  1. Isn't this just more conceptual frame work? Isn't that what we need to let go of?
  2. I hate that I have these impulses. I hate myself for acting on them, anger almost always follows an orgasm. I've never had a relationship and don't really think too highly of women either. I was also raised to believe sex was bad and indecent by my religious mother. Even though I'm no longer religious could I still be subconsciously running that programming? Simultaneously, I feel inadequate when others are more sexually successful than me, also making me angry.
  3. What is its substance? If it is not localized in space where do thoughts and concepts occur? How can something totally intangible have such incredible influence on us? How did it emerge and why? Why does it seem like only humans posses it?
  4. Meeting his lowest and grossest needs and impulses in obscene quantities with no concern for the feelings or survival of others in his environment. He will rape, steal, kill, and bully, his only concern is his survival and gratifying himself. He is easily angered and offended because his ego is actually very small and fragile. He will lust for power because power over my environment and others = More food, sex, money, drugs, respect, etc. He has no intellectual curiosity what so ever, probably because he got a very poor education and his environment is too hostile to ever worry about higher endeavors. What good is reading when the Americans are bombing my village or there's no food in my fridge? He will think very short term because his environment is so chaotic. There is a civil war and my mother and two sisters have been killed, I don't have a place to sleep tonight because Al-Shabab raided my village, I don't have a job because my country is experiencing a economic depression. Someone in this situation is worried about their own skin and making it to the next five minutes. He will probably abuse drugs to escape the emotional turmoil. He may consider joining a gang to meet his need for security, money, power, and sex. A stage red man is very dangerous because he has no capacity for sympathy or empathy, he can't afford luxuries like that.
  5. @Blackhawk If they were made here, they'd be completely unaffordable to the average person. Manufacturing is never coming back here.
  6. @Husseinisdoingfine Found the fucking tankie! China is an authoritarian capitalistic dystopian hell scape. Do you think a fascist blue world leader is preferable to orange/green America? At least America isn't conducting a genocide on members of its own populace.
  7. Does anyone else feel like a tinge of self hate when you feel sorry for someone or something? I just wish the feeling would go away, I don't want to be selfless and caring. I think I already lack quite a bit of it from what I hear from family but it still comes up from time to time. I just think it is weakness and that is something this universe punishes mercilessly. I feel like since the pandemic I've degraded down the spiral, I resonate much more with red than any other stage. Thoughts?
  8. How do you actually have faith in yourself? Most people that lived and died on this planet lived insignificant sad lives, why should yours be any different? Odds are you've never even met someone that really achieved anything so how do you believe it's even possible for you? These are some of my limiting beliefs, how do I let them go?
  9. @Preety_India I guess just how little control I have over it makes me feel weak
  10. Is it my life purpose? No, but it's infinitely better than being a blue collar wage slave like I am now. As long as I properly educate myself and avoid obscene risks, it could really catalyze my self actualization. I would have more time for, fitness, meditation, psychedelics, self education, etc. What do you guys think?
  11. Plus Covid kinda nuked my LP at the moment
  12. If you want companionship why not try a waterfall? Or a starry night sky, or a snow covered forest, or a woodland breeze? Not only are these things devoid of dogma, materialism, and ego, they are unconditional and permeate with wisdom and beauty. Nature possess no petty superficial judgements of you, it simply is, without needing anything in return. There is nothing truly deep in human social endeavors, they are quite fleeting, shallow, and unfulfilling, but the being of nature is divine. Why not put yourself in better company? Why not marinate yourself in the profundity of existence, actually feeling alive for once? Why are you afraid of having a relationship with God?
  13. @tsuki Counter-argument?
  14. Donald Trump has been defeated! It's time to get this country back on track! Post suggestions for Joe Biden to undo all the damage Trump has done these last four years and move this country forward. Here are some of mine: Lift embargo on Cuba Lift trans military ban Rejoin Paris climate accord Rejoin WHO Refund WHO Stop keeping children and deporting parents at Mexico border Invoke national mask mandate Denounce right wing terrorism Iran deal Actually make America great again!!!
  15. There are over three million Americans who pay federal taxes but do not have proper representation in congress. Almost half of Americans are not even aware Puerto Ricans are US citizens. This is a travesty! They must be given statehood, senators, and representation in the house. America is too developed of a country to be this negligent of its populace!
