  1. I've discovered that going through 'the path' has left me with some side effects or 'junk' which was necessary at the beginning but isn't anymore. The sort of stuff I'm talking about is judgements and negative emotions of those who oppose nonduality as a possibility. For example those normies who judge Leo's videos of science as just him being a deluded guru. Or when some authority medical board says that natural medicines are a hoax or healing is a hoax. A strong negative emotion arises and a bit of anger occurs whenever I see such comments being made. Although I have a desire to understand them, have compassion for them, see things from their point of view, accept them, love them and be in harmony with them. What are some ways of apply that?
  2. Enlightenment isn't about escaping suffering There's no such thing as suffering.
  3. You're right but knowing the truth for truth's sake is the most expansive desire out of all desires, because knowing the truth allows, accepts and includes happiness, sadness, anger, hell, heaven, nazis, bitter pills, sweetness, counter intuitive truths, going backwards, accepting your ego is wrong, accepting you can't ever even know the truth, being open minded to absolutely everything, including things like heaven isn't enlightenment, etc. Acceptance of EVERYTHING, including things you don't like, like sadness and bitter truths, is the key to enlightenment. Chasing enlightenment to be happy or to be in heaven is too limiting as you'll not include EVERYTHING, you'll just include what you like and therefore will never get there. Which is most people on this site, and most people in spiritual groups beyond this site.
  4. If you're doing enlightenment work to get heaven, joy, happiness, peace, etc. Then you aren't doing enlightenment work, you're doing personal development work, but calling it enlightenment work to make your ego feel good. You only do enlightenment to know what's true. To discover the truth. The truth may be hell, it may be bad, it may suck like hell. It doesn't matter what the fuck it is, you do it because knowing what the truth IS is important of itself, regardless of how good it feels, regardless if its heaven or hell, regardless if it benefits you or not.
  5. I'm mad at you for making such silly claims about nonduality
  6. ⬇️ The feeling of the 'block' is the block. Let that negative feeling go. I doubt you feel that way because you are actually disconnected from your higher self, rather the negative feeling is actually telling you to let the thought "I am disconnected from my higher self" go instead. The insights are literally feeling good you just add mundane content onto them to make it seem like you're gaining knowledge, when actually you aren't, because there's actually no knowledge to gain. Lack of insight = lack of feeling good. Lack of feeling good = lack of letting go of limiting beliefs.
  7. have an answer already, if you do, ask a question, why do you?
  8. I'd love to move to yellow, but unfortunately I'm HERE instead. I think I was judging those people because I had a shadow of being deluded myself. Once I accepted that I'm allowed to be deluded and its ok to accept myself even though I can be deluded, then I started accepting delusion in others.

  10. We even got the derailing aspect of this site down pat here
  11. Didn't read all of it but totally agree with your points and think they are spot on. Lots of spiritual busters in there. I especially liked how you said a life of service actually helps you integrate and deepen awakenings. I never thought that was possible in the past till tried it. I'd like to add an interesting point though. For very few in the population(who are enneagram type 5 scientific inquiry types) deepening awakenings doesn't have to be just through living a life of service, it can also be through actually still contemplating deeper into reality, except the inqury is no longer coming from a sort of desperate, sort of toxic unfulfilled need to relieve suffering or to end the game or whatever, it can arise out of a pure fascination for how consciousness works on a deeper level. You can actually still want to know more about consciousness while being deeply fulfilled within. Sadhguru talks about it actually a little bit. He said once that kriya yoga are for those who want to understand the mechanic of life and consciousness beyond enlightenment... that's what im trying to point to.
  12. +1 Or just volunteer for a cause you're passionate about. OP software developers do talk as part of their job... it can't be as bad as you're making out. Imagine if you went in a cave for years.
  13. This comment was deeply underappreciated on here
  14. He's just salty that he isn't getting as many chicks as us.
  15. Is this the title of drake's new song?
  16. Just noticed something tiny the other day. Had a silly idea in my head that infinity meant something like a number line, where you would chronologically go through each number 1 by 1 for infinity. So for example, you would reincarnate through the lives of each person and alien and whatever 1 by 1 forever, knocking off each person at a time. But just noticed maybe its not that way. Maybe just having the free will to do whatever you want IS infinity. Because free will means you can do whatever you want. And you'll do something different every time because its free will. Its free. There's no necessity to ensure you'll knock off every number and leave no number unturned, if you skip 12 or 50 does it matter? It goes on for infinity anyway.
  17. Great suggestion thanks! "it"s a pain in the ass because I can't figure out what it is
  18. Whose the one aware of the thought telling you there are memories?
