  1. It might have something to do with your health, do you have low energy levels? examine your sleep cycle/diet/how much sunlight your getting. It could be wonderous how just fixing a crappy sleep cycle alters your mood and motivation.
  2. @Trangoody the pluck guy probably watches jordan peterson on a daily basis obsession with your "teacher" can happen to every single teacher.
  3. are you on the computer all night long? Altering your sleep cycle in a drastic way will inhibit/mess with your hormone secretion, including testosterone! As bad as this may sound, you should aim to wake up with the sunrise (usually around 6:30am) and ideally fall asleep between 10-11pm. You will gain so much energy just from doing this alone. It will suck the first week but after that your body naturally wakes up super alert our serotonin is made in our gut, so if your food is crappy, the gastrointestinal system will be unhappy and it will fuck with your emotions big time. Bad gut system is also the cause of pretty much all autoimmune disorders and greatly contributes to neurodegenerative diseases. YES! it will suck eating healthy probably for the first week or two because your tastebuds are so adjusted to the unhealthier stuff but you will start craving for healthy stuff the more you eat them. Basically cut out all gluten and dairy and start eating tons of vegtables, meat and fruit and eggs. Make sure you consume fermented foods to aid your gut bacteria. things like kombucha (personally i think it causes diahrea lol), sauerkraut, beet kvass, natto, etc.
  4. hey guys, question about concentration. I am still having great trouble locating bruhmadya (spelled wrongly, the third eye point). The author described to first focus on the back of your head, then from the viewpoint of the back of the head to look forward at the third eye between the brows. This is very confusing to me. He says you should get it in 3 seconds, but i spend all of my concentration trying to find this point, and my eyes feel strained from looking slightly upward. Why do i have to look back then front again? WHy cant i just focus a little above the point between my brows, on my forehead?
  5. How does your diet and sleep cycle look like? its very hard to improve much consciously if your diet is crappy and/or if your up late at night.
  6. you have a journal!!! yay excited to read it
  7. gotta agree with this. I have never had any drug experience, (i do wish to try it once or twice) but i dont think people should be taking them so often. maybe annually or bianually. I do think everyone should at least try a psychedelic to get a glimpse of what non duality is about but we cant confuse this with actual non duality. SO far what ive learned from here is that they are the same thing the same experience, but how do we know if they are the same? what if the drug tricks us into thinking we are having a non dual experience when its an illusion. I love what leo does on this channel, but most of these teachers blazed mentioned have over 30 years of experience, some over 40 years. Leo has a couple of years. Maybe Leo hasnt gotten yet to the stage where he realized that using so much psychedelics isnt that "good" for awakening. idk im quite confused on this subject now.
  8. for people asking about a younger teacher: Lisa Cairns (is 35 or something): tried psychedelics: yes (lsd), Recommends?: NO (said she damaged her brain and doing nonduality work would be easier if she hadnt) BUT there are many spiritual gurus who do recommend. Blazed wrote a list of people who dont agree. But you still need to consider the ones that do Teal Swan: tried psychedelics: ?? (i think so?) Recommends: YES, HIGHLY Ralph Smart (IDK hes seems more of a pep talk person rather than an actual "guru"): tried?: yes recommends?: YES if anyone knows any other who recommends, i'd add them here. I think the reason why all of the most famous gurus dont is because they know the huge influence they have and know a lot of people who watch them might have unstable minds (depression/psyhotic episodes) and psychedelics would damage further. Maybe theyre against it because psychedelics would pull the person away from their teachings (since alot of them are business men, no? maybe people who misuse them would blame them (the guru) and then the media would make the guru look really bad and theyre trying to avoid that or trying to avoid getting sued. we have to look at every angle here.
  9. my thoughts started to drown me, so i looked for a way to allievate thinking too much
  10. i have the EXACT same problem! my boyfriend is impatient too and wants to have sex a lot. and i still cant finish off with him yet and he already told me that he's scared that we'll have problems in the future because we'll both feel unsatisfied in a way. (we've only been together for 3 months) did you do this through meditation?
  11. sounds absolutely incredible this makes me sooo excited for 5-meo!!!!
  12. didnt leo say repeatedly throughout his videos and on this forum that truth can never be verbalised, and hes just showing us bumps in the road that some people get stuck on and how to overcome them? -this all just philosophizing and argueing without doing. Did you actually try meditation/self-inquiry, etc. Rereading the last sentence i can see how a criticizeer would say "look how brainwashed you are!" In the end, everything is brainwashing, no? the only way to truly see what works and what doesnt is to do the practices instead of complaining. pretty much every single person has gotten great benefit from these methods.
  13. @Prabhaker what about woman?
  14. I know about meditations of marcus aurelius and seneca, but i thats about it. And when i read meditations, i understand some thoughts, and others make no sense to me. I want to learn about philosophy as a whole, any suggestion would be much appreciated
  15. Yes, holotropic breathing opens my solar plexus and heart chakra. Easiest method to find out for yourself.
  16. meditate& practice self-inquiry and all the answers will come, with time.
  17. why are you meditating so late? Sleepiness may be an issue, our natural circadian rhythm is trained to want us to sleep at around 10pm (window 9-11pm) you should meditate either first thing you wake up, or if your busy then, or lazy like me lol, try doing it at sunset. Even better if you can go outside and face the sun and get exposed to some healthy rays (since kriya tells us to face east)
  18. Unfinished Greek statue inspired by the Talos Principle. Thought about adding some grass and flowers entwined around her
  19. i feel like these realizations have been said over and over in the videos for the past 2 years.
  20. Breakfast is easy for me, either a big smoothie with some eggs or oatmeal with fruit. Its Lunch thats always difficult. I feel like just a salad isnt enough. But i dont have too much time to make it since im a full time student. What do you guys eat for lunch/share your recipes? Especially on the go ones?
  21. care to share those resources? Im super interesting in intermittent fasting due to its trigger of autophagy in cells and its great healing ability for people with diseases, especially autoimmune diseases, but im also scared of any negative effects it can have. I remember back when i did super intense exercising (specifically crossfit 4-5 times a week) my periods became significantly less ( from 7 day heavy flow to a 3 day very light flow) and very irregular. I notices hormonal changes as well, so i quit. SO now im always super weary of doing big changes
