  1. @Joseph Maynor i personally don't think he cares about raising consciousness, more just pointing out where people went wrong when they ask for help. its alot to manage the direction of the forum and his own awakening work. but i don't really think this sub forum is typically self development work because its about enlightenment, so even spiral stages don't work here. being a devotee doesn't make you blue in a sense but makes you capable of enlightenment lol, but if your talking about self-development work then yeah there is a stage blue and stage orange forum typically in other sub-forums
  2. @Joseph Maynor LOL maybe people just aren't critical thinkers and methodical by nature, hence there is a path of devotion.
  3. i'm never going to understand turquoise, what the hell does this even mean
  4. @Vingger when you are able to get longer times in between thinking, you will realise that you are aware, the problem is that the attachment to the identification of being human, brain , mind, body is something that is programmed in us from young is so strong, we don't quickly arrive at the fact that we are aware, because the idea never comes to us until you have spent time quieting the mind and this is the practice of meditate and self-inquiry aswell as the other techniques for example, if you the "you" that you think and know that you are currently is the belief in between the gap so a frog thought does i need food, i need water, and in between its subconscious is "i am a frog" it doesn't know that the truth of the matter that this is only a belief and therefore it won't consider wait maybe i am consciousness having an experience of being a frog. humans have this ability to be conscious of their actions and so they are able to self-inquire. between two perceptions is also the same, between opening your eyes and closing your eyes or between breaths you are that awareness who is going i am human, that person looks amazing, i need food, and in the gaps are subconsciously adhering to the belief you are a human and that's why you don't notice the awareness
  5. chain 1: a-b-c-d } hybrid chain 1 and chain 2 chain 2: a-b-c-d this is the interconnectedness of reality, you can't not have chain ideas like this but the problem is leo isn't clear about how his video's the chains in them are all interlinked and this is where people are left believing instead of understanding that because in chain 2 b causes c that leads to c causing d to also be true in chain 1 and therefore you get the hybrid chain which is "truth" or reality as we can understand it as human consciousness this also applies to logic in general when debating between two people if their chains are linked differently, then the words used to explain how c and d link for chain 1 in a particular topic can be completely different meaning to the chain 1 that links c and d together in another participants and this is why i say that examples will help get a more equal ground.
  6. interesting... how do you mean i too think this is the problem that causes people to pick up beliefs, i've done four years of solo contemplation before i knew actualised.org even existed so when i think of leo's lessons, i've already gone and thought through most of the causation chains, with one or two parts missing that leo's gives me to finish it off. that's how i verify it against my own experience and understanding of reality. for some people they are starting their casuation chain fresh or with little examples to understand the dynamic lesson being taught. for example if a leads to be leads to c which means birds are blue if i get told birds are blue straight without understanding how a causes b causes c then i won't understand why birds are blue
  7. the free flowing ideas of thoughts i think that people are too simple with their arguments and debates, they don't back their claims up with examples and metaphors for the other people to understand. they simply say it with the expectation that the other receipients will automatically change their minds, i understand the topics are nuanced but a lot of the debates i've seen are people trying to prove the other person wrong. which is healthy, its just simply stated and not backed up with examples give examples and metaphors for your debates
  8. @Joseph Maynor yeah your not wrong there, well since it hasn't personally affected me, i can't really say much about it. However, if you seriously think its a problem that should not be overlooked. then i support your claim. but you haven't really linked your point to how this relates to nondual wars and the need to clarify it. aswell as free flowing ideas, is this a seperate issue or part of your argument for the need for an apparel system
  9. @Joseph Maynor you mean by a moderator, in giving them out since they dislike you and show more bias towards giving you points , i mean i don't think the moderators are that shallow, i've had the priviliage of talking to most of them and they seem quite impartial to making personal attacks. i personally think all the moderators chosen are really good and leo's selections were justly made, the ones i'm talking about are seratonin luv, key elements, cetus, nahm, i apologies in advance, if i've just made an assumption and that isn't what you meant, but i mean if its only because it can get abused, i don't think you need an apparel system, however, i'm in agreeance about the need for something to be done about free flowing ideas but its hard because you can't do anything about advitta trapping because people hold false beliefs. aswell as general behaviour.
  10. what are the consequences of a warning point, i just thought it was a slap on the wrist
  11. @cetus56 yep okay thats a clear definition, but not what i would have understood from interpreting the term non-duality wars, maybe it does need an update
  12. okay i'm done, thank you for your answers, you've given me good direction over the past 3 days
  13. @cetus56 @Joseph Maynor i think you two have both misunderstood eachother's interpretation of the word hostile, hostile to me is written abuse and bullying / belittling of another person which i think cetus means but i think joseph means the hostility of ideas to someone elses ideas i'm pretty sure these are two different things
  14. i thought non duality wars was simply ohh my teachings are right and yours aren't because my teachings say this which means your teachings are wrong, thats what is basically stated in the rules
  15. @Highest so its also a belief to say there are different qualities of consciousnesses?
  16. @cetus56 yeah but like your not saying that's a bad thing right because that would disregard everything we do on this subforum
  17. @Highest i see this split in my reality makes sense now, i think i can work on it and hopefully i will get rid of the I THANKYOU much love bro it was a belief that there was two different levels of consciousnesses happening at one go, one who was in the world of impermanence and was living a normal human life and then one that was witnessing it the human living his life but in reality that's what's happening its just one consciousness level, i just haven't got used to it.
  18. @Joseph Maynor @cetus56 if you really want to get into the heart of things there is no structure to our debates each person says their beliefs and then the conclusive evidence behind it, so its a pretty closed arguements theres also the problem that people don't have examples and metaphors to back up their points, its the only way people understand things more deeply in this line of work
  19. @Highest i see so you saw everything as consciousness, this is where i was was talking about during the day, with my sense of self feeling like its in two seperate realities, i did consider that if everything is consciousness then what i was labelling would be wrong, so does that mean there's no such thing as two different consciousness in the ultimate sense, reality is just one consciousness but because we think there is an i with a seperate self that there is a something being conscious of and therefore it seems like there are different consciousness also i apologies if i am asking too many questions, its just i have so many after that breakthrough, everything's being recontextualised and its more clear than ever before
  20. @Highest i'm totally in agreeance with you, its just i haven't done much meditation work , i might do it and go to its pinnacle and if it correlates with what i find to be the answer to self inquiry then i'll just stick with that consciousness feild thats another question does it feel like an infinite consciousness feild in which everything is happening and taking place but this world of happening is happening at a different consciousness level?
  21. , i is still helpful when your talking to other humans, or classification is still helpful for daily functioning of life, i mean whenever i say i, i mean the god i not the self i, yup thats the idea, hopefully the practices will help with this
  22. @Highest i see well you are certainly in a god then if your aware of it, i understood things alot more clearly today, don't know how i'm going to get to your level of consciouness :') lol, but i guess ill try by identifying with the one who is aware of everything going on in my life
  23. @Highest does this recontextual happen by itself or did you have to change everything yourself by forcing yourself to think of everything as god
  24. a) so when you sleep are you aware your sleeping in a visual, or did sleep never occur? b) so when you are eating are you aware that you are a human eating or are you god eating god in nothingness c) when you are watching a video are you aware of a human watching a video or aware of the eye visuals behind watching a video
