  6. @StephenK Realisation of Anicca leads to Dukha, transcending Dukha leads to anatta
  7. Hi, I am from India. Here the staple diet is chapati(a form of wheat flour) and sabji(vegetable cooked in oil). I have done everything I can to make it healthy. I have replaced wheat flour with quinoa flour and soybean oil to extra virgin olive oil. So I have two questions: 1)What are your guys opinion on quinoa? 2)Isn't milk needed for healthy bones? If not then how do we get calcium?
  8. Actually Ive heard him say that a lot of times lol
  9. Haha, unfortunately I am eklota meaning only child of my parents. My younger cousins live far off so I dont know about them. Yes its quite concerning, but its a phase in my opinion that children have to go through. When they mature, hopefully they will realise that too much sugar is not good for them.
  10. No worries.. I know it is not directed towards me...its just that semantics are always such a ****.....
  11. Spoiler: The object(tree) cannot exist if there is no subject.
  12. @Deep Don't think you are somehow special that you're into enlightenment. Also an enlightened person wouldn't care about proving anything. The ego is not removed it is transcended in enlightenment. First become enlightened then set a criteria to judge other people, not by other people's measures.
  13. saying that would just be a thought, it would mean nothing
  14. @Shanmugam lol I would choose sadhguru anytime over rajneesh.
  15. Nothing is wrong with it. You suffer only when you realise the false self is not you, not generally. It is more like false self has been created due to the nature of intellect and memory rather than infinite oneness.
  16. Read peter ralston for consciousness work. Meditation is one of the techniques for pursuing enlightenment(not the best imo).
  17. @Viking Try self enquiry, consciousness work or pursuing enlightenment
  18. State of your mind as in create distance between yourself and your mind. A man asked buddha "I want happiness", Buddha said first remove "I" that is ego, then remove "want" thats desire. Then you are only left with "happiness".
  19. @Faceless Im not exactly sure what both of you are saying but probably both of you are right in a certain sense. Can u explain the debate?
