There aren't, but you still had to choose an action, so the question still has meaning... what did you meditate on/ focus on ? -

Thoughts are malleable, they have no frame of reference in the bigger picture because emptiness or "pure love" has no reference itself. however, in dualistic and experiential terms it does i.e teachings and scriptures What does this mean? it means that a single distinction, has to be a single connection between two points of references. IS and IS NOT, that is how we get experience. A thought can only be IS or IS NOT , it can not be IS and IS NOT. So now we actually have two reference points of thoughts, IS and IS NOT , to which we then say [ IS- IS or IS - IS NOT] and [ IS NOT - IS or IS NOT - IS NOT] which is suitable to be expressed in direct experience as [ IS - IS and IS - IS NOT ] AND [IS NOT- IS AND IS NOT - IS NOT] confirming both points of reference are points of references and the distinction to BE a distinction which can be IS and IS not identically. because the points of references of thought was IS or IS NOT. these are when we use words, like real etc.. etc.. so thoughts are malleable as long as experience IS and IS NOT. it can have any frame of reference because all frames of reference of thoughts can be [Is- IS OR IS -IS NOT] and [ IS NOT - IS or IS NOT - IS NOT] why is this true? because what i've said is [Is- IS OR IS -IS NOT] and [ IS NOT - IS or IS NOT - IS NOT] , can be either true or false the moral of the story all thought is interconnected because all distinctions are interconnected why is this the case? because DISTINCTION [Is- IS OR IS -IS NOT] and [ IS NOT - IS or IS NOT - IS NOT] ONE DISTINCTION [Is- IS OR IS -IS NOT] and [ IS NOT - IS or IS NOT - IS NOT] and direct experience IS and IS NOT as well as NO direct experience IS and IS NOT and we come to the point that no pointer can ever point to what its pointing to explained in mathematics and English and logic LOLL but you see, how do we say that this very message IS and IS NOT in dualistic terms and not words and that's why Full enlightenment is a very rare thing, on top of not being able to point you to the pointer how does the pointer point to the pointer as THE pointer ? A very important lesson for everybody. So to directly answer your question "How interconnected are thoughts" --- ABSOLUTELY The invisible paradox "Direct experience = is and is not ... Direct experience = [ ] " -

Here it is, i'll tell you right now RIGHT THIS SECOND i will make up a story and tell you when you DIE you get to choose between a chocolate and an ice cream and which ever one you choose you get to have a baby with it that is what it means to die The moral of the story is we can all make up stories and none of them will true however, stories do range in accuracy and the most accurate one is that the death of self , is the death of awareness of experience this is actual or imaginary depending on how you understand the term "the self" because that would be the level of death LOL "so to die means not to die which would have meant you didn't live which would have meant there was no life. but there was life and so you did die" looping back around to you died but did not die, which means you lived but died and were dead while living at the same time" the moral of the second story even one distinction is too many -

unfortunately it only makes sense when it is empty or loving. simply pick your poison. and actually no, its quite satisfying in a non-satisfying way. i would imagine, i mean look how happy the enlightened beings are ahaha, it must be really satisfying as they say its worth it themselves -
Aakash replied to Key Elements's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Key Elements Yes then its okay, no problem. if there's one thing i've learnt over the years is that there is a market for anything because people truly do not know what they want i like the idea very much -
Aakash replied to Key Elements's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Key Elements lets deal with the relativity here first what do you mean by "healthy" i can start an apple company and upscale that, it would be considered healthy i've simulated thousands of ideas, and the healthiest ones are unscalable If i am really being honest, i probably would have been excessively rich right now, if i never cared about doing something "healthy" healthy is not scale-able to billion dollar revenue (that's corporate level aim) devilry creates money not healthy. -
Aakash replied to Key Elements's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
your whole premises works on upscaling "healthy ideas" that will benefit the mainstream portion of humanity to corporate levels, This is what i'm infering and assumming from first glances at what i'm reading? -
@Key Elements I had 101 things i could write but i didn't want the thread to go off topic with leo's work you'll realise our problems are so pointless as they currently stand, they're not even trivial lol, like solving cancer is a trivial thing... but not our most basic problems start another topic in life purpose and we'll talk about quality products

@Key Elements the trade secret to a high grossing product is to give people a platform to express themselves while earning commission for it. That is the lazy way out of life. Content is offloaded to others. The problem that Leo provides us is research behind high quality sources of information. Nobody actually wants to do the research of holistically putting abstract ideas together. This includes the government aswell, it’s going beyond survival

@Leo Gura Interesting Thanks, i will give it a go in the future after i've sorted my life out as my priority yeah that is true, its like roulette, i could say i'm confident now to have it knocked by the idea of self-judgement. Thanks for the link

@Leo Gura out of curiosity, i've always wondered how do i know if i'm hot ? like does it have to be a unanimous subconscious decision on others behalf to say that i am whenever someone looks at me instantly? i feel like i have a fundamental issue i don't require people to tell me things, i just believe it myself and genuinely. am i just fooling myself? i always thought that this was a healthy thing to do, but maybe i am wrong. using beliefs as confidence, rather than looking at things for what they are?
-
@CreamCat actually i will agree with that statement I don't like gambling very much

the notion of "sentient" or "conscious" beings is an illusion inside of pure consciousness. from personal experience i would refrain from asking questions about reincarnation until the end of your journey. but for the sake of Q and A, the answer is yes, but how will you prove this in your direct experience? it is just a belief otherwise. Towards the end of the journey, you can understand it as a concept and the importance behind the use of such words in yogic and hindu traditions. Still we must remember thats words are holistic pointers pointing to seperate parts of the whole In leo's teachings he likes to mention the elephant story of 5 blind monks touching an elephant and each of them describing different parts of the elephant differently. That is what someone saying reincarnation is like. -
Aakash replied to The Don's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
that was quite cute the million dollar question is what did you focus on ? -
@Key Elements Yeah i'm the same, i assume this is just normal cultural baggage, there's no different to a rich man marrying a poor woman and vice versa, there is still some judgements just normal stage blue/orange SD
