  1. kinda true Only possibility, not definite actuality What were you expecting, enlightenment is not an achievement. It is the realisation of truth; It is melting away of untruth . The thing is unless you are enlightened, duality still remains. Thats more than enough reason to do the work. Well again, if you were serious, you wont be asking this question. For a serious seeker, there is no way out.
  2. I don't feel superior in any way. There is no such thing as superiority and inferiority, blah blah blah. Its just that I am quite disappointed in him. I feel like he is serious about his journey but doesnt get such a simple thing. lol i just realised that does make me sound superior haha. Also Im frustrated, I know what joseph speaks is right, that there is no control, and I want him to understand that. Im not saying he is wrong, but there are more nuances to it. When you go back to your everyday life, you still choose, its a paradox. The body still takes my commands, but there is no me. Thanks, glad it were of use
  3. Direct experience is king rather than philosophising is what I meant
  4. @Joseph Maynor I think Your intellect dominates your experience not the other way round in this matter.
  5. Yh sure..I wish you godspeed. Maybe you will realise what I am saying in the next life time
  6. Yes, as I said they are more like effects than realisations
  7. In this thread, it should be on a page less than 5
  8. Yes they are effects of enlightenment so they happened at once. Only now that I have clarity, I am putting them into words. Ive already described my awakening experience earlier in the post. You can search it(I don't wanna type it again!)
  9. I know what you are saying, but thats only one side of the coin. Does your body move on its own and you just watch or something. If your body decides to jump off the cliff, you be like, oh...I have no control over reality, let the body jump off.
  10. lol yes, if I am walking towards a cliff, I have no choice to turn back. After all I have no control over anything. Ofcourse, how can I be so dumb! Thy will be done after all.
  11. No, there are no such things as facts, true knowledge isnt possible. What he means when he says he knows everything is that he is one with nature of reality and knows that existentially.
  12. Yup I have no desire in becoming a spiritual teacher neither I have any longterm goals. I do have some desires though but they are very rudimentary. No, once you are "enlightened", you go back to living in consensus reality. I see them as people, nothing else. Its kind of tricky to answer this but you cant say only people are projection of mind, you gotta say everything is a projection of mind. People are not isolated elements but part of the same whole. They are not connected but you should have an healthy diet so you can focus more. I have gotten a lot of comments like "You're different", but in actuality in means nothing. If everyone on this planet was enlightened then nobody would find me odd. Anyway once you're acclimated to your new sense of being after enlightenment, you can act like a normal person no problem, so this usually shouldn't come up. What do you mean by past lives? lol Sounds like something you picked up from somewhere. NO, I didn't see any past lives. Hope this helps
  13. Yes definitely if you're into anime
  14. @cactus You can make a conscious choice about what to do after enlightenment, whether you want to seclude yourself from society or return to your former life. I would recommend the latter and most people choose the latter. It is true also that most enlightened people are a bit reclusive because they prefer simplicity in their life. There is no dark side to enlightenment, the only dark side, if you really want to call something that, is not being enlightened and staying in ignorance. Congrats on your experiences
  15. Naturally when you realise all the baggage you carry is false, you will start becoming one with the flow of life. You dont need to become enlightened to be acclimated to the flow state though, it is something that you can start realising early on, that life has its own flow, you just have to go with it. I used to do 20 minutes of meditation, but it didnt quite work for me. I quit it even before my journey began. I still dont do meditation. As I said in my points, I feel like I am in a constant state of meditation already. I was always in a flow state even before my journey began, so yes ,I just went with whatever came(a flow state) and inquired. Non resistance is always the key.
  16. 19)There is no more existential suffering 20)Emotions come and go, you witness them without identification 21)An easiness or simplicity to life 22)Feeling like whole word is your home 23) No more psychological fear 24)A feeling of constant state of Samadhi without any high 25)Psyche is completely destroyed and then rebuild, it is like learning everything from scratch 26) Cannot confuse any belief for Absolute Truth 27)A feeling as if you were never born 28) A constant state of Happiness without being condition dependent 29)Always in a constant meditative state 30)Neurosis is not an issue anymore 31)The body still has needs but you don't identify them as your needs
  17. A better question you can ask is, Who is the one pointing?
  18. Unfortunately I could have added more points but I cant edit any longer
