I think that for me, in the first year or so of watching his videos, starting like 3 years ago, I had so much to learn. Like, just look back at how you used to be, if you are in my position where this content changed everything and everything you know. Now, there is nothing left he could teach me that would have as big of an impact as learning about enlightenment and meditation. What is left is for me to learn whatever technicalities I want to, which I do through books, and to work on embodying what he teaches. He has taught the big picture, and now it seems his videos are meant to help people embody what they know, so of course it won't be as mind blowing anymore.

@Actualized Disciple Beyond the Aquilla Rift was my favorite too. Rewatched that ending a few times lol. I think that one helped me understand furries. twas cool tho -
hmm, I guess I feel like I already have this kinda down. What I think I'm really looking for is how veganism works, and how to do it properly, maybe something about permaculture, and heavy metals and other topics of that nature. I will and have done my own research on this, just hard to tell which books are 'good'

That's a good question. I haven't found an answer as to how much they help for when you are sober -

it feels like the meditation is doing itself. effortless -
I fill up large glass jugs from an RO machine at a grocery store. This way I don't get plastic in the water, or waste any. I remineralize it with pink Himalayan salt. Works great for me.

Raw veganism seems to work for some people. I might try it

That's great, as long as it's mixed with proper ecosystems -

Biggest downside of Bernie IMO. He is against it, although not explicitly psilocybin -
Hey, I'm 17, and in a very similar situation to you. I'm going to university for psychology next August. Your overall perspective reminds me of myself in some ways. I am way less certain on life purpose though, however, I have made a lot of progress and put a bunch of time into it. I appreciate your attitude, I aim to be a positive as you about the future and my potential! Anyway, on this paragraph, I resonate deeply with the idea of doing both simultaneously. Currently, while I am meditating a lot and all that kind of stuff, I am putting about as much effort into the 'secular' stuff, like life purpose. I have thought about going all in for spirituality, even skipping college to go meditate all day somewhere. Ultimately, especially after a retreat, I realized that that this was a kind of spiritual bypassing. Avoiding building an excellent life purpose and relationships and filling my lower needs would lead to a shallower awakening, and really wouldn't work. This is at the very least the conclusion I drew, I hope you find it helpful.

How else are you gonna do it and not fuck up the circadian rhythm

I've noticed how powerful kriya yoga is totally depending on my level of consciousness. If i am busy and mindless thorughout the day, it really does nothing, and it is hard to focus. If I am somewhat mindful throughout the day, it works good. When I was on a retreat, it worked insanely well and was more powerful than any other time. -
I'm reading The Religion of Tomorrow by Ken Wilber. In it, he describes his shadow work process of 3-2-1 or 3-2-1-0 I've been doing 3-2-1, where basically you find something that bothers you or the opposite, which is an it, 3rd person. you then talk to it, 2nd person, then reown it, 1st person. Yesterday I did this with a person that bothers me. At the 2nd person part, it became clear that they didn't deserve so harsh a feeling from me. At 1st person, it became clear that this was a part of me I didn't like. At that point, I decided to practice self-love. It seems to me that the best thing to do at that point is love that disowned part of the self. I did it just like this method

What do you guys think about going to Naropa University for undergrad?
-
you'll never look back

I've seen a lot of what seem to be substantive criticisms of Ken Wilber. What do you guys think of these? Are these legitimate? Why does this happen? It seems to me he might just have some type of shadow, or perhaps the claims are unsubstantiated. http://www.kheper.net/topics/Wilber/Cult_of_Ken_Wilber.html https://markmanson.net/ken-wilber

Would the one about SD and economics on the book list be good? -
@Jed Vassallo I do think it is feasible. That's certainly something I would want lol. @Leo Gura About survival, yes, but won't that survival be happening on tier 2 and up spiral stages, such that it will be structurally similar to what a future stage yellow or turquoise society would look like? This way it would be much better than mainstream society. Although that may be what you just acknowledged. Anyone know of examples?

The decisions for acceptance are supposed to come out soon, so I've been thinking about going here for undergraduate. In many ways, it seems way better than other schools. It emphasizes a global perspective, environmentalism, and changing the world. Life purpose is something people here are interested in, way more so than the average state school. It is insanely affordable, around a third to half the price of some other schools I like. I wouldn't go into debt. Study abroad is part of the tuition, and everyone does it. Highly rated academics, super small classes, great curriculum. It was founded by Buddhists but is non-sectarian. However, there are criticisms, many claim religious discrimination takes place against non SGI buddhists, and it's hard for me to tell if these criticisms are accurate. https://ocweekly.com/soka-university-of-america-is-a-school-on-a-hill-6416780/ Like these As far as I can tell, it is stage green and up. They even have almost all of Ken Wilber's books in their library. The most I've seen at other colleges is one. The atmosphere just seems above the downsides of modern american universities, overall. But the claims of religious discrimination and of buddhist cult stuff accuses it of being stage blue. It seems like just a bad reaction. They are less tied to their buddhist religous roots than most christian founded universities. Of course, I'm not sure if anyone will have a good answer, since it might take a bunch of research. But from what I've said and stuff, What do you think? Thanks!

I don't agree with everything in this video but I found it very interesting. Addresses celibacy a good bit.

I read Power v Force. Does anyone know if truth v falsehood has new info? This whole concept and the kineosthology is interesting. I just wonder about the claims that it is universal. Since he and ramaji(who didn't even credit hawkins and acted like he came up with the idea, while still referencing him once or twice, in the book 1000) disagree on some random words. And then its like come on some word has an absolute numerical value? really? with no explanation of what the metaphysics and conceptual scheme behind that is.
