  1. I’m observing that I’m intrinsically motivated by international politics. I spend quite a bit of time looking at how people perceive the world in different countries. Part of me thinks that I should create a life purpose around international politics. However, at the same time, another part of me feels apprehensive about this calling. Politics is rife with blaming, attacking, selfishness, and other kinds of devilry. So, kind of like candy, sometimes I wish I wasn’t so interested in absorbing these viewpoints, and I worry that it brings me to a lower vibration. I wish I could find a healthy domain that I’m intrinsically drawn to. As. My life has progressed, though, it seems like this is an enduring fascination of mine. Not sure I’m expecting anything. Just visualizing this dilemma and trying to work through the best way forward. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
  2. Similar to Religion vs Science, it would be great to hear a discussion on how to get out of this duality.
  3. @Leo Gura He's arguing with her, and it seems like he's offering a perspective to help these fearful people deal with resentment. It really doesn't seem that bad.
  4. Great list! I'm trying to help my wife publish her stories and poems. Do you have recommendations or resources for a new writer interested in publishing and earning a living off of her writing?
  5. I think this article shows a thoughtful Blue thinker lamenting that his newspaper (nytimes) is entering the transition from Orange to Green. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/12/opinion/nyt-tom-cotton-oped-liberalism.html @Leo Gura I'm curious what you think.
  6. I would like to learn Tai Chi. Does anyone have a recommendation for an online resource?
  7. How can I possibly not be this body. I get that Neti Neti shows that I am not located in the feet. But I still feel my feet, and I don't feel yours.
  8. He talks about love halfway through this. There are other places but I can't find them now.
  9. If you were going to learn videography from scratch, where would you start?
  10. Thanks I will check him out. Here is the rupert spira episode if anyone is interested. It's called The Nature of the Body https://www.owltail.com/podcasts/28069-audio-the-essence-of-non-duality#top-L8tak
  11. Does anyone have a meditation or audio exercise that helps with awareness that you are not the body. There is a 20 minute Rupert Spira clip that has provided some insight. I am hoping to find similar resources.
  12. @Leo Gura I’ve wondered this too. Maybe Jed became enlightened at stage orange and stayed there, and because if that he spends a lot of ink making fun of stage green spirituality attempts. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  13. @Leo Gura I’ve been curious about this for a while also. In the Myers Briggs, for example, I score very high in prospecting and my wife scores very high in judging. Not surprisingly, she has a very clear idea of what she likes and doesn’t like, and she tries hard to avoid those things (I.e. dirty places, smokers, etc.). I generally like exploring and am not turned off by these kinds of things. if I understand you correctly, her comportment wouldn’t be classified as crusader type judgement, and therefor wouldn’t necessarily deter her growth. Is that correct?
