  1. @mandyjw Nope. But then, I became enlightened.
  2. I had a funny conversation with a colleague at work. He came to talk and we started the normal chit-chat. What's up? It's good. What's with your wife? She's fine. Do you watch TV? Nah. What's with the kids? Everything's okay. It was like I was talking to myself.
  3. @Zigzag Idiot Is that a roundabout way of saying: I won't answer your roundabout question?
  4. @Zigzag Idiot Have you ever asked yourself what would you do if you became fully awake during your lifetime? Like, now?
  5. That is time dependent. I am not the actor with free will. There is only now. Until recently (an hour or so?) I was still riled up with the fact that the past, my personal story, was folding onto itself, like it never happened. The amount of synchronicities that occurred between the now and many past events felt like foreshadowing in a movie. I had a little ego backlash from that, but I recovered stably. Ego being time, of course.
  6. @Zigzag Idiot I started as an intellectual, but over the past 5 years I've been developing my emotional awareness since my initial awakening. Over the past 2-3 years, I had numerous mystical experiences related to chakra and all of the centers are awakened. The progress was: Third eye* -> Crown -> Throat -> Sacral and the root** -> Heart -> Solar plexus. When I started to develop my emotions, I tried to consciously mediate between them and the intellect. Reconciliation was simultaneous with the awakening of the instinctual center. Now, my everyday interactions are permeated with flow. I can't sincerely say that I reside in any particular center. I'm resting in the now effortlessly and suffering centers me without any striving. It's like time is over. * - The third eye was open ever since I can remember. I used to have multiple lucid dreams in my childhood. ** - The root seems to have always been open, but its recognition was simultaneous with the recognition of the Sacral. In fact, the final step was like there was no progression to begin with. Like it's always been that way, unbeknownst to me.
  7. @mandyjw Leo was not even able to hear the question I was asking back then. He bailed by blaming language for being dualistic and that I confuse relative with absolute.
  8. @mandyjw Have you seen this thread? I bet you're gonna like it.
  9. Very good. When will you see the doctor? Make sure to not confuse enlightenment with the death of the body. Here is a great post by @Preetom that highlights this difference:
  10. @mandyjw Are you acquainted with chakras? Are you sure it's not solar plexus chakra waking up? When I was dying my whole body was on fire.
  11. @mandyjw Are you trying to be in the present sometime in the future? Are you worried that you've lost the present moment in the past?
  12. And it keeps being hell until you realize it's no different from paradise.
  13. @mandyjw "Will you take the apple?"
  14. That's your man, not mine. I like how brutal this is.
  15. At that time I saw this as a horcrux that I still clung to. Crossing this sentence out brought me relief. Never understood what law of attraction was all about, but I found it attractive nonetheless. I really disliked it for being proposed as a tool to achieve goals. I never had no goals to begin with so I couldn't buy into it. The moon only shines with a reflected light.
  16. You're wise, old man. Let's have a dinner.
  17. USA is going to be a very fertile ground in a few years when it will have its existential crisis. With the increase of importance of self-driving cars, there will be massive unemployment among truck drivers and transportation in general. If you are able to provide universal basic income for people that are unemployable because of this (and they are), what else is there to do in life than become spiritual? Other than that - if you need somebody to tell you that you're full of shit - then this is it: You are playing the lesser jihad.
  18. @Zigzag Idiot Hey, I was wondering where would you put me on your ladder of idiots? I really enjoy when you talk about enlightenment from your own experience.
  19. First of all, nonduality is unprovable. Period. If science were to realize nonduality, it would first have to become self-conscious. This self-consciousness, would be a branch of science that studies science as a whole. This meta-science would have to create a theory of science. Its centralized identity. Then, newly-created branches would have to conform to this identity until stagnation. Then, a question would arise - is science that studies itself conforming to the identity that it created? After a long turmoil - it would have to admit that science does not exist and it has never existed to begin with.
  20. I haven't drew a hexagram in a few days. Mostly because I learned the message that the book had to offer. It had helped me tremendously. Thank you @Zigzag Idiot . It would be great if you took care of the journal. I may post here from time to time.
  21. What is that person made of? What does this person hinge upon? Like really, contemplate that. Write this stuff. This is your enlightenment theory. It's not enough to believe that there is no person. Sometimes a theory is a record of lies to be disposed. A record you need to write to see through yourself. If there is no single thing that this person contributes to the totality, then what does it even mean to be a person? And don't make the mistake Leo makes. You do not contribute that theory to the world. That theory is garbage from the start. Write that on a piece of paper and burn it down once you're done.
