just to be the observer and let the mind do whatever it wants. Just don't identify with the mind. But, it's just my idea, I never had an experience like that. So deep. I had some experience of losing my identity but I think this one we are talking about is deeper than that.
  7. What I am saying is that there's different kind of delusions. For example, the society agrees with what is normal and what's not. We decided that is Ok to go to work from 9 to 5, that we need an army, that we have to kill the enemies, that factories need to contaminate the environment. All this for me is insane. But, we all agree that is Ok. It's a delusion too, a collective delusion. The difference between becoming president, getting votes, going to talk to convince people, making campaigns, etc and believing that you are, let's say Napoleon. It's that there's people around you saying that you are nuts. And, on the other hand, being president is OK, because we all agree that's Ok. I believe that we adapt to anything. If being crazy or psychotic or think you are Napoleon or Abraham Lincoln or Jesus were "normal" we wouldn't see it as abnormal. I am pretty sure about that. Yes, I know... I am nuts.
  8. I need to be baptized by Kanye. Then... Instant enlightenment!!!!
  9. That's life. What keep us in the illusion of Maya is thinking that everything is real. Or let's say serious, important...
  10. @dharm4 If you are in silence, no mental labeling, no nothing... you are awareness too
  11. What happened to me @Conrad was that at some point I realized that what is life? If I (the little ego) has life is because of awareness. It was not a very high level realization, I was still in the duality of God and Me, separated. But that helped me to realize that the only consciousness that exists is one. So mine and God's must be one... and so on It was a shock, but a good shock now that I understand it better...
  12. Cool! It helped me a lot to understand better how to cope with those episodes of depression, psychosis, etc.. Right now I can say that nothing can affect me at a mental level, but I am always focused on what's real, not what my mind says. :-)
  13. I agree... I had also a "psicosis episode" that now I know it was a spiritual awakening. The problem was that I was not ready to understand what happened to me. I met a lot of people in the hospital that in my opinion, they are closer to awakening than a lot of "sane" people. In my opinion, that happens because awareness or reality pushes us so badly or you can also say that we cant's stand things as they are. That causes a breakdown that can lead to a psychotic episode, depression, etc... But, if you are not ready, because our culture thinks that spirituality is mumbo jumbo there's not really a good support to help you realize what is happening to you. The video I posted above explains that better than me, but that was my experience...
  14. @Flatworld Crusades I think this video can be of your interest:
  15. Thanks! I will take a look at this video. Interesting.
  16. Maybe the problem is our idea of perfection. There's perfection too in the people who has those anomalies. The problem is that because the majority is different we see them as defective or abnormal. What would happen if the normal was to have a deformation and we were the "perfect" ones? Do we feel perfect anyway or different and abnormal? IDK...
  17. Yes, I was... really. Super desperate. You were not as clueless as me. You did good. :-)
