Okay, I see what you mean. I meant actually seeing it for what it is without a story (of the consequences of misunderstanding.) The seeker can grasp on to it and make it into a belief. It only becomes nihilistic once it is made into a belief. There is a lot of truth available in the message if its heard/seen without distortion.

What I mean is if you just took the message for what it is. If you didn't see it as another unawake guy who doesn't know what he's talking about. Then maybe you would give the message a little more space to marinate. Seems like whatever he says is instantly declined.

Maybe drop the superior know-it-all attitude, and see if you actually disagree with what he writes.

No-self is the "Self." Different totally empty terms that point to the same unspeakable, unknowable You. Behind and within the drama You are, pointing and speaking to yourself. You can make it appear as though something else is going on, very believable, fun, but a dream. There is only right and wrong in the dream, more or less etc. You get stuck in the story, the beautiful play of duality, suffering. You long for You, You are scared of You, You are protected by You. You are. Relax.

The fact that it's one makes everything appear exactly as it is "supposed" to. There can be no other way, than what is happening. The rabbit hole of the story goes infinitely deep, as there is nothing outside of what's happening. If you believe you're a human, everything that arises confirms that conviction. A movie is only good and believable if the plot and the environment is strong and believable. Duality has a bullet proof plot and environment as long as it is believed to be true. There is literally no way out.

I've been watching Tony Parson, Jim Newman, Richard Sylvester and other "neo-advaita" speakers lately. Their main message is This Is It, which something resonate with. What I don't get is why many of these speakers often talk shit about other teachers like Rupert Spira, Eckhart Tolle and Adyashanti. They say that these teachers talk to an individual, while they themselves doesn't talk at all, there are just speaking happening. Alright, but in awakening it is seen that everything is saying the exact same thing, THIS IS IT. It is so obvious that there is nobody, there are only things happening, people aren't separate, there is only one. Everything literally is one. How then if there is "no me" in Tony, Jim and Richard there is story about how their message is coming more purely from oneness than the teachings of Rupert, Adyashanti and Eckhart Tolle? Seems very contradicting. There are infinite ways to describe the beloved, every single one of them falls short of the truth.

Inliytened1 is just as real as Javfly33 is. There is apparently many individual beings, but they all appear in being Itself. No reason to start believing that you as a person is the only real one in the dream. God see only God. From the perspective of a human individual there are many seperate individuals. If you dont recognize this then forget it, dont make it into a belief.

I dont know and I dont care. If you look at the phrase "nothing matters" or "everything matters" what does that even mean? Why should it matter, why shouldn't it matter, who cares?
