  1. I am 18(as of yesterday) I take no medications. It is pretty dry. Occasionally green and yellowish mucus has come out, but only a few times. I have had only a few painful coughing fits. The coughs are usually pretty not intense, it can happen anywhere from 5 to 50 times a day. Weed once every few months. I'm taking B12 daily. I use humidifiers. THis seems to be not from air conditions but I don't know. None other than the cough. I guess I just assumed it was disease in and of itself, thanks for that. Taking Host Defense which has some of those mushrooms.
  2. I did take about 2 weeks that were very relaxing over the holidays. I never really do too bad with stress. Meditation keeps me very calm. Well said. Will go in a week if I'm not better. Yes I have recently, but only about 10 days ago really, so after I had already been sick. None of the following had any noticable affect. I did a fast for two days a week ago. In the past 1 or two weeks I have been transitioning into veganism. I have been vegan fully for like 4 or 5 days. The thing about the doctor and antibiotics is that my parents may urge me to take them if the doc says I should. Although really I have full control so that's a rubbish excuse. I get a solid 8-9 hours sleep every single night. I have been made sure I am getting enough vitamin c from food, and I have taken a few supplements. Not that kind though. Also, I have been using Paul Stamets Host Defense since christmas.
  3. @Calcifer Thanks for sharing! Have you considered anything like this? This youtube channel has been very helpful for me. Already am taking those. I think I will get bloodwork soon and then after 6 months or something, to compare, although I do eat very healthy right now and have animal products only a few times in the past 2 weeks. I didn't plan on going to the doctor for it. I'd rather do it on my own. As of 2014 you can get your bloodwork done on your own, such as through personal labs. Maybe I should go to the doctor for it though.
  4. @herghly It was cool, although I don't feel like I learned much that I didn't get from his book. We went over the topics from it and he answered questions. The best part was probably meeting other psychonauts and people interested in this stuff, something that I've never done before.
  5. I was recently reading Stan Grof's new book and I decided to google and see if there were any local psychedelic societies in Minneapolis. It turns out their is one with 900 people. I requested to join and just got allowed in. I looked at their events and they have a bunch of cool things, meditation, yoga, swimming in icey lakes like Wim Hof events, and on January 10th and 11th, Christopher Bache is coming to hold a talk and then an all day workshop. I am going to the talk, which is 10 dollars, and might go to the workshop, which is 90 dollars. For those who don't know, Christopher Bache wrote the recent LSD and the mind of the universe, which I've seen talked about on the forum. This is so cool! I'll get to meet him!
  6. Wow, just read like half this thread, thinking it was new. Was a radical recontectualization to realize so much that I thought was new to this place was already very here 3-4 years ago, like 5meo and epistemology Edit: the audio is absolutely chilling fuck dude
  7. I love Omad, I just take nootropics in the evening with it. However, when I do that I just take huperzine a, L Theanine, and lions mane mushroom. Unfortunately I can't maintain my weight with OMAD so i'm back to intermittent fasting. This makes it easy. Let us know how this work
  8. Also, Christopher Bache in his LSD and the Mind of the Universe says so much in common with Leo, he talks about healing the collective with psychedelics, accessing esoteric abilities, etc.
  9. Thank you all so much. I am so grateful. I am supplementing those 3 currently! Also magnesium and zinc. Would you recommend bloodwork for those other deficiency possibilities? I could get it done easily. Personallabs.com is 115 dollars for comprehensive bloodwork. @Calcifer THank you greatly. I will watch all those videos. Funnily enough I am interested in understanding raw veganism too so thanks. Looks good, added to my prospective reads list. What!
  10. I went, it was so cool. People were talking about spiral dynamics and Ken Wilber. Met a bunch of people
  11. I'm just worried about things like B12 deficiency and stuff
  12. https://www.livingfuel.com/the-super-meal-you-can-drink.html This seems like a really good alternative to supplementing with pills things like b12, minerals, vitamin c, probiotics, red wine stuff, etc. From the website: More metabolism-boosting and body-sculpting protein than a half dozen organic egg-whites More body-slimming and appetite-controlling fiber than two bowls of organic steel cut oatmeal More immune-enhancing Vitamin D than ten fillets of arctic fish More mood-boosting Vitamin B-12 than 50 servings of raw organic cheese More free radical destroying Vitamin E than one pound of raw organic almonds More bone strengthening calcium than two glasses of organic whole milk More heart healthy potassium than two organic bananas More energy producing vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients than ten fresh organic green salads More healthy antioxidants than ten bowls of fresh vine-ripe organic berries More brain-building Omega-3 than two cups of organic edamame More youth-enhancing resveratrol than four glasses of red wine More gut-beneficial prebiotics and probiotics than 6 servings of yogurt More digestive enzymes than three whole organic papayas More stress relieving Vitamin C than seven oranges Should I get it? Specifically the greens one its vegan non gmo organic seems really high quality. Seems better than this:
  13. Excited to hear about your business. It does sound like you have a good amount of yellow, at least in the cognitive line. If so, you could still look for a girl who wants to evolve into embodying higher levels with you, and cognitively understands yellow. In my experience, this kind of thing just isn't gonna rub off on most people, and that's fine. Keep talking to people. Go to ayahuasca retreats and meet people there, rather than meeting people and taking them to ayahuasca retreats. Don't drag others into it. I've found a few people who are interested in spiral dynamics, and only one who is now seriously studying it. As far as dating goes, I have completely failed to meet a green girl who is transitioning to yellow, or higher, I've only found blue orange and green ones, who don't seem like they will just move to yellow because of me. I think it is just because of the percentage of people in higher stages is lower.
  14. If you do that, it would probably not be harder than going from no retreats to your first retreat. Or from wherever to the first 10 day vipasanna. If you use the guitar, just make sure you don't let yourself stop being mindful. In my experience it's better to not push it. If you can do a ten day retreat with food, do that, and master that. You can get a lot out of it still. Let us know what you decide to do!
  15. I currently eat a fairly healthy diet, lots of fruits and vegetables, meat, nuts, etc, with few exceptions. I do intermittent fasting & OMAD(One meal a day) often. However, I know there is much more to this, and I want to really optimize my health with things like fasting especially, heavy metals, I have thought about going vegan, probiotics and stuff. Online there is just so much information, and it's hard to really implement anything. It is disorganized. What books do you recommend? The ones on Leo's book list don't really resonate with me much.
  16. I think that for me, in the first year or so of watching his videos, starting like 3 years ago, I had so much to learn. Like, just look back at how you used to be, if you are in my position where this content changed everything and everything you know. Now, there is nothing left he could teach me that would have as big of an impact as learning about enlightenment and meditation. What is left is for me to learn whatever technicalities I want to, which I do through books, and to work on embodying what he teaches. He has taught the big picture, and now it seems his videos are meant to help people embody what they know, so of course it won't be as mind blowing anymore.
  17. Wow! After more research, that book looks amazing. I ordered it!
  18. Thank you! Will look into these and get one
  19. @Actualized Disciple Beyond the Aquilla Rift was my favorite too. Rewatched that ending a few times lol. I think that one helped me understand furries. twas cool tho
  20. hmm, I guess I feel like I already have this kinda down. What I think I'm really looking for is how veganism works, and how to do it properly, maybe something about permaculture, and heavy metals and other topics of that nature. I will and have done my own research on this, just hard to tell which books are 'good'
  21. That's a good question. I haven't found an answer as to how much they help for when you are sober
  22. it feels like the meditation is doing itself. effortless
  23. I fill up large glass jugs from an RO machine at a grocery store. This way I don't get plastic in the water, or waste any. I remineralize it with pink Himalayan salt. Works great for me.
  24. Raw veganism seems to work for some people. I might try it
