@metwinn I do think free will exists, yes, though it is limited by one's karma. I don't think the existence of free will runs in contrast with nonduality, or goes away just because you see through the illusion of self. I have noticed will to be at a level deeper than self.

No, I’m the epitome of an underdeveloped, somewhat enlightened (600s by the Ramaji scale) guy. I am workin on it though. Suffering. The enlightened are generally people who have been beat to hell by life and have a deep understanding that no accomplishment can ever get you out of suffering.

This topic was fuzzy to me until just recently. Like, until 40 mins ago. basically, traditional zen didn’t/doesn’t teach non-duality the way it’s taught now. Western zen temples generally do, though. in traditional zen, non-duality was an absolutist position which, until you got enlightened, you really were supposed to just believe. people who got enlightened in old traditions like zen got very, very lucky by the sheer fact that their absolutist position ended up lining up with the Truth. modern non-duality is run by yellow and turquoise clearly thought out rational proofs of nonduality. Not how it used to be.

I know this is old, but it’s very interesting, and relevant now that Leo is back on spiral. its important to understand what coral is predicted to be by the model. It’s the third vmeme in tier 2. the 3 rd in tier one was red. the model predicts that coral will be a mirror to red with far more development. So coral should be power-seeking in its quest, but deeply understanding of systemic thinking. most relevant to my hypothesis, it’s a vmeme which has incorporated the profound spiritual realizations of turquoise. therefore, I think a quintessential coral person could be a yogi in the Himalayas, who has probably already attained enlightenment, and is now after great supernatural power in the West, coral probably won’t manifest in that way however. Cause tier 2 as a whole is BEing consciousness as opposed to tier 1 FEAR consciousness. the only way to make a jump into BEing consicousness is by taking up a serious enlightenment practice. The teachings of actualized will move the extremities of your mind into tier 2, but serious spiritual practice alone will shift the core of your mind another way to look at the issue is by understanding that the only way to rationally evaluate either systems or the whole is with in unbiased, non-fearful, non-hating mind. @Saumaya Yellow and Turquoise recognize value in everyone as beings and seek to improve the world. But yellow still wants self actualization, still wants enlightenment, while turquoise is in a state of surrender, and likely already enlightened. There’s a massive drop in selfishness from yellow shifting to turquoise. Because it’s often correlated with the actual death of the individual self. or somethin like that.

I don’t think everyone who is in a state of enlightenment is turquoise, but is turquoise associated with total enlightenment? ps: can’t mention book list stuff but if u read one of the new books u know what I mean by “total” enlightenment
