@Dominick_Nec The first step is to understand that there is nothing wrong with you , what you think is you is based on belief system . Try to make a list of all judgments that you make , personally it helped me a lot. For that watch Leo's video on how to stop being judgemental. Don't be dogmatic , don't trust your beliefs , put them in doubt , like the idea you have about religion ,doubt every thing , be open minded. I myself am coming from a background of really radical dogmatic beliefs ( I am Albanian ) and all what I thought I knew was just a result of what my parents like , how they think , how the society I was born and lived was interacting and so on, untill I left my country and had a cultural shock. Basically all my beliefs flew out of the window , and that cultural shock made me doubt everything till the point I got into self development almost one year ago. If you like studying , good for you, but DO NOT be close minded . Take care and good luck

@Leo Gura You once said : " NO matter who you are , you are vulnerable " that being said guys I think Leo is enough conscious and open minded to the possibility of creating a family. He is just like us , a creature of emotions.

Feeling tired and not getting enough sleep may influence our results in meditating. It is a practise and as any other practice we need to pay full attention to whatever sensation may arise. And cutting sleep may decrease our sense perception. ?

@Mariem Imo it's like gym for the mind , you can sit still in a empty room and meditate for 30 min or so but when it comes to real life activities Mr. Mind takes over . With a little practice we can make our mondane activities the best way to exercise our consciousness , Ps. I work in a hotel -
Try to practice abundance. This means you should realise that you deserve peace , good feelings and love in abundance. Or in my advice read the book The Big Leap by Gay Hendrics .. It helped me as well

@Markus Is the belief system that they have been building up their whole life . I notice it in my parents .Sometimes they tend to be so dogmatic and I haven't met them in few years ( work outside of my country) and all this time I have been doing self help and all of that jazz . I'm really looking forward to meet my parents again and see how my awareness has changed the way I used to think .- 4 replies

@Caelis First things first , priorities come first . Ask yourself what'sreally important for me to do and do that thing first . Track your activities , including Social media , TV and other activities that are dull. Take a paper and a pen and write down your whole day . So at least you will have the bigger picture in order to spot " bugs" . Good luck.

I wrote a " contract " in wich declared the exact amount of money I want to have , what I am willing to give in exchange and when I expect to achieve that amount . Signed and dated !!!

@Simona Ctin It's a great book !!! This month I read it twice , it's a very simple way to understand how " presence " works . And try also to watch his videos on YouTube , those are little gems. If you have android try to install Play Books and you will find it there just as I did . Good luck on your journey !!!

Hello to everyone !!! My name is Donald Xhaferri and for the last 6 months I am getting really damn serious about self actualization. I have been meditating like 106 days on a raw for 20 minutes , reading books from Leo's Book list , waking up at 4 :45 , installing good healthy habits and the list could go on ( not for long ?) . I work in a chain hotel here in the middle east and as you might know it is challenging to keep my "eyes on the price " while dealing with day to day tasks , do's and don't's of a hotel . Situations like being under pressure, aggressive supervisors , guests and non productive competition and so forth. I feel lucky to have such obstacles or " traps of unconsciousness " so I can test my self and reflect on my own behaviour ,but Will it take to long before I give up? Can self actualization be "defeated" by a lifestyle wich is not allowing self growth ? Thank you ,

Well there are actually some books but I will suggest you to read Eckhart Tolle's The power of now and if you watch some of his videos it's helpful as well ( this is just from what I experienced ) . Take care

If I look back 2 years ago I was not at all a morning person " it is not for me ". I would get out of the bed in a very moody way ( not a great start ,one could say )and my entire day would "suck" but then I just fixed my daily routine made some time management , put my shit together and starting pointing out my priorities (80/20) . Counting 1 year and a half ...waking up at 4 : 45
