Good point, I missed that possibility. I wonder if that happened, the new presidency and cabinet could overturn that. -

What do you base this on, with all the poles of early voting showing Biden winning with the largest percentage in election in American history? -

'A human being is part of the whole universe, a part limited in time and space. We experience ourselves, our thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest. A kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from the prison. The true value of a human being is determined by the measure and the sense in which they have obtained liberation from the self.' (Albert Einstein, 1954) -

Can only be understood in direct experience. No one can explain it to you. -

Also if his base sees that he is losing by a huge landslide in early polling, they might just not bother to make the effort for a lost cause. Hopefully. -

In regards to children being locked in cages, her response was to ware a jacket that said in big letter "Who Cares, Do You?". She is a monster. -

Kamala Harris is going destroy Pence in the VP debates in a week. Pence is a bland and uncharismatic speaker. Kamala is a beast. That right there will destroy any chance of Pence taking over. -

There's the tax evasion, the money laundering, the stealing from charities, and not to mention the treason. The New York prosecutors have been sitting charges that have been pending for years, the IRS has audits and most likely charges waiting for him. Basically everyone is just waiting for his immunity to end, and they'll come at him with dozens and dozens of charges. Probability ..high. -

I was with people on a beach when the news came in. Alot of people automatically said "Good, I hope he dies from it". I said "I hope he doesn't. I hope he lives a very long life. When he loses the election, he will no longer be under the protection and immunity of the presidency. He will have hundreds of criminal charges to face, including tax evasion. I want him to live long enough to pay for everything he has done to the world. All the pain he has caused. I want him to live a long long life, to reap what he has sewn from a prison cell, for years or decades to come." -

In the entirety of human history, a full God consciousness awakening was extremely rare. But, within just the last few years, the rise of full God consciousness options, such as 5-MEO and Ayahuasca, has rose exponentially. Whereas a few decades ago the cases of full awakenings might have been in the hundreds worldwide, today it might be in the tens of thousands, and spreading fast across the world. Here where I live there are new practitioners popping up ever day. Over the next few years the number of people of full awakenings might be in the hundreds of thousands, then in the millions, then maybe within a couple decades could be in the billions. It will become part of our collective culture. People will see the benefits and want it for themselves. What would humanity look like if the majority knew they were God creating an dream/illusion? What would humanity look like if the majority know there was no self and there was no other? Would racism, jealousy, greed, hate, etc. be a thing of the past? I think the future of humanity is unity, knowing that we are all one, enjoying the dream that we all (God) created together. -

If it helps at all, this gave me some hope. Although, of course Biden will win, and by probably a large margin. But it's what will happen when Trump refuses to leave and gets his base to fight for him to stay. -

Just to add to the conversation: Hyperbolic? Maybe. -
I'd love some opinions on this. When asked if he would condemn white supremacist groups Trump said "stand back and stand by". He has been telling everyone clear as can be that the election will go to him one way or another. Telling his base that the very soul of this country is at stake and under Biden their way of life is over. Trump has ensured his base /the Right that the very soul, the future of this county and all it's people, is at stake. They are right, this is a fight for the future of this country. Each side's version of the future of this country is completely incompatible with the other. We are getting to the point where the two halfs of the country cannot coexist with each other. Some have been saying for a long time that we could be heading for another civil war. Trump knows this, his base knows this, and he has been signaling to them, like tonight, to do whatever it takes to ensure he continues to stay in power. He told large groups of armed white supremacist groups, on streets in many many major cities across the country, to "stand by"! Basically saying wait for his word, after the elections, after Biden is declared the winner, and he will give the order. That order is going to be to use those loaded assault rifles and defend your country. At least that's the way I interpret it. So to me, a major armed militia reaction is inevitable. Here's my main question to be answered in the next couple months: How large will the armed white supremacist groups/Trump supporters response be when the time comes? Most of them could be all talk and when that time came they'd do nothing, or there could more out there than we think that are willing to 'go there' when the time come. Hard to say. Will these armed white supremacist groups/Trump supporters use deadly force if Trump tells them to? If so, to what degree will they take things? Will they kill people in the streets, and if so are we talking dozens, hundreds, thousands ... ? If the armed white supremacist groups/Trump supporters use deadly force after the elections to keep Trump in power, who will stop them? Will the Democrats stop them? Will the cops stop them? Will the military stop them? The Democrats have proven themselves completely unprepared and toothless in fighting back against Trump. They seem powerless against Trump at every turn, and I don't see that changing when he attempts a coup and declares a dictatorship. They'll probably say "well, we tried". The cops have for the most part sided with Trump and the white supremacist groups. They are actively trying to stop any opposition of this coup happening. The military has officially said, numerous times, they will not get involved. No one knows the future, but to me, it's not looking good. Do you think we are headed towards one of the worst moments in American History since the Civil War? Do you think this will be the end of Democracy/life as we know it here in this country in the up coming months? If we are headed down this path, who do you think could stop it? Is it possible to stop it from happening? Will each half the country fight to the death to make sure the other half doesn't win? Or do you think this is all more of Trumps lies and once Biden wins all this will be over?

All good points. But if the people don't stand up to what's most likely coming, and the government won't, and the police won't, and the military wont, who will then? With no opposition, doesn't it mean Trump will stay in power and it's the end of our democracy? -
Sempiternity replied to Sempiternity's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
They're not stepping in now with loads of armed militia on the streets threatening people, will it be any different after the election? Trump is betting on his not accepting the results to go to the courts, and he, with his latest hand picked appointee, could have the majority of the Supreme court side with him. Going against the will of (what ever percentage Biden wins by) the majority of Americans. Pretty par for the course it seems, and to me the most likely outcome. If that happens would the military intervene? I doubt it. -

If one truly understands that there is no death, only transcendence. A few moments of suffering don't matter in the face of bliss for eternity. Suffering is part of the experience of the game, essentially so. -

No matter what happens, you're always Now. What is happening Now is all an illusion. So doesn't matter what is being imagined Now, is all just images. So if you (God) imagine time travel, you'll still be imaging it Now. If you time traveled to the Past, you'd still be Now. -

Young Turks did a really good analysis of the whole thing. Trump makes much more sense now. This was a big part of the whole story, so this is kinda a big deal.
