I was wanting to make a satire exactly like this of how ridiculous some radical non-dualists are. ? Person: "Hey what's up man" Radical Nondualist: "Did you just refer to me as an illusionary separate self? Obviously there is no me! God you are so ignorant!" -

@ValiantSalvatore I believe me and @aurum are both referring to the built-in notes app on iPhones
-
Same the notes app is a game changer honestly. I had the one-note app on my phone and computer which didn't really sync great and was honestly a pain to use. The notes app though - flawless sync to my Mac and iPad, and is so smooth

Because every thought of imperfection, something being wrong, something needing to be a little better, are seen to be completely false. There has only ever been perfection. Thoughts just make it seem otherwise. -

Psychedelics have the exact opposite effect on me then weed. Its like becoming more awake vs. become more asleep. When I smoke the herb, I go straight zombie, unconscious mode. When I eat mushies, its exactly the opposite. -

@softlyblossoming Yes. Ask every possible question you can. Some hit different than others -
I just stumbled upon Jim Newman's and Tony Parsons "non-teaching" on YouTube and watched their videos for a solid 4 hours during work, Am I crazy or is something off here? I mean, I understand the message - there is no individual self and no one to become enlightened, but I just intuit this is very rigid, one-dimensional, and lifeless view of spirituality. Rupert Spira and Mooji have a similar message, but I feel they are willing to meet the questioner where they are at and not just reply in a robotic "this is it" way everytime. I also feel a tangible sense of Love & Peace from Rupert & Mooji that I do not feel from speakers like Jim Newman and Tony Parsons. - After watching, I felt "out-of-it" and depersonalized. And not in a no-self spiritual way, just in a confusion way. Anyways, I guess I was just curious as to what the actualized community thought of Jim and others like Tony. Do you feel this non-teaching is bypassing or some sort? Or is this my ego resisting the Truth they speak of? Either way, cheers!

If you're taking a micro dose, then a normal does the next day should be fine. The micro dose won't be enough to build any tolerance, especially since your receptors are brand new to psychedelics. My advice is to start with a normal dose. Your first experience with psychedelics will likely be the most memorable and impactful, so with that in mind I would start with a great first beginner dose. You don't want to do to little, or you won't get the full experience. You also (obviously) don't want to do too much. There is a sweet spot. I'm not sure what it is for truffles, but for dried magic mushrooms that would be 1-2 grams. My first experience was 2 grams with dried mushrooms. It was beautiful, and I'm happy I went with such a solid dose for my first real trip. But if you aren't feeling that you can always start with the micro dose. In the end thats just my opinion from my experience, and i'm not an expert. Cheers! And enjoy your trip. Would love to hear a report after your done. -
@Brittle_buddha Wow man that was beautiful to read. Thank you for sharing your Report. Wow.

The more you feel and think internally "this girl is a hot one" or "this one is different" the more it will f*ck you up. Thats what every normal dude does. They treat hot girls like they are angels from another dimenson. It's best to see it the opposite way: the hotter the girl, the more normal the human you have to treat her. Hot girls are used to needy guys putting off the energy and vibe towards them that "oh my god this girl is a 10 I would do anything to be with her". So the less you give off that vibe, the more attractive you will be. The more you will stand out. Leo said it great:

VictorB02 replied to Vynce's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Vynce Unconsciousness in the way you ask is the "forgetting" or the "veiling" of infinite consciousness, apparently limiting it or confining it. But i'm sure you know, even unconsciousness is conscious. It's all the same stuff, just different flavors. -
@Dryas Satire? One of my favorite books to date!

@BipolarGrowth Hahaha. Looks like my video reached the right people. Leo is definitely one of my all time favorites and has helped me tremendously. I have pure nostalgia from watching his videos since I was around 15 years old -

VictorB02 replied to rnd's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
This is almost exactly my experience. It took me from a very stubborn and radical right wing mentality to an open and free hippie who loves bob Marley. But other than that, it didn't facilitate any real growth like psychedelics, meditation, and simple self inquiry and contemplation. My advice is that its good up to a point, and then you have to let it go. I'm 21 days free from it and haven't felt better in a long time. -

@Consilience anytime man. I love reading your replies. Not to boost your *spiritual ego* but I can feel the sincerity in them and they resonate. All in all, maybe there is something in the uncompromising message, but like you @Consilience, my intuition tells me that it would just be a trap to say "im done" when I know deep in my heart im not. Thanks everyone else for your discussion and replies. It's really helped me sort this out. -

Just found this from Daniel Ingrams "Mastering The Core Teachings of The Buddha Revised Edition": Very interesting to contemplate, and this is coming from a Master like Daniel, Makes me think of Shinzen Young as well, I wonder what he would say -

@Leo Gura I would love to hear your thoughts on if you think Jim, Tony, and these "Uncompromising" teachers have went "all the way" with awakening, or if they are deluding themselves? I know there is no way to know for sure, but with your experience It would be interesting to hear your take
