With reference to your YouTube video:
"Spiritual Enlightenment - The Most SHOCKING Truth You'll Ever Hear"
code: Bsyplaii9p4
If I roughly summarize the message in it (as how I understood):
"there is no such thing as 'I' in reality – it’s an illusion"
I have a question about this but let me give a small background (about me, not that it really matter, anyway):
You see, I came across with that same! message ~11 years ago (from a different source).
It was truly an awakening!
With that, a whole new journey has started.
My problem/question:
Unfortunately, for quite some time, that journey got stuck at certain point.
See, we understand that: I, me, myself is the product of what one establish from its birth to present.
Every memory, emotion, feeling, experience, sensation and etc; one underwent, since birth; defined that notion (to a level that: I, me, myself outgrew from just a notion to an existence of an imaginary entity)
See it’s all fine – because we have our new-found truth – or is it?
[I’m going to take the example in the video here]
With the new-found truth, one comes to the realization:
“it’s not an entity (me) that’s seeing the hand”
And then by, realize ‘I’ (who used to saw the hand earlier) is a mere illusion.
Now, WHO? came to this realization
Answer: is “me” – isn’t it not?
(Because if one picks his brain, for the memory that arrived at this realization;
that memory does exist – isn’t it not?)
There by the new “realization” (in this case the memory of arriving at that conclusion) - establish (and further sustains) the notion of I, me, myself again. And in my opinion: to make things even more worst this time, the notion of I, me, myself and the very illusion of existence - became more sophisticated - then by making it established - even stronger than ever before – don’t you think?
Please help me to figure this out.
