  1. Nothing is wrong with it. I do content marketing and make more than I could working full time at minimum wage. It’s not easy, but it’s fucking awesome to be making money through the internet. And doing it in a conscious way is EVEN MORE satisfying. That’s why I’m flying to Indonesia on a one way ticket next week. Don’t let people put doubt in your mind. If you want to do it, do it.
  2. “When your batshit crazy, they make you THEIR LEADEEERRRRR” 😂😂 I was dying when he said that. Owen is hilarious.
  3. Well I am GEN-Z lol. You realize you have a supercomputer in your pocket? The traditional path is fine but it’s not for me. Yes of course that comes with a cost, but also comes with massive upside because there is no limit to what you can create / make. Doesn’t mean I won’t take a job just means it’s a stepping stone to something greater. I also happen to be very entrepreneurial minded so, like I said, he’s speaking to his Niche. I am that niche. I always have been, and Niche by definition IS Anti-Mainstream, and every cell of my body revolts at the idea of slaving my life away at a 9-5. That’s why I started a business and started creating my own content. There is a path. I will not fucking stop until I create an insane amount of wealth on my own, in a highly conscious and creative way. I refuse to be a slave. I refuse to be a victim. With that mindset, what can be accomplished? And what good can be used with that money when it is? What can be created? What can be given back to those who need help? If I don’t have shit because I’m walking a “traditional path”, then who can I help and give to? People can barely feed themselves working normal career jobs in today’s world! It’s not as “safe” as you think! Especially if you lose your soul in the process!
  4. Yeah I'm going to watch it again. Just getting the essence of that energy can be enough to make you take massive action and make shit happen.
  5. I think that's the whole point. He is speaking to his very niche audience and not everyone. That's why it resonates so well. And he said multiple times that this was a free event where he was just riffing, so to me the point was not to learn some technical skill from the talk but more the essence of making money and being yourself. And he delivered. Also, what he said about rich people being the highest paying clients for a niche service is so true. Even knowing JUST THAT is such a massive insight if you want to be an entrepreneur or go a non-traditional route, kind of how I would pay Leo basically anything to fuck my mind with an Alien Awakening course. LOL!
  6. @Butters Oh damn I didn't even realize. Maybe moderator can merge threads? Either way - f*cking amazing content.
  7. I like Dr. K. He is bringing a lot of Eastern Philosophy to a massive Gen-Z audience and tying it in with modern science and psychiatry. I see that as a good thing, regardless of if he has glimpsed The Infinite himself or not. But from what I've heard listening to him, he has a pretty decent understanding of the entire field of spirituality and a good amount of training as a traditional yogi. Net positive from my perspective.
  8. I just watched the Wild Wild Country documentary on Netflix and.... HOLY SHIT! NOW THATS WHAT I CALL A COMMUNE TURNED CULT! Super Interesting to see how things turned sideways as soon as the collective ego of Oregon was threatened by the collective ego of the Rajneeshpuram, and then it was basically a battle of survival between the two. Crazy! P.S. - Antelope Oregon is like an 8 hour drive from my house. Anyone want to go visit ?
  9. Right? Poison people and assassination type of drama! Definitely. Props to the film makers - they crafted a great doc. Yes I agree. He was a profound man. And I will have to check those out! "Love, Freedom, Aloneness" is the first book I got from him and absolutely loved it as well. Oh yeah for sure. I'm surprised the situation never escalated to more violence in their case - it's actually a miracle nobody died from violence. It's also interesting how those power dynamics are literally burned into us, regardless of how perfect or immune to it we think our group or commune is. School, Work, Friends - you get humans in a group and you know the power games are going to be right there with it. He was definitely a wild wild man 😂
  10. @Yimpa you gotta watch it. It's so good. And that clip is nuts. Osho was really something else I still have his book "Love, Freedom, Aloneness" and I have to admit, it's pretty damn good. Whattt no! She was Love incarnate!
  11. It is a great doc. Oregon is a beautiful state. Yes well said. They did a great job of sharing both sides. I was surprised they even got Sheela on to speak as well. So many lessons to learn from the whole ordeal!
  12. That's awesome man. I think any form of travel is good for the soul. Something about it for me has always just been so eye opening, and I haven't even experienced international yet. I can't wait.
  13. Yup I'm right with you. One of the reasons why Ram Dass will forever be a true Guru to me.
  14. Yeah it is. And that video is great. My intuition tells me that repeated psyche use, over and over and over, is a very thin line to walk. Not only for your neurochemistry and overall health, but for your humanity. To me, profound and far out states of consciousness aren't worth turning into a monster for. If you lose Love, do you really have anything left?
  15. Yeah I mean you are blasting your minds neurocircuitry every time you do a psychedelic, so repeated heavy use is definitely going to effect your dopamine / serotonin neurotrasmitters and all sorts of stuff, maybe permanently. All those circuits play into empathy, love, and just feeling good sober. I know when I smoke weed a lot I turn into a fucking asshole. You'd think "weed smokers are nice and loving" but it's the opposite, because the mind gets so drained from being blasted by chemicals that it literally can't function normally. I would think this is what happened to Timothy, but at the same time Ram Dass turned out fine and did just as much, so who knows. It could be a disposition, just like how people with a psychotic or schizophrenic disposition can be seriously damaged by psyches, I would imagine if you have a disposition for "hate" or "anger" that could definitely amplify things and turn you into a monster. Seems like Ken Wilber had a similar insight.
  16. Oh yeah for sure. I don't disagree that there are certain dispositions, and I don't disagree that Timothy had accessed some pretty profound consciousness. I just think in the case with Timothy Leary it was more that it radically changed his natural disposition and personality of being kind and open to combative and detached. But who knows how much of that was just the scene of the 60's and 70's and them being constantly under pressure for their psychedelic use. I could've done the same thing, but I'd like to think regardless of how hard life gets I never lose that Love. To me, Love is the Highest.
  17. For sure. It's kind of funny how, from a Birds Eye view, it's a fucking miracle any of us even encountered this material at all, let alone get to a point to where we can argue and debate its nuances. I'm just happy to be here, lol.
  18. Exactly what I was trying to say. Well said. Yes that's a great way of framing it. I feel we are pointing to the same thing just have a slightly different feel for it... So weird. So cool. I love this stuff.
  19. This is really interesting, because I just read Ram Dass's autobiography, Being Ram Dass, and one of the things that Ram Dass said happened to Timothy Leary after all of their psychedelic use at Harvard and Millbrook was that he started to really close his heart to humans and see them as "fake." Like he used to be a kind open guy but after all their trips he would start to call people "puppets" and continually get into altercations and fights with those around him, even Ram Dass, which is what ultimately led to them going down separate paths - Ram Dass going to India and finding Maharaji and taking the path of Love and Bhakti (devotion), and Timothy Leary becoming the psychedelic prophet "Turn on, Tune in, Drop out" that doubled down on the counter culture movement and adamantly challenged the government structures of the time. I'm not saying this is what is happening with Leo, but it is eerie how Ken Wilber is explaining what happened to Timothy Leary over 40 years ago: too much psychedelic use closes the compassionate heart and detaches you from your humanity. Seems to be a pretty clear trap.
  20. @Yimpa Tickets bought for July 2nd. My first Villa has a private pool and buddha statues everywhere
  21. See I agree with both of you, to me Consciousness IS itself. It's Total. It's Infinite - AND I feel that "higher consciousness" is possible, but that is really a misnomer, because it's nature is such that even a glimpse is total, like Ralston said: "All my awakenings are the deepest." So, it's more like you are opening, or receiving, more of that infinity which already is. In Aldous Huxley's book, Doors of Perception, he calls the human mind a "reductioning valve" to "Mind at Large" (Aka God): to me this perfectly sets the picture. God is God. Infinity is Infinity. But your mind can somehow open its "valve" to receive or comprehend God more, which feels subjectively like "more" consciousness, but it's not really "more" because it's the same substance. It's always been that way. There isn't more of it, you're just opening to it more. You're "seeing" it more. You're letting "more" of that infinity in. That is my current understanding of it at least. But yeah, as far as something "beyond" God or Consciousness to me it's evident that's impossible. Even alien consciousness is still consciousness, You can't escape consciousness, no matter what flavor it takes (and I'm not saying it can't take on some insane and radical flavors).
  22. All this banter reminds me of the interview when Leo asks Peter Ralston "Is something beyond the absolute?" and Peter says "No." And then just laughs: "You can't get more absolute than absolute. You can't get more infinite than infinite." To me it will always come back to this. Ground zero. Nothingness. Infinity. God. That's what it is. Everything else is banter and bullshit within Gods Mind. That's what my awakenings have shown me, at least.
