You can come up with a semi reasonable case that this is sexist. But this is not racist. As per Leo's new guidelines, I would encourage you to not spread misinformation. -

Agreed, that's why i stopped watching him, because beyond self realization you're on your own. No teachings will help you after that. He is literally doing that from our perspective, because he's using language to communicate his depth. Thats why its funny, as soon as Leo made a video about Love, everyone on the forum started having mystical experiences of Love. As soon as Leo made a video about infinite intelligence, everyone started having mystical experiences of infinite intelligence. But what people on here didnt realise, is that (and I wrote that here, and more directly here(but people here misinterpreted me even more than the critique) with lots of resistance) the only reason why they were having all these different mystical experiences, is because the were having 1 mystical experience, and projecting meaning onto it in different ways(intelligence meaning, love meaning -> its all the same experience! Just different projections onto it!) And it is possible to become more conscious and aware of God, and Leo is doing that, but at that point its literally impossible to describe it. Despite this, its still possible to go deeper and deeper. Leo's descriptions are 0% accurate, and all he's doing is projecting cool stories onto those mystical experiences which have almost nothing to do with the mystical experience itself - agreed. But my point is you can go beyond self realization, you definitely can. And going beyond it is not a cool story but real. -

@Haumea2018 Leo's descriptions are cool stories. But what he's pointing to is not. What he's pointing to is what happens when you contemplate. The answer you get after contemplation. Its contemplating deeper and deeper into the GodHead. Leo's assertion that some people are more awake then others is ridiculous and ego ce tric - true. Leo's drive to go deeper and deeper is not enlightenment - true. But Leo is not talking about cool stories. He's talking about revealations from contemplation. When Leo or anyone serious takes psychedelics, you take it to contemplate. Not to come up with cool stories. It is possible to paint a mystical experience with a certain projection, to give a mystical experience a story, a meaning, and a projection, but I don't think he's doing that here. Leo is aiming to quench his curiosity. And some teachers - like the Buddha - were into this. That's different to relieving suffering, embodying ever lasting peace, bliss and love, and integrating a non dual perspective into your life. You're not gonna do that with Leo's teachings. With Leo's teachings, you will be more aware of what God is. Leo and you guys are aiming for totally different things, and are on different planes. And your confusion is from taking your orientations and aims as absolute, without seeing they are different. There are different levels to how well you embody bliss, love and truth into your daily life. There are different levels to how conscious you become of what God is. What God truly is. Knowing yourself more and more deeply. This has nothing to do with enlightenment(sorry Leo it doesnt) and 'normal' teachers are aware of this - Jann Esmann talks about depth beyond self realization, and sadhguru talks about how kriya yoga is used for going beyond self realization. This is for the Selves that are curious. Not the selves that are not curious and are just after bliss, peace and love. -

Having curiosity for understanding God, and being drawn to integrating a non dual perspective into every day life(living in bliss, peace and this sense of completeness and this sense of satisfaction and love and just basking in it, like basking in a pool on a hot day) are definitely 2 distinct drives. If you've got a drive for the latter, its actually possible to go beyond all of what you are drawn to, and go deeper. The question is, do you want to. Not saying Leo doesn't have whatever you wrote before, inflation or whatever. Its totally possible for someone to go deep into the former without the embodiment of the latter(which i guess would be a form of inflation). But its not like if you have a deep sense of curiosity and are drawn to going beyond that completeness and bliss that you're deluded. You're just different and expressing a different Self. This is how amazing This is. -

@fridjonk Leo's teachings are very unique in that aspect of understanding the God machine. Leo is like a pure metaphysician. A scientist for consciousness. And the others are applied metaphysicians. Yeah, I'm in a bind atm because I feel like you learn more from listening to the energies of your wardrobe about enlightenment then you do watching videos hahaha. 1 vs 1 teaching is super nice especially with Nahm. Awake as in, more conscious of reality, or has embodied the ox more than others, or both? Is it possible to have a physical avatar and be more awake than anyone whose ever taught? Sounds like you need to be a dmt machine elf to be more awake than anyone whose ever taught. Like what the yogis say about when you awaken you leave your body or whatever. -

@fridjonk I want to separate his teachings from him because i dont know anything about him. His teaching's orientation is what makes it less integrative than Rupert's. His drive is to 'figure out' or contemplate deeply reality. Thats literally his teaching's focus(his teachings before i made this post because after making that post i stopped watching him). He has a very sharp, pointed focus on unravelling the 'how' consciousness works. And he unravels many fragmented aspects, from love, intelligence, bliss, Moo(nothingness), and there's a drive to figure it out. Its like this huge curiosity, single focus on 'figuring it out'. If you check out other teacher's teachings, they arent so limited, and subject themselves to just this single pointed focus of deep contemplation and 'figuring things out'. There's emphasis on how to live with what you've figured out in your day to day life: work, relationships, family problems. How to practice spirituality while living life. How to embody bliss, how to constantly Be peace(in contrast to what Leo does which is, fuck embodying peace, lets go figure out what the fuck Love is, quench ya curiosity). How to constantly be compassionate in times of covid. See the focus is much more on living with mystical insight in day to day life. And generally these sort of rupert spira teachings goes beyond Leo's drive to know more and more about consciousness, its either beyond it, or its just a different orientation. Just a different focus. Leo focuses on knowing more and more, others focus on living through all aspects of life: work, relationships, blissfully, from a different perspective. Could be wrong, but people like Charlie are conflating the 2. Leo has said in a blog post that he's not a zen master but an explorer, and he said on the forum he's passion is studying God, and he wants to do that for another million years. Its clearly a different focus. A lot of sadhguru's advice actually contradicts Leo's. Sadhguru constantly emphasises not taking the path too seriously, being to enthusiastic, and single pointed focus on the path, and taking the ideas of the path too seriously, and he always reminds his audience to treat both spirituality and mundane life equally. To live mundane life to the fullest. And forget spirituality for a while here and there. Leo's the exact opposite, constantly thrusting his audience into more and more hardcore spiritual practices. And he's getting more serious. This comes at a cost: a cost of forgetting to embody, forgetting spirituality is not special, and there's a beautiful life beyond psychedelics, contemplation and non dual ideas. To live a happy life, there needs to be at least some sort of satisfaction. You can't enjoy your life having a need to search deeper and deeper into the godhead. Thats why a balance between hard core Leo/Ralstone and softcore sadhguru is good. Like you've gotta ask why does Leo just want to know more and more and more? And aint ever satisfied? Because I've certainly been in states where i was completely satisfied and felt like just basking in it and living from that place. Because Leo's drive for more is in itself a particular state, not an absolute state. -

@fridjonk Leo is the map, not the territory. But his map is looking for something rupert spira's map is looking for. Thats very obvious. Practice both what rupert practices and what Leo practices, they are trying to do different things. Rupert is much more integrative. Leo is much more deep. -

No No you got it all wrong. You don't follow Leo for enlightenment, every lasting peace, or to integrate yourself better. You follow Leo to understand consciousness more deeply, or to be more conscious of what reality is. Thats different to Ramana style enlightenment. Ramana style enlightenment is all about integrating yourself better. Ramana style enlightenment is about being whole, being complete, living a life of peace, living a life of beauty, no suffering, integrating your human life with your awakening experiences. Leo will never ever do any of those things if he takes the path he does, and thats not what he wants to do. He specifically said he wants to study God as God for another million years(in a particular reply on here). That has nothing to do with integrating God, or answering how to be blissful and joyful, or how to embody God, or typical enlightenment stuff. Leo lacks integration - by design. Because he's too busy going deeper and deeper into what God is metaphysically. Leo lacks coming back to why enlightenment is valuable in the first place, and he's (not to project just explaining here) disconnected with the joy and bliss and peace and even love aspect in his teaching. And disconnected to the embodiment. He's not trying to do those things, hes trying to go deep. You dont follow Leo to get enlightened or to be blissful or to find what it means to be human, and how to live a good life(even though Leo once said he's channel is about living a good life) you follow him to more deeply understand God. -

@Pilgrim Its definitely the unpopular that are the most awakened @LfcCharlie4 This post is turning into the 'guess what psychedelic Leo is gonna pull out of his ass next' I don't know much about Ramana, but the most enlightened people I've spoken to, read about, and listened too are not public. The more public ones are people like Jann Esmann, Franklin Merrel Wolf. And ive spoken to people not on seen anywhere online that I resonate with much more than them. So it wouldnt suprise me if ramana didnt go as deep as some others. -

Got a very strange feeling he's gonna say Matt Khan more so than not. And the Law of One's author. -

Who is awake? -
Charm isn't a skill, its an internal mental state. Its the structure of your ego, your feelings and relationship with your career, friends, your dreams and where you live. Its your beliefs about yourself. Its the beliefs of others. Its how meditative your mind is, how much life experience you have, how much mystical experiences you've had, how genuine and sincere your desires are, how honest you are to yourself and others. How compassionate you are. How driven you are. This isn't a skill, its how well you've integrated all aspects of your life. If you want to attract women. Focus on integrating your life, not learning some crummy skill.

Have you noticed yet that you have in the past, or will in the future, reincarnate as a hitman? Still a terrible job when you pretend to be one? You mean to say, what God is, and God is a hit man and drug dealer, is imperfect, because your survival driven worldview is more perfect?? You mean that job, where you destroy bodies, but don't really kill anyone because killing is simply God stopping to pretend? You mean that job where in the long run, you don't do any harm, and you only seem to do harm from a limited perspective? Maybe a hit man is part of a grand design of the universe, a design trying to experience itself, and the hitman is a vital key player in carrying out that plan.

Of course could be wrong, but your ideas of enlightenment are not real. They are monsters under your bed. I personally, with resistance by many on this forum, would go so fa as to say enlightenment IS not real, but imaginary. You're getting all fussed up about an imaginary story of this thing called enlightenment. Im sure you feel something strong, and you feel there will be a radical revealing of reality that will shake the stream of consciousness, but the projections, labels of what this feeling means, and will do to you are fucking you up because they are not real. Follow your bliss. -
To put it even more direct. It means you go with him if the energies feel right, you don't if they don't. The ideas, opinions and views he has of the content of spirituality (the thoughts) does not matter, to the extent at which it does not affect the interactions of the energies between you and him. The idea that there must be an intellectual match (a match between the content in your head, and the content in his head) is a fallacy, because the outcomes of a healthy relationship operate on a plane separate or different to thoughts and content. If he like rugby, and you like piano, it doesn't matter so long as the energies align. Likewise if you both like spirituality, but the energies don't align, you're fucked. And that's exactly why I chose that example as a way to experiment, because there's no better example to test and see the power of energy over content than that one. No more obvious way to inquire and inspect/discern deeply the difference between feeling and thinking.

The surface of the ice berg is your ideas of 'woke' and 'non woke' and 'enlightenment' and 'spiritual' and 'non spiritual'. This is content. The submerged part of the ice berg is the energies, feelings, perceptions. The stuff you feel, but don't think. The awareness of those feelings. Then there's the aether, the stuff beyond the submerged: the 'godliness' in the man you're seeing, noticing how he's made of consciousness, how consciousness (YOU!) is creating him, etc. You do not want to date him. Why would you when you create him? The body and mind, the stuff that operates on energies, is what wants to date. When you become an 'enlightened person' do you stop eating apples because apples aren't spiritual enough for you? So why would the body stop dating? What matters in dating, is whether your energies align with his. All this shit about Leo's content, spiritual content, the ideas about how you're god, and enlightenment and yoga, etc. That all doesn't matter. That's operating on a different plane to the plane that's urging you to date. The plane urging you to date is the energies. I've done it before, I've told a girl I didn't know well that I wanted to rape her (as an experiment). She didn't get scared or worried, because saying "I want to rape you" is content. Its not energy. Its the energy that make stuff happen, not the content. The content doesn't matter. If the energy had a sense of "I want to rape you" then that's what would have made her run.

I've always wondered why most youtubers seem to come from the US. The US is not the spiritual capital of the world (India is) yet its the place that talks about spirituality the most. Is it a cultural norm over there to talk about everything you see? What's interesting with that speaker, is he's calling Leo a cult, because he is rejecting materialism. In his definition of a cult, you could say materialism is a cult, and he is criticising Leo as 'being a cult' precisely because Leo is rejecting the cult that he belongs to. See how sneaky that it. When in a 'cult', or more correctly, a doctrine for too long, you forget its a doctrine, mistake it as real, and then literally flip the truth with falsehood and think the truth is the doctrine, rather than the truth.

no I'm pointing to something which you can actually know/experience. Language = assumptions. There is no such thing as a statement not grounded on assumptions. -
Its not that hard to understand. He feels hurt thinking about you with another man. That's all. But more metaphysically, he has tricked himself into thinking he has lost himself/God. Tricked himself into thinking the Love of God did not come from his inner self, but from you. And now you are gone. And now without realizing it, he has pain from loosing God.

You're alive right now because you have trees for oxygen, society to keep your food and shelter met, an Earth that's just stable enough to not rock off course into space, all because the source (the thing you feel when you love a woman) is keeping it all together for you. And you've never been loved unconditionally? -
@Cocolove No such thing as a low conscious job m8. All jobs are miraculous, just for existing. The perception about the job though? Not so miraculous. Your 'low consciousness' perception is relative. Doing the dishes as as low conscious as being a spiritual guru. There is no difference.
-
@SamueLSD I was very close to becoming a Royal Australian Air Force fighter pilot as a kid - the only thing that changed my mind was, I saw computers were taking over the glamour of the job, so decided to go to computing. God does not distinguish 'spiritual' from 'non spiritual'. Everything is spiritual, everything is God, including the army. If God was not the army, there would be no army. On the surface, you will begin the army with a bunch of views, beliefs, perspectives and perceptions about the army that aren't true, but will seem true to keep your sense of reality. As you go deeper into this work, all those beliefs and perspectives will be shredded from you, and you will see the army for what it is - not some blue staged(in spiral dynamics), idiotic place, but you will see it and how it aligns with all of reality. How it developed in the first place from history, how it evolved, and how its evolving into the future. Without people like you in the army, how will the army progress consciously? If you want to go to the army, then that's your calling. There is no such thing as blue stage, idiocy, selfishness, corruption or even evil in the eyes of God, just God doing its miraculous thing. Ways you can improve the army is to stop war crimes, defend Australia with dignity, help change the culture to a more fair one, etc.
