  1. I dont believe you need different methods for different 'stages'. Can you give an example?
  2. Yup, its a permanent shift but its not so easy. It takes actual effort to realise that the screen is the reality not the landscape. It is like something is blocking your eyes and you have consciously remove it slowly and steadly and then your eyes become clear and you can see the truth. Enlightenment is more like untruth unrealisation than truth realisation. Truth was always there, untruth is blocking it.
  3. @Dodo I was never looking for happiness, I was looking for Truth. Happiness is your default state, but ego blocks it. You are right, no one is happy and enlightened when no self is realised. It is like passing through a gateless gate.
  4. I still prefer no stages as saying there are stages only confuses people. The never ending quest for enlightenment where there always a 'higher' stage. I can see your point though
  5. @egoless What is the one thing that stays constant and never changes?
  6. See by inspiration I mean a writer is inspired by roman culture so he makes a book on it
  7. There are internal methods of increasing creativity and external methods. External methods may vary from profession to profession but internal methods stay the same. Things like observation, inspiration, curiosity about life virtuality help increasing creativity regardless of the activity being performed.
  8. Kinda. Like engineer will use different tools for creativity than a writer
  9. @How to be wise I mean a lot of it depends upon the nature of activity you are going to do. Different activities require different tools for creativity
  10. Creativity and 'out of the box' thinking are different things
  11. I never said that. As always misinterpreting people and putting words in peoples mouth.
  12. I am pretty sure @Nahm means by love is acceptance and forgiveness for the rapist. The act of rape hurts both the rapist and the one getting raped so he would stop it. It means that the rapist may have ill intentions, but if you think about it from his or her standpoint, you dont know what their background is and you do not know what their personality is like. Also what the rapist is made out of is what @Nahm is made out of, consciousness.
  13. Thats a different thing all together
  14. I do not agree with leo on the point that enlightenment has degrees or levels.
  15. Do you need other people to scream you are enlightened to know that one is enlightened? Every enlightened person is self proclaimed if he/she wishes to express it
  16. Sometimes I see that people think they are being special by pursuing enlightenment. They see other people partying, playing video games, watching television etc and think that they have to be the opposite of that. Then they start thinking that somehow the people who do not do those things are inferior to them. This is not the right attitude. Enlightenment should come from a genuine desire to know the true nature of oneself, it shouldn't become a neurotic escape to be different than rest of the crowd. Thanks for reading
  17. Jed Mckenna is the best. He will definitely help you. All the authors you mentioned give watered down information.
  18. Sounds like the effects of enlightenment. You cant really search for enlightenment. Enlightenment is right here, but self is in the way. Work on removing the self. I recommend you read jed mckenna.
  19. @fabriciom Whats your goal in all this?
