Laughter is laughter, hilarity is hilarity. Does it need to be other than it is? -

It is looking for an escape, it will do that until it doesn't. All of the epiphanies are actually meaningless, they are all small treats for the mind which stops the seeking for a couple of minutes, but it backfires with even more seeking afterwards because it is holding on to a state. What is actually longed for is the end of the search for something else, it uses incredible amounts of energy to make sense out of it's existence, but it never gets a satisfying answer. Because it actually doesn't exist, it is a dream, the dream of a real life and a real world and all of this real stuff. Many are totally immersed in the dream, they know what things are, they are sure that they are real and that this is just how it is. The mystery of this is lost in knowing. How funny is it that you actually think that you know what this is, this has nothing behind it/inside of it, there is no source to which this have a ground/base of knowing. It is totally wild and weird, amazing, and within it a story arises making it seem orderly and known. Nothing will ever fulfill the need that the person has of finding an answer or an end. The end is not a finding, it is the loss of the need to find anything. Thoughts are not the problem, THIS is appearing as a person having problems with thoughts. -

Interesting story, why don't you try telling a new one? You seem pretty tired of that one. @deso seems to need a little bit of space and forgiveness. Give him some! -

One of the hardest things is seeing your loved ones have the same hole inside them that you know so well. Then having to live with the fact that they will never be open to another possibility. -

The one who made this topic is not the "one" who got the choice to die. You had no control, you have no control. You did not chicken out, it might have been interpreted that way, but that is just an interpretation of fuck all. Yeah it is fuck all, because wtf do you know about anything? You're not as important as you think, and yet I should be careful of what I write here, but there is no world for you to save and there is no one out "there" waiting for you to save them. When I had a mystical fractal weird ass mahasamadhi hankaradadakarlagimarakadilagiraki experience I fucking begged God to fucking take me, I wanted him to fuck me for ever, and he did but then it felt like I pulled myself back here on the "physical" plane, now he stopped fucking me but started fucking me over by making me think I had something to do with the fucking. Goddammit searched for that shit and was in my fucking head for a year or two looking for absolutely nothing. Edit: jeez, just read this over again, take this with a grain of salt. -

It is bizarre and it is the last thing the seeker wants. It wants a conclusion, a breakthrough into something feasible that it can know. That breakthrough is a dream, it is falls hope, suffering. Infinite free fall, you grab onto things, but you slowly begin to understand that nothing can be held on to. Gradually the safe solid/known reality dissolves in front of you, it will feel like you are going absolutely crazy, spiritual teachers will lose all of their authority, everyone will lose all of their authority, you will be TOTALLY alone I mean T.O.T.A.L.L.Y alone because it is absolutely hopeless and unreal, you will instinctively know that everyone you gave authority are as clueless as you are to what this is, nothing will help you, NOTHING, because it is all a dream, a prison, you're holding on to the bars with dear life. Not real, and real. If you get a glimpse of the void, you're practically already dead. You can't unsee it. All that is of course total bullshit, a story. Welcome to the world of no-thing! Here there is only unknowing and nothing is real, bye bye safe world, hello no-thing world full of existential action like the terrifyingly exciting fan favourite: Fear of non existence!! Or try out one of our new Rollercoasters called: "You're all alone" and "your whole life is a lie!" That sure is a kicking ride yoo! I'm on day 2 of nicotine withdrawal so if this sounds depressing, tell yourself that it's because someone over here is depriving themselves of quick fixes of dopamine every 2 minutes, trust me life is miserable without it, but also with it, and my lungs need recovering so I have to do this. -

Hehe, yeah "I" does want to be God, problem is that "I" and "God" and "Pepsi max" is the same "thing." -

All questions can be answered with yes and no, both are equally true and untrue. The question and answer format creates confusion because there is an expectation that everything can be hidden within an answer, that it can be known through aquiring enough knowledge. The questioner, question, the answerer and the answer is within the dream of separation. Everything, how can you step out of it to find it, if it is everything? Hint: you can't. The tension/frustration is the seeking energy, the energy the seeking energy is seeking to unravel. It is a loop of itself. It perpetuates "itself" by trying to find it's own absence, but it is "itself". It thinks that an answer will fullfill it's need of not seeking anymore, but not seeking anymore is not seeking anymore, how are you going to seek to not seek anymore? -

You are not aware. If you are the controller of awareness then try not being aware. Awareness is effortless, the person takes ownership of it and then says that it 'does' it. Reality as you know it is your ego. Your ego is not bound to your body. When the owner is apparently there, everything is in relation to it. There isn't actually an ego, that too is a concept owned. The person goes in circles trying to find a state free from the person, the person wants to be there to know it has arrived to the personless "state." Can you see how it is a closed loop? The hopelessness of the search? It is stunningly obvious. You're looking for a permanent shift, a state where you can finally be at peace. That state doesn't exist, what already is, is all there is. The experience of searching for that state is all there is, kind of, lol. You can't express everything in words, but everything is expressed in words. Contracted energy is all that you are, the contracted energy will not experience boundlessness, the contracted energy already is boundlessness. -

Physical death is a concept. Every-thing is. What is looked for is not knowing, death is the loss of all known. This is death. The experience of being a human being is happenings stringed together, creating time. Suddenly there is existence and when there is a thing(existence), there is always its opposite or something creating contrast (non-existence). This is the constant unease of feeling real. The unknown is always a threat, and it feels unwhole, missing your other half. There is an apparent person, the experience of someone inside the body taking action and steering life in the right direction. There is a great fear of death in this experience, because it is the loss of the all real/known. Nothing is neither good or bad, it is just what it is. It is paradoxical for a person to understand, but it is totally ordinary, it is everything. There is nothing to be done, but the seeker can only seek, until it falls away, and there is the joke. It has always been right in front of you. -

This is the soundtrack for "I lost my body", a french animated movie on netflix. The soundtrack touches me deeply everytime I hear it. The movie is just as good. I stroooongly recommend everyone, especially on this forum to watch it, it will awaken something in you. This movie and soundtrack are also pieces of art. -

You put a line over "solipsism isn't true" but there is no real reason to tell someone who is suffering with that belief otherwise. When one says something is true, the opposite is always just as true. By countering op's belief with its opposite, it may (probably not) be let go off. The belief has no value whatsoever and it is as empty as any other belief. -
traveler replied to Antor8188's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Eat more (only if you feel like you lost your appetite), watch some shitty tv shows, take a break from spirituality, solipsism is not true. Remember that what you think you know is only what you think you know. -

Astrology is such a limiting and shallow attempt to try and understand what is going on here. News flash, you can't understand what is going on here, putting people into boxes is just another futile attempt to solidify an objective reality. It relieves tension for a while having a core belief structure that explains why things are as they are, but it is still in the dream of achieving something. Most card readings are about shallow relative stuff: "wow July looks very promising for you Libra, you will definitely find some sort of relief here in this month, OOOOHHH look at that Libra, an eleventh of cups, that means money will be flowing your way... Hhmmmm somethings feels out of place here, you got the reverse hangman, fuck me you might actually have someone in your life that is trying to tell you something!" Not trying to ruin the vibe here, just having fun, I don't actually care, if astrology is of interest there, there is nothing wrong with that.? -

There is no god. There is only god. Nothing and something is one. There is no God in the sense that an apparent person think of God. There is no reason whatsoever to change your grandpas beliefs. Let him be, rub his hairy old feet and make him a cup of tea, listen to his old war stories, listen to how it was back when he was young, all of that is God. -

I think where "we" apparently differ is in the statement "i wasn't conscious of that until I was." There is an universal "I" that can be experienced, it is the experience of the only "I" in existence being/speaking with itself, it is what is happening now but a consciousness of it is not a requirement. Holding on to it creates another position where "i" can stand, but now it is the big "I". Everything comprehensible is not the absolute truth. This is totally incomprehensible, it can not be understood. It is ever changing, it never can be known or held on to. Every word with an intention of holding what is, is imprisoning the unlimited in the limited. This happening "right now" is totally unique, it will never be experienced again, it is created and destroyed simultaneously. -
traveler replied to Red-White-Light's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Inliytened1 Liberation is not an experience. Experiences are fleeting, if you experience infinite orgasms it is very easy to get attached to those states. I know what you are talking about, I have fallen into that trap many times because it is such a mindblowing "state". What @mandyjw and @VeganAwake are pointing to is that THIS, this very happening IS that glimpse. The person gets attached to good and pushes away that which is apparently an obstacle for good. There are no real obstacles, this very ordinary happening is it, but that is of course unacceptable for you.
